fully fenced Dog yard - Overlooking the Copalis River -
Take a trip back in time and stay in our 1970's beach cabin. Listen to the ocean and relax while you watch the river flow by. This 3 bedroom 1.5 bath has a fully fenced yard for your furry friends, and is only blocks from Copalis beach and Griffiths-Priday state park. Relax by the fireplace and sip your coffee while watching the wildlife playing in the mouth of the Copalis River. The Green Lantern pub (best food around!) located across the street is also dog friendly in the outdoor seating area. The Happy Heron Hideaway is located 8 miles south of Seabrook and 8 miles North of Ocean Shores. Come stay at our cabin, watch the sun set over the Copalis River and enjoy the most peaceful beach around.
We had a long weekend with family to celebrate daughterâs birthday and she has 2 dogs who had so much fun on the beach. They were totally worn out afterwards. So nice to be able to include the grand doggies. There is a hose for getting sand off boots and dogs and a shoe dryer which was a treat. We had a great time.
The home is very clean and comfortable. Everything works as it should. The view was great. It was easy to get in with the lockbox system. Thereâs a grocery store near by and also a pub. My family, our pups and I had a wonderful time.
This home was so welcoming to us as soon as we walked in. The river view is beautiful and relaxing. We loved the fenced in yard for our dogs. Close to everything restaurants, beaches, shopping. We come at least once every year from E. WA. and hope this home will be available for our next trip. We agreed this was by far the best ever for lodging. Confusion on our part at first which was quickly resolved by the owner & property manager. Embarrassing on our part but they were so nice about it, it just gives this home another plus. The dogs loved it too!
This is a beautiful, warm, inviting home to stay at while enjoying Western WA coastal life. My family felt very comfortable and are grateful for the memories. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.
This home makes a peaceful, comfortable home base for anyone hoping to enjoy many nearby natural attractions - the beach and river access is very close, as is the main square town center. The gorgeous river view is obvious in the photos, though even more beautiful in person. You can hear Pacific waves hitting the beach when you open the upstairs balcony door. The host made check-in and town navigation easy. It's easy to enjoy a stay here.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Copalis house. this year the cleaners hadn't shown up, so the house was dirty, the large burner on the stove didn't work, lots of air in the water lines, started laundry like requested and there was water all over the floor. Yard needed work. The owners are very nice though and said they would make it right. Convenient location, fenced yard is great for the dogs.
The home is a nice little spot with a great view of the estuary and really close to the beach. We saw all kinds of birds and river otters in the morning with a nice fog. Really picturesque. The only thing I would mention is the hot water tank is not too big, so the third shower of the morning may be lukewarm.
We enjoyed our time at Copalis Beach. The place has a gorgeous view and sits above a main road enough where you do not really notice it. The host communicated promptly with a couple questions that came up during our stay and was very helpful. We had read a review that advised where the pedestrian bridge which leads to the ocean is and that was helpful (the end of the street across from the Grocery Store). Thank you for a nice stay.
House was fine. Itâs from the 60s; dark wood panel walls, Ava odor sink and counters, but weâll maintained for its age. Updated fridge freezer and laundry appliances. Dog yard was well fenced and good size. Overall our stay was entirely nice. View was okay, Beaches were further away than we expected; Not in walking distance
The view of the river was amazing. Great location, just outside of town to enjoy a quiet relaxing weekend. The house fit our family perfect. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the Ocean Shores area.
We liked the location out of town and off the highway, but not too far to run to the store. The view of the river is fab - we even saw repeat visits from an otter. The space was comfortable for two teens and two adults. Fun decor blended retro and modern. Unfortunately we did not receive entry instructions on the day we arrived which caused some stress as we were traveling. The property manager was out of phone service. Fortunately we found a way to access the property; the property manager was apologetic and kind about the situation. We found a hole in the coffee pot the first morning; the property manager suggested we replace it and promptly and fairly reimbursed us. We also followed the instructions in the house manual but could not get the pellet stove to operate. The house was well-stocked with fluffy towels, has a covered porch and outdoor washing station, and has all the kitchenware you need to cook your own meals. Despite a few minor glitches, we would stay here again because it is a comfortable home.
