Witt's Cove Landing Lakefront, cov'd dock+hot tub

New owners in the private cove behind Flat Hollow Marina nestles on the shores of Norris Lake, making tens of thousands in improvements planned for fall, winter and next season. Under new management beginning mid-august 2021, the amenities and improvements list just keeps growing! The cabin offers sleeping for 16 in 5 bedrooms. Rustic Pine with in the Great Room under cathedral ceilings makes it ideal for family reunions and gatherings of friends.

Witt`s Cove Landing offers three levels of fun plus a crows nest bedroom that`s a favorite with big and small alike. Beginning with the main floor, guests enjoy the great room, kitchen and master bedroom with king bed and adjoining full bath. The upper landing bedrooms have a queen and two twin bunks, and shares a jack and jill full bath with two sinks, and a second bedroom with queen-sized bed. The crows nest has a queen bed, while the lower level offers a laundry room, bedroom functions as a second master with queen bed, adjoining full bath and double twin bunkbed.

All bedrooms will have tasteful theme decor, comfortable mattresses and ceiling fans. Extra down comforters for winter in each closet, along with fans for summer and a couple space heaters, extra fans, and corn hole boards and bags will also be available.

Full width decks plus the front porch and separate hot tub deck, the fire pit, corn hole landing and dock invite guests to come together outside, and the family and great rooms offer great indoor space.

Located in the low-traffic, secluded cove beyond full-service Flat Hollow Marina (also under new ownership spring 2021 and vastly improved already!), past the floating houses, enjoy the wooded privacy of your own covered dock with swim platform and ladder. Further back, discover the rope swing, and just past the marina is some of the best skiing water on Norris Lake!

Wood steps from the gradually sloped gravel landing area to the water provide easy access to the dock at full pool, and one of the photos shows how it looks when TVA begins to drop the lake level. Among the many improvements for 2022 will be indoor gas fireplace, outdoor gas fire table, new lighting fixtures, new hard-lined propane grill, kayaks, re-built fire pit, and new deck furniture. We also have paved parking anywhere with ability to park 4- 5 vehicles, and a gravel pull-off for one additional!

Inside, you`ll find everything to make your stay feel like home: a fully equipped kitchen with counter bar and pull up stools; dining table (seats10). Double couches in the Main Room with large screen TV makes this a favorite gathering place. In the lower level rec / family room, you`ll find comfortable furniture, stools and a game table ready for board or card games, and a TV with DVD player.

For the more laid back, there`s also a selection of books and movies, and other amenities include dual zoned HVAC, satellite/cable; unlimited high speed Wi-fi, washer & dryer, coffee maker, pantry, iron, ironing board, hair dryers, and a first aid kit.

Sunday (3 pm) to Sunday (10 am) full week rentals all summer from Memorial Day Thru Labor Day. As few as one to three nights minimum stay in the off season. Split Firewood is available for delivery to the front door thru a local supplier with advance purchase arrangements (subject to availability and TVA not having posted a ban on burning).

Hot tub is completely drained, cleaned and re-filled between each rental.

Bring your own boats and jet skis, or rent ours. We have a 21` Crownline open bow ski boat (seats 7), 25` brand new Avalon tritoon (seats 16), and 4 Yamaha and Sea Doo jet skis (all three-seaters) available for rent in season, along with life jackets available (subject to checking sizes in advance) and lake toys, delivered to the marina, dock and/or jet ski ports upon your arrival, or meet us at a launch, depending on the property location. Restrictions on minimum days rented w/o a delivery fee do apply.
Operating instructions, safety training manual, and check-in / check-out in person with the dock guy are mandatory - minimum age 26. Ask for more details, we`re happy to provide or check out the flyer in one of the photos. First come, first reserved!

Additional List of Policies & Rules furnished with Rental Agreement - cancellation agreement supersedes Airbnb and only 1/2 cleaning fees and taxes are refundable once booked. It is also required that guests purchase a $60 damage protection plan through CSA; additional information provided upon reservation.

Rental Watercraft owned by property manager available - boat and/or jet skis delivered right to dock (separate fee applies) or to the marina boat launch a half mile away with a 2-3 consecutive day minimum- reserve in advance of your stay. Separate policies and reservation agreement will be sent upon booking.
Flat Hollow Marina, other marinas around the lake and Oasis Watersports also have watercraft rental. Recommended - Arrange boat and or additional slip rental, trailer parking and boat launch (separate fees) in advance of your stay / same time as booking the house directly with Flat Hollow Marina.
