A cute, cozy place. You can hear the ocean from outside. It fit our family perfectly and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again .

The place was perfect. lean and neat and the Christmas tree was something we were not expecting. Close to town but far enough away that it was quiet. The dogs enjoyed their space as well. would definitely visit here again.

This is a really lovely comfortable home with great amenities like a nice kitchen, electric fireplace, laundry, comfy beds, fenced yard and thoughtful touches like dog bowls and towels for furry friends. It was perfect for us!

Blue Anchor Cottage is a great family lodging option in Ocean Shores. Clean and comfortable, excellent kitchen, nice appointments throughout, with a deck and a big, fenced yard for dogs. We were disappointed that the beach “within walking distance” was closed during our stay, but there are several delightful walking beaches just a short drive away.

This is our 4th time staying at this property. There is a reason we keep coming back. I can’t say enough positive things about this property. If you have dogs this is the place to stay!! Awesome fenced yard (no gaps) nice grassy space for the pets, as well as a nice fire pit and covered deck for you to enjoy the outside private space. The game room is pretty awesome. We enjoyed several football games and baseball games on the T.V. In the garage, and found out we have some pretty serious pac man skills on the arcade game in the garage. (I’m currently the high score holder so I can’t wait to see if someone beat me next time we visit) Beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, and the cleanliness is truly top notch. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

No microwave safe bowls and no wash cloths except 2 makeup cloths. No salt and pepper shakers.

A great place to stay, such a nice and clean house. Not far to get on the beaches. This was our 3rd time staying here. Our daughter in a wheelchair was able to get around the house with no problem, and hand held shower head in shower bathroom

Perfect for us

Very clean and comfy home. Perfect for our dogs with fenced back yard. We loved having the spacious bedrooms each with king bed. Nice corner lot with lots of light. Definitely would recommend and hope to stay here again in the future.

Perfect for a Family Getaway

We made this home for two days with our adult child and their fiancee. The layout allowed for quality together time, as well as privacy when needed. I liked the layout and we had everything required for a good time. The kitchen setup and BBQ allowed us to cook in both nights and enjoy leisurely meals. If we have (grand)children traveling with us in the future, this rental is supplied with all things child, including a PakNPlay, stroller and toys. I know that it says these things are there in the listing, however it was nice to see what was described is what we found. The mattress facilitated quality sleep and it was quiet and dark. I have turned to VBRO as my choice when traveling due to some dirty hotel rooms after COVID. This rental was clean and I appreciated that most of all! I love Ocean Shores and will seek this out as our place to stay in the future.

Perfect spot!

This house was perfect! The backyard is huge and such a plus for dogs. House was extremely clean. Beach was a short walk and quiet. Was nice to have a fire pit as well since the beach gets windy.

Second stay as good as first

We found this property last year and liked it so much we came back. It did not disappoint. Love the fenced yard for the dogs and one of our dogs likes to sit on the deck and watch over the property...out of the rain.

The perfect beach house!
