This 2BR/2BA villa has been decorated with your guest experience in mind. The kitchen and baths are outfitted with comfortable and cozy appointments. The open plan includes a living and dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen where you can prepare yummy meals or pack a picnic lunch for the beach, and a comfrotable king suite with access to the patio where you can enjoy serene and peaceful views of the lagoons and the George Fazio Golf Course while sipping sweet tea, having that morning cup of coffee, or enjoying cocktails. A spiral staircase on the first level leads you to the twin loft with a full bath. The sleeper sofa in the living room is also available to accommodate 6 guests fully.

* Palmetto Dunes is a gated community in which every vehicle must have a gate pass for entry. One gate pass is included with your reservation at the time of booking. If you require additional passes, please request the exact number needed to ensure they are prepared in advance. Each pass has a fee of $35. All gate passes must be picked up at the host2coast office prior to entry.
* Free access to The Dunes Buggy transportation which provides courtesy transportation within Palmetto Dunes, Leamington, and Shelter Cove mid-March through mid-September. This on-demand service dispatches vehicles on a first-come, first-serve basis!

Sorry we could not make it

We did not make it to stay at the property because of the storms in Tennessee and Georgia. We were planning on driving from Nebraska and was unsure of the conditions in these two states so we did not go. We hope to book this same location next spring.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to those vacationing on HHI. The condo was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the views of the golf course. St. Andrew's Common is a lovely, well shaded, quiet community with plenty of room for bikes and parking.

Palmetto Dunes Stay

Perfect size condo on the golf course. Easy bike ride to the beach and tennis courts. Extremely clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. All amenities close by - loved walking to the general store every day! Renting a bike for the month was a must do!

Summer vacation

Everything was good with the condo and mostly good with check in except the car passes that were supposed to be at the condo when we arrived were not there. I called the Host to Host phone number and the first attempt it went to voicemail and said it was full. I tried again a short time later and got ahold of someone. Initially I was told “your car will probably be ok overnight with out pass and can get tomorrow” to which I replied that I was going to take that chance and would like to receive my pass tonight so then they agreed to bring so everything worked out fine. Rest of stay went great.

With the nice view, it would have been even better if the windows were clean especially facing the golf course. I was told new doors were installed before we arrived, they would stick when opening and closing. I was not crazy about the bed pillow top; moved a lot and not easy to make the bed. Other than that, we loved the villa. Host2Coast was very responsive and great to work with. Would definitely recommend this villa especially for two people. Also people in St Andrews were very friendly. Very nice community.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1979 St. Andrews villas was terrific. Great location and beautiful setting. A couple things to mention are that the couch could be replaced. The cushions on both ends were very saggy and uncomfortable and could feel the metal bar underneath. One other thing to mention is the AC doesn’t really reach the master bedroom quite effectively. In order to cool the bedroom, the living are was freezing.But the villa was terrific otherwise and we would definitely stay here again. We were surprised upon arriving that even though it was a townhouse, there were people below us. It is actually a second and third floor condo so the deck outside looks down on the patio of the people below you. Kinda wish we knew that ahead of time even though it wasn’t a big deal.Host2Coast was terrific to deal with and very accommodating for booking. Look forward to using them again in the future as well.

Disappointing

Yes, the view was gorgeous & we enjoyed all that HHI has to offer. Property was in a fabulous location & very clean. However, it had one of the worst stocked kitchens, with garage sale mismatched plates, silverware & glasses. Pots & pans were in terrible shape. No cabinet space to store food. Drawer broken. We had to buy knives, a trash can & glasses. Dishwasher did not clean well. Living room & bedrooms were poorly appointed. Carpet filthy & LR rug unraveling. Baths could definitely use an update. It would have been nice to have a comfortable seat in the LR. The owner needs to put a little money into the place. Felt 2nd hand. However, the rental agency was fantastic & we are going through them again for a different place next year.
