The twin homes can be rented separately or together for large group gatherings. Each home has a private entry and private terraces, Or, Casa Blanca can be joined for easy pass-thru by unlocking a privacy gate on the main terrace. When the gate is open, guests can easily walk between homes turning this unique floor plan into one big beach house!
Collectively the home has 7 bedrooms (each with a king bed) and 5 bathrooms. A main living space, kitchen is at street level. Two bedrooms are at street level, three bedrooms are on the second level, each with private ensuite bathrooms. There are two more bedrooms and laundry centers at street level, just off the garage.
A beautiful private outdoor space for grilling and relaxing is right off the main area. You certainly don't have to (you are on vacation!), but the gourmet kitchen will tempt you to stay in and cook while enjoying the view of the central coast mountains.
Wine tasting, biking and hiking trails, beach fun, excellent restaurants and coffee shops are all within just minutes of walking. A great park for kids with an adjoining basketball court is also close. The fall is a great time to visit for apple picking and tasting.
Day excursions to Hearst Castle or Big Sur are very doable, and will expose you to some of California's most stunning cliffs and secret beaches. Morro Bay, Cambria and San Simeon (where the elephant seals live) are all fun to explore.
The home is located in Avila Beach, just south of San Luis Obispo (SLO was voted one of the top 5 happiest cities) and nearby dozens of vineyards. SLO has the largest farmers market in California every Thursday night of the year, and Avila Beach has a lovely one each Friday night of the summer. Great shopping is all around as well as yummy seafood and all types of restaurants for every taste. If you like antiques, Arroyo Grande will delight you.
Kayaking in Shell Beach is a thrill as you paddle through caves and along the cliffs. Or, you may want to hike up Bishop's Peak or go whale watching, or deep sea fishing out of Morro Bay or San Luis Bay (near Avila Beach). Several public golf courses are nearby.
Or, you may want to just grab the beach chairs, towels and umbrella and walk down to the beach and read a good book. The options are really endless.
All of your basics will be provided. If you're renting for a week and would like a mid week cleaning that can be arranged upon request. We also have connections with a great home chef if you'd enjoy some in home gourmet food.

Do I have the home to myself? This listing is for both sides of the twin homes. Each home has a private and separate entrance. A total of 7 bedrooms, garage parking for 4 autos, 2 laundry centers, terraces that open for pass-thru between homes.
Can I rent either the 3 bedroom or 4 bedroom separately? Either the 3-bdrm or 4-bdrm sides can be rented onto themselves. These configurations have separate listing numbers.
Are the patios private? When renting either home separately, yes each home is private with no shared common areas or shared stairwells. When renting both twin-homes the privacy gate is opened for easy pass-thru between units.

This was the perfect getaway for our yearly vacation with our friends. The kids could walk to the beach and around Avila and there were restuarant options for the adults! The outside patios were perfect for our morning coffees and evening drinks. The condo was clean and had everything we needed with a great layout! We will definitely be back.

New property in a great location for a multi-family getaway
The property still feels like a fresh, newly built house. Furniture and furnishings seem modern and up to date, new and clean, without any major wear and tear. There were a few minor things like not having any available bbq grill tools (no metal spatula or tongs), a loose fitting kitchen faucet, a wobbly unstable stool that needed it's leg screws tightened, etc.... The two adjacent houses with adjacent balcony made it easy to share and divide space between multiple families.

Annual family week
This property, A&B, was perfect for our annual family vacation. There was plenty of room, the units were very clean and well stocked. It’s a short walk to the beach, wine tasting, shopping and dining. I would definitely rent again.
