Northern Dream: All seasons lake house with nearby skiing, golfing and trails.

This completely renovated lake house has three bedrooms each with a bathroom, a large bunk room, an open floorplan and large sunporch overlooking the lake. There is no shortage of outdoor amenities as well including a sandy beach, bonfire pit, large deck with grill, kayaks (3), row boat, dock and water trampoline. Great for golf trips, fall colors and boasts a variety of winter activities, downhill/cross country skiing, snowmobiling and hiking! Can sleep up to 18 people.

A true gem of a cottage! Plenty of space indoors, and lots of outdoor activities to keep everyone entertained. There are plenty of activities within an hour drive as well, perfect for rainy days. Lauren was responsive to any questions that came up during the week, and check-in was a breeze.

Very nice house with 3 bathrooms which made it nice for our girls get away! We only had partial power when we arrived but the host was definitely on top of it. Ended up being trees on the line but the power company was there quick and had the power restored. The host definitely made right by it and communicated with us!

Beautiful home, lots of space, nice lake

The house had everything that we needed. The kids used the kayaks, and the paddle boards. We built a fire. The beds were so comfortable. Plenty of living space inside.Owner was very responsive to questions and concerns.

Really like this place . Our 2 nd. Time here . The only issue was the dock needed repairs didn't want to walk on it . Other than that had a great time here . Looking to book next year.

Lovely lake home

We enjoyed a week on the lake. It’s a smaller lake and was fun for skiing, tubing and wakeboarding. The outdoor seating for meals and a fire is great.

Great place to stay!

Very nice home on a quiet lake. Good fishing, nice beach for little kids. Awesome response and dealing with owner. Very nice cleaning lady-gave us tips on finding our way around nearby area and directions to town.

Great family vacation

Our family rents a lakehouse in northern Michigan just about every summer. This house was one of the best. Kids loved the beach area with kayaks, paddle boards, and floating trampoline. Adults enjoyed the fishing, fire pit, deck, and sun room. Communication with owner was excellent.

Family Snowmobile trip

It was a last minute book and Lauren did all she could to make our trip successful. From checking snow levels, to early check in as we were traveling with a baby, she was helpful and understanding as well with our car/trailer issue. The house had everything we could need, with plenty of space for our family of 9. Highly recommend. Would love to visit again in the summer.

Family vacation

This house was absolutely perfect for our family. We found we really didn’t need to bring anything except our clothing and food because they had everything! We spent a lot of time in the screen porch enjoying our the view, playing games and dining. The beach area was perfect for our grandchildren. There were so many sand toys and our grandsons loved the zip line! The water trampoline wasn’t in the best shape so we couldn’t use that. This property is perfect for children.

Family Vacation

Beautiful lakefront! The lake house was clean and spacious. Nicely decorated and very comfy and cozy!! Veiws of the lake were amazing!! The sunroom was my favorite, just such beautiful views of the lake!!! It's a great lake for fishing!!! We caught Bluegill, Bass and Pike. Nearby Gaylord was wonderful for shopping, restaurants and golfing too. Small glitch with digital access but host was quick to help us. Plenty of room for our large family! We had such a wonderful time!! We highly recommend this lovely lake house!!

Gorgeous Location & House

We spent three lovely nights at this property with 3 sets of adults and two kids below 10. Everyone loved the location and the house. Well appointed and had a well stocked kitchen with pots, pans, and anything else you'd need to cook a full meal. Only complaint was that with our stay being near the end of October, we turned the heat on and the Google Nest thermostat was low on batteries and a bit hard to figure out. We didn't see any directions in the welcome book but were able to look it up on the internet.

Perfect Last Minute Opportunity For Summer Family Fun

I can't think of a single complaint about this place! The house was cute, charming and cozy, with plenty of room for our good-sized group. We enjoyed relaxing cozily inside, gazing out at the view through the picture windows, and eating big family meals. But most of the action took place out on the water! The lake was the perfect size, not too big, not too small, and we explored it thoroughly on the kayaks, paddle boards, and the pontoon we rented, Stargazing and bonfires were a perfect way to top off the fun days, followed by a nice night's sleep in the cozy cabin. Thanks for your hospitality! We'd highly recommend!

Disappointed

We were disappointed in the cleanliness and overall condition of this property. The floors, in particular, were dirty and we found old grapes under the kitchen table and several plastic beads on and around the couch. This was an issue since we had young children with us. The electrical outlets in the master bath and porch did not work and the railing on the top bunk in the master was cracked and unsafe. The soap dispenser in the dishwasher was broken off and there was mold in the soap dispensing portion of the washer. The house was generally run down with portions of the home only partially painted. We enjoyed the outdoor space and equipment.
