Not one but two private balconies exist in this newly-renovated 3-bedroom penthouse condo with gulf views from 3 different rooms. You'll love the openness of this unit from the moment you walk in the front door and see all the way to the balcony. This beachfront property is located on Indian Shores Beach, between Clearwater and St. Pete Beaches just north of Treasure Island. Enjoy family-friendly pool and grilling area or step out on the white sand. Walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and local nature walk.
The space
Spacious 5th floor condo with gulf view from both balconies, located in a well-maintained community. New stove, microwave and fridge purchased in late March of 2023.
Guest access
All rooms of the condo, as well as swimming pool, back yard, and outdoor grills.

Great stay!

Condo was very nice, kitchen was well equipped. Pool was the perfect size and beach access was easy to use with a cart. Toys, towels, chairs, and a cart were there to use making it an easy travel. Owner responded quickly to any question that we had.

Great View, on the beach

Two awesome views from the 2 balconies, we wanted to try a place on the beach so we could enjoy it. This place was on the beach and not a lot of competition for sand.

This is what a Vrbo is supposed to be like!

The view is great. What a relaxing time. We brought a puzzle to work on, we read, and we hung out (both in the room and on the beach). The owner wonderfully provided a few beach chairs as well as a canopy that we could set up on the beach. The only negative was that, eventually, we had to leave.

Kitchen appliances and dishes dated. A lot of different codes and keys to keep up with. Beautiful peaceful location.

Good point on the codes. The HOA recently added a lock to the beach gate so that no one can come in from the beach without a code. We can’t change that code, but I’’m going to change the garage door code so that it matches the code to the front door of the unit. Some units at our facility only have a parking space, but we have a garage, which is why there is an extra code. I view that as a good thing. The stove needs to be replaced, which I intend to do next week when I’m there. Recent guest broke a few dishes, so I will probably replace those as well. Thanks for the feedback, Diane. I’m always striving to make the place better and simplify things for guests.

Awesome large vacation home

Tim and Gail’s beautiful condo was exactly as pictured online, only better. Steps from beautiful beach and sparkling pool. We visited during spring break week yet it never seemed crowded at the pool or on the beach Be sure to look in all the cupboards before heading out to Winn Dixie or Publix!! One of our all-time best family vacations with plenty of space for us and adult sons to “spread out”. Thank you!!! We’ll be back God -willing. ☘️ Thankyou!

Awesome views

This was our first vrbo and it was an awesome experience. The views of the ocean from living room, master and dining were spectacular! The openness of the space also made us feel so relaxed. It was nice having access to towels, etc. since we arrived on a plane. Having a choice of the beach or pool was a plus! The only thing I would say is there really isn't much to walk to in this area. I like walking but nothing to note other than a restaurant and a really cool coffee shop, called North Shore Coffee. The sun also made it unbearable to walk any distance by 10 am with a real feel of 97-102 you felt like you would catch fire! But I'll take that over snow any day. The owner could not have been any more accommodating, he was wonderful to deal with and always was prompt answering any questions. Waking up in this condo was so refreshing! The only thing I would say that needs more attention is the housekeeping company that comes in, we found a potato chip in the master bedroom on the floor when we arrived and the counter in the master was caked in hairspray. Kitchen sink and stove were not very clean and dead moths in windowsills. Floors needed more attention as well. I suspect the cleaning company knows the owners aren't around to inspect so they don't do a great job. You would not be disappointed in renting this space it was exactly like the photos. Owner is awesome 😉!

This property was amazing. It was clean, large and had everything we needed and more. Beautiful view from both balconies. The property owner, Tim, was amazing. He took care of every need we had and went above and beyond to fix a blip in the rental days. He is very accommodating and great.

Beautiful Condo

Such a beautiful place to stay! Condo was exceptional! Very spacious and great for families! Well stocked with many extras that we normally need to go out and buy when we go on vacation. I have to say, I was very impressed! Tim made it very easy to check in and gave all the information we needed for our stay. I highly recommend!!

Good location, older property

Comfortable bedding/furniture- plenty of space for 7. Older appliances/bathrooms/etc. Condo felt like it could use a refresh/updates. Nice to have garage for car. Location of building was good- being right on beach and clean, nice pool. Beach was very walkable! View from both balconies was over the next door property's pool/patio area (as depicted in photos)- but nice ocean view past that. Beach and pool never too crowded (and we were there on holiday/spring break week). A little cumbersome to use keys for all the locks around the property- but can't change that given it's a condo community. Owner was easy to work with and very responsive. He gave great suggestions for places to eat/things to do. We had a great time!

Your owner and host, Tim Hayes, is a practicing attorney living in Terre Haute, IN but also spending every January in the condo in Indian Shores. Tim an his wife, Gail, purchased the condo in April of 2021. Sadly, Gail passed away from Glioblastoma in January of 2023. They have three grown children and three grandchildren, so far! The kids, spouses, and grandkids love to visit Indian Shores from time to time. Tim’s hobbies are golf, as well as singing karaoke with his kids at Friendly Tavern. He’s a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

We randomly brought the kids to Indian Rocks Beach for a short Christmas time visit about two years prior to purchasing the condo in Indian Shores. We all loved the beach and the area. When we decided to look for our own place, this was the first area we chose. Beach Palms is a very well-run facility, and it’s not far from either TPA or St. Pete airports.

The condo has plenty of common area space, which makes for a great place for families to gather after a day at the beach.
