Great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this little cottage near the beach. We stayed for four nights and didn’t need to use our car once! Close to the beach, shops, entertainment, and restaurants.

This is the 2nd time renting this cottage with my family. We love the location, it’s just a few blocks from Fantasy Island, the waterpark, Bay Village and all the best restaurants on the island. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Good location, but small, sticky and stinky

For a couple of adults who don’t plan to spend much time inside, this might work. For a family or 4 with two small children, this was really not it. The good: great location, easy check in, good AC. The neutral: tough beds and tiny living space (especially bathroom), but could have overlooked that. The bad: the place was simply not clean. We arrived and put our 10 month old down so he could move around a little bit after having been in the car for 5 hours - picked him up five minutes later and his legs and hands were black with dirt. I mean absolutely filthy. We reached out right away via message and never heard back (not ok). We wound up cleaning ourselves (used almost an entire box of swiffer wipes and several rounds of paper towels - all of which were black with dirt) - we vacuumed, mopped, wiped down all the surfaces, cleaned the bathroom etc all before we could even unpack our stuff. In hindsight the message that was sent to us at check in stating that they “left us cleaning supplies so the next guests can have a great experience” is a lot clearer - I guess they expect each guest to clean for the next ones? Idk. Regardless, the level of grime was unacceptable. Further, there was a bad smell in the main living space that was being covered by one of those jars of scented beads that just made it worse. We had a really nice time at the beach, but we won’t stay here again. Again, maybe if I were in my 20s and just needed a cool dry place to crash out each night!

Perfect size and location

This house was the perfect size for my family. It was very clean and the host was very responsive when I reached out with questions. The best part is the location! It’s next to Fantasy Island, Bay Village, tons of restaurants and 1.5 blocks from the beach! We will definitely be staying here again!

Relaxation & Convenience

Property was spotless when we arrived, access was simple with keyless entry. Everything we needed was there for us. Location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Beach Haven. Summer 2024

This is a perfect spot if you are coming for a quick trip. It’s small, but has everything you need. It is in the perfect location you can walk or bike to anything! The communication with the host is quick and have no issues there! I did bring a few things from home just for comfort, but I literally didn’t need to bring anything. All bedding and bath towels are provided. There was one chair provided for us, not sure where the second one was, but we didn’t need it. Kitchen can fully stocked with all kitchen utensils cutlery, we did not do much actual cooking. Rooms came with bedding. Outside is the outdoor shower and a picnic table. My one and only issue with this place is the shower in the bathroom. It is so tiny you can’t move around or do much in it. And after showering the bathroom is covered in water. This would be a 5 star if the bathroom could be bigger, but other than that it was a great place for a quick get away!

Cottage at tve Shitr

Lovely cottage right in the heart of Beach Haven. Walk to the beach as well as everywhere else in Beach Haven. Great clean space - two bedrooms - we were two - but room enough for four! Nice kitchen, bathroom and an outdoor shower. Outside there is a table/benches for dining al fresco!!!

A Week Away

The house was wonderful. The location is great. It's a short walk to the beach, restaurants, market and ice cream. We didn't move our car all week. The house was extremely clean and it was really nice not bringing linens/towels. The owner was extremely accommodating with my requests. We will be back!

Quaint cottage close to beach and restaurants

We stayed here as a family of four and loved it. The cottage is comfortable and clean, and it’s close to the beach and the main street of Beach Haven. We enjoyed spending the days at the beach and then having dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants. It’s also close to Fantasy Island amusement park, which ours kids loved.
