King Street Retreat: Charming Townhouse, Great Location!

Escape to the heart of historic Beaufort in our beautifully decorated townhouse - fully updated in June 2025! Just a leisurely two-block stroll to the picturesque waterfront and a quick walk into the vibrant downtown area, you'll be perfectly situated to soak in all that this charming coastal town has to offer and convenient for those attending Marine graduations.

Our pet friendly home features three comfortable bedrooms and two full bathrooms, easily accommodating families or groups. The well-stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals.

Beyond the comfort of our home, we offer thoughtful extras to enhance your Beaufort experience. Explore the scenic streets, the lovely waterfront and Spanish Moss Trail with our two complimentary bikes, or head to the pristine beaches and iconic lighthouse at Hunting Island State Park with the provided beach pass. We also have 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach bag with 4 towels and cooler on site for you to enjoy.

The King Street House was 5 stars! A cozy little house perfect for our girls weekend. Communication was excellent from start to finish. The beds were so comfortable and the house was so quiet! Would stay here again if given the opportunity.

The perfect place!

We were in Beaufort for a wedding
 this townhome was just right
 well appointed, perfect location, very clean. We enjoyed being able to walk into town or just to the bay. Definitely will stay here again!

Great Location

The location is good. It is within walking distance to downtown. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was small but there was a group of 6 of us so it got crowded fast. We had a great time!

Property is poorly maintained, both inside and out. Photos do not accurately represent the current state of rental. Location is close to downtown. Odor of wet dog was prominent the entire stay throughout house.

Beaufort Dragon Boat Festival Weekend

Our team came from Charlotte to participate in the Beaufort Dragon Boat Festival. Several of us stayed in the townhome. It was great to be so close to everything that I didn't get in my car from the time we got here until we left for home. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We will definitely rent it again next year for the festival if it's available.

Geechee/Gullah Festival

Everything was awesome except when two couples are staying there is no public bathroom downstairs and there's only one TV downstairs. The couple staying upstairs will have to use the other couple's bathroom or go upstairs. We worked everything out.

Clean and Great Location

1219 King St in Beaufort is a great place to stay if you need multiple room options and want to be close to downtown. 2/3 bedrooms have their own shower and the entire place is clean and very home/like. The only drawback for us was the inability to block out the outside light. All the window treatments in this property were white and allowed in all the ambient light

Loved the location. House clean. Easy to walk everywhere. Only negative the grass was long up to my knees. The house had not been Powerwashed and and had mold on siding.The air conditioning worked. However no fan in bedroom on first floor. Too hot. Need to add a box fan or something.

Excellent downtown vacation stay!

Walking distance from everything in Downtown Beaufort - some socks were found under the bed that did not belong to us but everything else seemed to have been cleaned well. Definitely recommend staying at this property if you want a small tow downtown experience close to the beach!
