Vernon Beautiful Beachfront Home, Couple de semaines d'été disponibles :)

Un niveau 1900 maison de plage de pieds carrés situé sur un sanctuaire d'oiseaux à la fin du magnifique lac Okanagan à Vernon, en Colombie-Britannique. Un très grand lac avec accès à Kelowna,
Penticton et par bateau.

La propriété dispose de 50 pieds de plage de sable niveau avant avec une cour pleine d'herbe qui y mène. L'eau est peu profonde leader dans le lac, ce qui est excellent pour les enfants. Nous avons mis en place une bouée pour votre bateau, ou vous pouvez louer un bateau à proximité de la marina. Trente minutes de la montagne Silver Star, pour la randonnée et le vélo en été et grand ski de la neige en hiver. Nous avons Atlantis Waterslides à Vernon pour les enfants, un casino est également à Vernon avec une galerie d'art aussi. Cedar Creek Winery surplombant le lac Okanagan, avec dégustation de vins toute l'année, et nous sommes à proximité de toutes les caves à travers l'Okanagan, y compris Mission Hill. Vingt minutes à World Famous Predator Ridge Golf Course, et à dix minutes à la nouvelle golf la hausse. Accessibilité à tout ce qui est disponible en quelques minutes. Family Vacation

The place is a little dated, but has tons of charm, and you can't beat the location! We enjoyed our stay there as a family. Our kids were so excited to be right on the beach.

This roomy beach front home is beautifully located right on Lake Okanagan. It is well-equipped with bedding, towels, dishes, glassware, kitchen appliances and deck and beach furniture. Everything was very clean. Our family had everything we needed for a comfortable, enjoyable 10-day stay.

Amazing property for kids

This is an amazing location for little kids as the water doesn’t drop off suddenly and there is lots of lawn and beach to play on. We really enjoyed our stay and thanks to the host for always providing timely responses. Much appreciated we hope to come back again!

Beach out the back door is a kids dream - its also shallow for a significant distance. The house was clean and stocked with anything we could of needed. Communication was fantastic throughout the trip as well. Wonderful place!

We loved the new bunk beds this year and so did the kids! Really appreciate all the appliances available to us, bedding, towels, etc. The water is perfect for kids and we just had a blast! Thanks for the memories!

Great beach location

This was a great property. Right on the beach with great sand and great swimming. Rooms were great and all beds were very comfortable. No concerns. Kitchen is very well stocked. The fridge doesn’t keep things super cold, and make sure to bring your own ice. No concerns with the kitchen. All living areas have lots of room. Honestly, you don’t spend a ton of time inside of your booking in the summer, but it was spacious for when we did. TV and the kids watched Netflix a few times. Outdoor space is amazing, grass area for lots of games. Sandy beach is amazing with great swimming, kids had an amazing time! Pros: - location, beach, grass area - lots of parking - spacious inside -a/c was great! Cons: - outside can get very hot and later in the day there is little shade (there is lots from trees early in day up to about 3:00) bring a shade tent and not a problem We had a wonderful stay and would recommend again.

Great location!

Excellent location and house. This place was great, grassy yard to play on, sandy beach to play on, lovely water for swimming; couldn't ask for more. House is well-outfitted. It has everything you need. It's not overly fancy, but the beds are comfy, lots of room for kids to sleep and the kitchen has all the necessities and then some. Thanks for a great stay!

Simply excellent getaway.

Our experience was superb because whenever anything was not available (previous renters misplaced stuff) Catherine and Taylor hopped on it. They would run out and buy whatever was needed. The location is spectacular and the weather perfect. Wine and cider tasting in the region were top notch. Would come back in a flash.

Wonderful Lake Front

The location of this property is really great. The big lawn gave the kids a lot of room to run and play. The private beach was really great. It really is worth the money to not have to load up a beach bag and drive to the beach. The water stays very shallow for a long way making it great for kids to play. The house is old and could use some work. We found that the kitchen and main bathroom needed a cleaning when we arrived. For the amount being charged for the stay the house should have some upgrades done. You sacrifice the house to have the great yard and private sandy beach. I would stay at the property again but would be much more likely if there were some improvements made.

