Burlap and Lace Coastal Cottages # 1

The Burlap and Lace Coastal Cottages are located right in the heart of downtown Ocean Shores. Cottage # 1 offers 2 bedrooms the first bedroom has 1 king the second has 2 queen size beds and  2 full bathrooms. 

KITCHEN- We have provided a kitchen that is fully stocked with oven, microwave, apartment size refrigerator, pots, pans, coffee maker, hand mixer, toaster, waffle maker, tea pot and the spices. 
LIVING AREA- the living room and dining area is one open space. There is a sitting area with a flat screen TV and DVD player. Please note: we do not have cable tv but we do have a smart tv screen with web access that you can use your streaming accounts. Netflix, Hulu. Etc,.)
Board games are located behind the vintage radio.
The dining area has a table with 4 chairs and a counter with 2 bar stools.
BEDROOM- the bedroom has 2 queen beds, small dresser and a chair that can be used in the dining area if necessary.
OUTDOOR SPACE-
**Please note that the outdoor space, including the hot tub, is shared with the other units if it is also booked during your stay. We have made a schedule for each room to use the hot tub at certain times so that you can have your privacy. Please check with the office for the schedule , it is also posted in each room.
There is a covered picnic table, 2 sitting areas both with chimneys  (Wood bundles can be purchased at our local IGA Grocery store. )
The BBQ is a Webber charcoal grill
There are a few yard games, including Jenga and cornhole.

The place i a beautiful and comfortable. We tried calling multiple times with no answer or voicemail to leave a message. Also sent a message on the app to try and get a 2nd key and never received a response.

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet, comfortable cottage and found it well-suited for a relaxing getaway. It had everything we needed, it was clean, and the furnishings and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub too. The neighborhood is very quiet at night. There are a few simple maintenance things they could do in the unit to improve things. Also, if you have difficulty with your legs/knees/hips, be aware that the shower is challenging to get in and out of, and there is no grab bar. There’s a small one but it’s very low—apparently for getting out of the bath, but it isn’t much help for the shower. I was also a bit put off that the owners or management never checked in during our stay to make sure everything was okay. I’ve stayed in many vacation rentals, and that’s never happened before. I don’t need anyone in my business, but a brief message halfway through to check in would have been nice.

Charming Beach Rental

Husband and I brought my 99 yr old mother for Mother's Day weekend to spend with my son. Unit was a perfect layout for us with Mom having her own "suite" with bathroom. Her section could have used a little more light to better see by and a dresser for her clothes. Our section was great, although we had to use both beds because they were up against the walls with no room for the 2nd person to get in and out. Mattresses in both units were excellent!!! Kitchen furnished with just enough equipment, although it could use a new fry pan. Adorable rental!

Comfy and convenient

This place is just as shown in the listing. It is very comfortable or 2 to 4 people. Although it could sleep up to six people, the living room would be cozy for 6. We had an issue with heat in one room and contacted host and it was taken care of immediately, so very responsive. Kitchen has basic cooking equipment and glasses and plates for 6. Small dishwasher so easy to wash and reuse. Water from tap in kitchen had an odd taste for us, so we bought a couple gallons of water for the weekend. The location is handy for the downtown area of Ocean Shores and in nice weather you could walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. It is on a quiet street so no street noise. This is second time we have stayed here and would stay again. I have no trouble recommending this as a great place to stay.

mom and daughter weekend

So comfortable, and homey feeling. Great location, could of walked to most places if not raining so hard. LOL Stocked really well, even enough wash rags and coffee pods! AMAZING! 10 out of 10 for sure!

Updates needed

You need to have a grab bar to safely get in and out of the tub. There was nothing to grab for a safe entry. Pots and pans are very old and made it difficult. cooking meals difficult.

Cozy , comfortable cottage. One bathroom had limited hot water, other one ok. No instructions on how to use DVD player. Outside key lock was difficult to use when leaving. Overall a nice place to stay.

Cute weekend get away!

Cute cosy cottage. It had everything we could have needed. Beds were super comfy everything was within walking distance. We had an amazing stay. Bring indoor shoes or slippers, flooring is plywood (sealed) but some sections were wearing down and got little splinters. But overall we will come again.

Cute Cottage

This is a lovely cottage that is conveniently located in Ocean Shores; within walking distance of several shops and restaurants. It is clean and well cared for. It is perfect size for two to six people. Master bedroom has nice sitting area; bathroom off of master is small, but adequate. There was no bath soap and I don't know if that was overlooked or always that way, so bring your own if you stay in this unit. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Winter family getaway

Escaped to the coast for a few days. We were looking for a easy walkable locations so the kids 19 & 23 could walk around and easily explore. Cute little apartment . Equipped for all cooking needs and comfy beds. We will be back.
