Beautiful and spacious home on a private 15 ac. lake in East Texas

Here at McNutt Cabin, you will find a beautiful two story home setting on 175 ac. 5 miles southeast town. The cabin has amazing views of the sun setting on the lake every evening. You can enjoy them outside in the 2 sitting areas or from the comforts of inside at the bay of windows in the front of the house. Inside you will find a fully furnished kitchen with a 6 burner stove with a griddle, double oven, dishwasher, wine cooler. A beautiful bar that will seat 8, and a custom built dining table that seats 8. The living room is open with 2 sitting areas that is very spacious. Our bunk room is not your average bunkroom it has 6 built in queen sized bunks that are built into the wall. they also are wired with usb ports and electric plugs in ea. bunk. We have 3 other bedrooms that are huge and set up for you to relax and unwind. The bathrooms are awesome , they have custom showers and unique vanities. We also have a gameroom with a out of this world designed bar, console arcade, foosball table, and KARAOKE MACHINE!! In our utility room you will have access to a commercial ice machine and washer and dryer.

He Had a reunion at my house and rented for other purposes. He was told it would be more money to have a reunion, party, wedding etc.they had Excessive trash. I would not rent to him again.

Had an absolute blast! What a great place and great atmosphere! All you need to bring is the food and your clothes. Everything you need is there. We went for a relaxing weekend and a little bit of fishing and it exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be back very soon.!

Our family had lots of room to move about. The amenities were state of the art, the host was contactable. The location was very relaxing, the fishing was great. We were all blessed to have had the opportunity to gather at such a great home. We will be back!

Perfect Country getaway

The Mcnutt cabin is a perfect place for family and friends to gather together and enjoy one of the most beautiful spots in East Texas. The accommodations were excellent for two families and all of our children. We all caught lots of fish and enjoyed cooking on the open fire pit. Chadd the owner was great and we hope to return again soon! Mbwjr

Family Reunion

This property is perfect for a big group to have privacy. It is very spacious and the house is awesome. You literally don't need to bring anything other than clothes and food. The owner is great and communicates in a very timely manner. We did take a small kid pool for the little ones.

Beautiful home sitting on a 15 acre private lake did not disappoint! If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with no distractions this is it. Not many options for dining out close by, but some decent places to eat in Pittsburgh about a 10 minute drive.Bass fishing was good if you’re willing to walk the shore with limited access to some areas due to tall grass. I didn’t use the kayak as it didn’t have any sort of seat with back support.We will definitely return when possible! House had most all of the amenities but I recommend bringing your own supply of shampoo and bath/hand soap.

Wedding weekend

I rented this property for my family to host our very small intimate wedding. The house is huge and very clean. We were able to fit everyone comfortably and there was plenty of room for outside activities. We really enjoyed the kayaking and paddleboard. It was a gorgeous setting for our sunset wedding.

Lovely Home, Great Setting, Wonderful Accommodations!

The stay was great. The teenage boys loved the fishing (catch and release) and the kayaks. The house was beautifully decorated. Overall one of the best places we have stayed.

McNutt Cabin Family Getaway

Our stay at the McNutt Cabin was fabulous! It is absolutely beautiful! The architecture and decor were some of the best we have experienced in our many travels. Its wall of windows provided us with great views of the lake and pasturelands. Each bedroom was spacious, beautifully appointed and had such comfy beds. The kids LOVED the bunk room with 6 queen sized bunk beds and TV with DVD player. There were large TVs in the family room, gameroom, and each bedroom. The three bathrooms were spacious with large walk in showers. The mud room had lots of storage and full size washer/dryer. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen had a 6 burner gas stovetop, double ovens, refrigerator, wine refrigerator, and microwave. We loved our stay and hope to come again!