Wonderful lakefront home

We do family vacation every year with another family ( generally on the Shuswap), and this was our first time staying on the Okanagan . We loved it ! The property was such a great fit for our families . The beach is basically your front yard, we spent morning, afternoon, and evening out there . We had a baby with us so enjoyed the nice mixture of sun and shade at all times of the day . Being able to keep the boat in the water our entire stay was convenient, and they are minutes away from the marina to fuel up . The house had plenty of room for the 4 adults , 3.kids. The kitchen isn't huge, but who wants to spend much time there on holidays anyways . There was lots of seating indoors and outdoors . The kids loved the built in loft bedroom ! We loved that we were minutes away (driving )from anything we needed as well. The owner David went out of his way to get the property ready in time for our holiday and his wife Catherine was very helpful and fast to respond with any questions I had . We would definitely return to this property. If you are a boating family this location is definitely ideal .

Wonderful Beach House

Being on the lake was spectacular especially for the grand kids, the sandy beach and shallow water made their day. We loved the view and it was easy to get to shopping and our wedding venue. I would recommend this rental to anyone, all the comforts of home. Owners are very nice and responded to all our questions right away. Our family will be back.

Location is great

Stayed with my girls and their husbands and children for a week. House is older and at first we were shocked but got used to it. The lawn,beach area was great. There was 1 roll of toilet paper for two bathrooms and no paper towel so make sure you bring those as we had to buy both. Should be mentioned in what to bring. No laundry soap so couldn't wash anything while there. Cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. Spider webs with spiders in them hanging from the ceiling in two bedrooms so definitely wasn't cleaned very well. I believe we left it cleaner . Main bathroom is in dire need of an update or just some maintenance. Still waiting for damage deposit. It has been 6.5 weeks now with many emails back and forth. Had to e transfer it to them but no e transfer money back. Loved the location and beach but would not rent this house again.

Thank you for your review, I appreciate all of them.The contract we had sent you which was agreed upon by the party was the deposit would be returned within 30 days. Checkout was August 8 and check was mailed Sept 12 .I was called and was not received so an EFT was done for full amount shortly after. All residents have 2 phone numbers and an email if they get there and things are missing. The maids are to put the toilet paper and paper towels and Laundry soap out when its cleaned. If its missing a phone call should be made to us upon arrival, and I have a lady 2 doors down that would take care of it within the hour. I live in Washington state , and i have a lot of people who help me there. I just need a phone call. I have spoken to the maids about this, and they have ensured me that it won't happen again. For future residents please if something is out of sorts please call. I also have 2 full bathrooms, both are work very well, and it is a cabin house setting as you can tell from the other pictures. I am sorry for the few cobwebs, and the other couple of complaints. I appreciate your input. Catherine Pothier

We have been coming to Vernon for over 20 years and have to say that the location of this property is by far the best yet! A nice long lawn leading to a nice sandy beach and the clear waters of Lake Okanagan. Close to everything we needed. We will be back!

Vernon Beachfront House

We enjoyed our stay at the listed Vernon property. The grandkids enjoyed the beach and the nearby park. The listing description was accurate. The listing photos accurately reflected the appearance of the house. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner was helpful in answering questions. I would recommend the property to friends and relatives. The property is close to various stores in Vernon.

great location unit in need of some work

This location was exceptional, beautiful beach front nice lawn and great swimming. The inside of the unit was quite dirty and the deck in need of some serious repair. All of us at one point or another managed to either fall through a broken piece or step on nails. The cleaners were not there upon our arrival, so we had a full house of dirty linens, towels and dishes. They eventually came, but it still had us doing laundry for the first day to catch up on the towels. The owner did their best to rectify that situation. The previous tenants also forgot to take out the garbage/recycling so we were also left trying to deal with that. Overall we think perhaps the unit just needs a major spring cleaning (cupboards, dishes, glasses etc.) and the deck needs some help. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The pictures are accurate.

Thanks for your review, very hard dealing with maids and clients long distance. I have switched my cleaning service, as this has happened twice, and resurfacing our deck and replacing a few boards also in April.

Great Beach house and Great Location

Have been going to this house for 7 years for 2 weeks every summer and love it. Older home, but large and close to everything. Sandy beach and wading water great for small kids. Peaceful and great place to relax. Neighbors are great too. Lots going on and very friendly.
