Completely remodeled after hurricane Ian! Enjoy this tropical location overflowing with palm, fruit and flowering trees overlooking a bay access canal in a quiet Bonita Springs neighborhood. Large windows and a screened in porch are perfect for viewing this lush back yard.

Large backyard deck and canal front dock. This is a perfect location for kayaking up and down the canals or out to Estero Bay. View dolphins, manatees, turtles, fish and birds.

Inside you'll find a cozy space with an open living room, kitchen, and sunroom with lots of windows to brighten the space. Both bedrooms feature queen size beds with new memory foam mattresses. The bathroom has a step in shower for easy access.

**Please note that the mileage given by google in the "what's nearby" section is not accurate. For example the property is 11 miles to Bonita Beach, not 2 miles as the map says. I have submitted a request to google to correct this.**

This was a great spot for our week stay. Plenty of opportunity to sit outside on the deck or screen porch. The area is very quiet at all times and felt quite safe. The kitchen is well equipped for any cooking we wanted to do and all the living areas are bright and comfortable. Nice chairs available for beach use. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We'd definitely stay here again.

this was a really cute little house. nice neighborhood. very quiet. there was a nice deck and a grill (i didn't use it, but it was there.) The shower had nice water pressure, would have liked if they supplied a hair dryer. Overall, very nice place. It could use a good dusting and a couple rugs would be nice. One thing that was confusing is that it said to make sure to take the kayaks out of the canal so barnacles don't grow on them. but there were no kayaks. I wish the listing said BYO Kayaks.

Thank you for the feedback. I tried to find on my listing/property guide where is mentions that to take kayaks out of the canal, but I couldn't find it. I do mention to pull the dock ladder out of the water to prevent barnacles. I am sorry if that caused confusion. I do not provide kayaks.

Pleasant peaceful getaway

My husband and I escaped a wintery three weeks in lovely surroundings. Everything in the home looked brand new with comfortable beds and furnishings. My husband enjoyed biking around the neighborhood and kayaking from the dock. I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed the house and the surrounding area. The inside of the home was beautiful! Home was comfortable and spacious. We particularly enjoyed the screened patio and dock. We fished frequently, but the tide and winds were a little wierd so we only caught fish 2 days. When we caught fish it was with live shrimp. Owner communicated promptly. I would recommend this property to someone for a future stay!

Quiet, Refreshing Get-Away

This rental was on a peaceful channel in a beautiful safe neighborhood. The home was perfectly clean in every way and she supplied many extras. She was great to work with and the rental was exactly as pictured online. There were many great places to visit that made for fun day trips and many yummy places to eat. We especially loved visiting Fort Myers Beach and the Florida Everglades National Park. Thank you! I would definitely rent again!!

Delightful!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was very clean and everything was new. The kitchen was well supplied with all we needed-top notch dishes and pans. Our favorite area was the backyard. We spent every evening outdoors on the deck enjoying the peaceful neighborhood and watching the moon and stars. The green fish light in the canal attracted many big fish every night that were fun to watch. We spent many afternoons on the deck and cooling off in the stock tank. There are so many nice beaches in the area to visit. Barefoot Beach was our favorite and also Delnor Wiggins. The half price happy hour restaurants on 5th Avenue in Naples were so much fun for an early dinner. There were lots of great walking trails nearby and there were always friendly neighbors out walking in the evening. The sunroom was perfect for breakfast and just enjoying the great view. We absolutely loved our 7 week vacation here!

A Great Spot for a Family

This was a great spot for my family and I for our spring break trip. The host did an amazing job setting up the house for comfort and hospitality. It’s a modest place but will more than meet all your needs. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with cookware and other utensil so if you’re a cook and looking for a place that will adequately cater to having meals in the house then this is a great place. The only thing I didn’t realize when I booked it was that there isn’t an actual oven, rather just a large toaster oven. But we could still make pizzas in it and toast baguettes and bake cinnamon rolls and things like that. Some of the best memories from the trip were made in that kitchen. The family room was great and comfortable and the tv had all the amenities we needed to watch The Final Four and our favorite movies and entertainment. The “pool” in the backyard was so simple but we found it so relaxing to go sit by it after a full day at the beach and just unwind and chat about all the adventures of the day. At night, after the sun went down, it was great to go out and see the different fish swim by the green light in the channel and look out at the stars. The screened in porch was a great option for being outdoors, too, if we needed to take refuge from the outdoor elements. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were decorated so cute and like I said, made us feel very at home. The bathroom is simple but will serve your needs without any problems. And getting in late at night from the airport was a bit of a worry but all that was for not b/c it was so easy to get into the house when we got there. It was a bit of a hike to get to get to our favorite beaches like Bonita and Barefoot but that didn’t bother us too much and it all worked out perfectly. We also mini golfed at Golf Safari which was an A+ and spent a wonderful day in downtown Naples, shopping and walking the beach and had a wonderful sushi dinner at Thai Sushi by KJ. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay and we all were sad when it was all over. I highly recommend this home and this host.

Loved it!

It was great! Loved the kitchen! Provided all kinds of extras for your home needs. Met some critter friends (iguanas) while there they were fun to watch. Great neighborhood to walk and watch the sunset.

Enjoyed our stay in Bonita Springs!

Kingfish Cottage is in a central location, with short driving distance to nice beaches, many activities in Fort Myers and Naples, and numerous restaurants. Our only disappointment was the cleanliness of the floors. There were dozens of dead flies and bugs on the floor when we arrived. The property manager sent someone out to sweep them up while we were away, but the floor still could have used a thorough vacuuming and mopping. This left us with the impression it had been a while since the last rental, and the property was not inspected before our arrival. The rest of the place (kitchen counters, appliances, and bathroom) were clean. Despite this disappointment, we enjoyed our stay in Bonita Springs!
