Located high in the forest in the heart of Mohican, this secluded 3 bed Rustic A-frame on a 22 acre private parcel, features a hot tub & fire ring surrounded by towering trees. Inside you will find a main floor Kitchen, Living Room, Bathroom and Bedroom and a second-floor lofted bedroom that overlooks the living room. The lower level has a pool table, bedroom, and a full bath.
Driveway notice: Drive way is long and steep. 4 wheel drive/All Wheel Drive is recommended in the winter.

Rustic Chalet was perfect for our family of 6. The property was clean an provided you with everything you needed for your stay and had such a cozy and warm feeling. The owner Drew was great, and responded quickly to any of my questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend this property!

The beds are very comfortable and everything was clean! We had plenty of room to spend time as a family and play a lot of board games to ring in the new year! The snow fell for much of the night and it was great to wake up in the morning to a plowed driveway. Be aware that if it is snowing you will possibly need a four-wheel drive vehicle to get up and down the hill / driveway.

We stayed at the cabin with our two dogs. The property was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and there were a lot of entertainment options like a hot tub, fire, pit, grill, pool table. It was secluded enough to feel like we were in the middle of no where with a beautiful forest in the back, but had easy access to Mohican state park. Highly recommend.

Drew is an amazing host. The house was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit, and how close to all trails for hiking.

The hot tub was nice and hot and not too far from the sliding door to go back inside on a cold night. Lots of towels provided. Liked that we could be in the hot tub and the fire was nearby. Beds were very comfortable. Close to all the places we wanted to visit.

We enjoyed our stay, the property had everything we needed, loved the hot tub. Only negitive we experienced was the loft had tons of flies. We could not find how they had gotten in and they were only in the loft.

The Relaxing Stay we Needed!

We booked this stay to get away from the craziness of our lives! But I didn’t know was that I was going to have an unexpected surgery right before our vacation. This stay was such a blessing that allowed me the time to rest and recover and allow my family the time to play outdoors and me the peaceful recovery that I needed! Everything was wonderful! The cabin was clean. And all communication was prompt!

Great Stay at the Rustic Chalet

My wife and I had a great weekend at the Rustic Chalet. The location is great, and it is very private and secluded, yet convenient to everything in Mohican.Don't let the term rustic fool you. It is a beautiful and very comfortable cabin. The views from the windows are beautiful and relaxing. THe owners obviously take a lot of pride in this property. The cabin was well supplied with everything needed for a great stay. Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen utensils etc. The hot tub was very relaxing. It was a little cold and rainy so we did not use the firepit, but we plan to come and stay here again some day and will hope to be able to use it. It is very well set up, and would be a really good time.If I was going to buy a cabin in the area, this is exactly what I would aim for. We are looking forward to stayiying here again. The host was excellent, and quickly answered any questions we had. Check in couldn't have been easier.
