Summary:

First and foremost it will be an honor for us to host one of our units and share our love for San Diego with you. We invite you to celebrate life and get to know our exquisite city. San Diego is a melting pot of cultures. Your stay is in heart of San Diego. Our apartment is a walking distance from Balboa Park, San Diego Downtown, and Little Italy. Five a minute walk to Hillcrest and a mile far from Airport. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place.



The Space:

Modern, luxurious and prime location. All three in one just for you. Open plan, with top of line full size mattress for a great night sleep. Full size bed includes a twin size trundle that can be pulled out from under the bed for extra sleeping space. Chic Boutique furniture and accessories that have been hand-picked especially for each unit’s needs. Inspired by a pronounced interior designer from our sunny San Diego. Also including a futon for extra living or sleeping space. The natural light in the unit is astonishing. Of course, if you prefer shade, we do have faux wood blinds that you can adjust to your liking. Kitchenette has a sink with a microwave and a mini fridge. Includes all dishware for up to four guests. An electric kettle is also included. The highlight of your unit is the patio. We welcome you to relax and lounge to a beautiful sunset or have your morning breakfast and coffee on the patio table.



The Neighborhood:

We are on the corner of Fir St and Sixth St in San Diego. Right across Sixth St is Balboa Park, one of the top destination attractions San Diego has to offer. You will find amazing Museums surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Walking through Balboa Park you will also find a lot of local vendors and artists. You can do your morning run at the park and enjoy Sunny San Diego. Conveniently located on sixth avenue and a CVS a block away from outside of the building. You will be within walking distance from restaurants and coffee shops.

San Diego Zoo,

San Diego International Airport

Seaport Village,

Little Italy,

Gaslamp Quarter,

and San Diego Convention Center are minutes away by car or a short Uber/Lyft ride.



Getting Around:

Having a vehicle is ideal anywhere in California but not necessary when staying at this apartment. You will find many things are at a walking distance or short Uber/Lyft ride. Electric Scooters available around the building and you can ride or walk to Downtown San Diego, Little Italy and Balboa Park Museums. The San Diego airport is 2.4 miles to our apartment, that is usually a couple minutes’ drive.

You can contact me through the Airbnb app anytime. I’m %100 here to help. I will do my best to make you feel at home. I left some chocolate and beverages in the refrigerator. Please feel free to have them.

The space was lovely and the host was very quick to respond to messages. They had office hours on property which was helpful. It is conveniently located. It was up two sets of stairs which I wasn't aware of when I rented it. It wasn't a problem for us but could be for some people.

The room was clean, safe, and right next to Balboa Park. We were also able to walk to Little Italy and the Gas Lamp Quarter. This walks were longer, but not bad if you enjoy walks. Fir and team were super responsive and easy to work with.

The host was very helpful. Lovely view of Balboa Park and the walk to the museums is about a mile. It is near the airport so there are planes flying low overhead.

Make sure to note if you have extra people. I just registered me and we had only one towel otherwise, excellent place and location. Very pretty. Pub downstairs with great burgers, beautiful park across the street m, coffee shop 4 minutes walk. Loved it.

Host was very welcoming took my bag up to my room. Room was impeccably set up, clean, and ready for my stay. The place had everything I needed: coffee and tea for me to make, a tv for me to stream my shows the one night I decided to stay in, a small toothpaste and toothbrush (especially great since I left my toothpaste home!), a perfect view of Balboa Park…I couldn’t have asked for better!

The room was nice and clean. But a little small. However, it worked well for us except for the lack of a kitchen.The hosts were very nice and accomodating. We did use the gated parking and with that and the rest of the facility, we felt very safe and secure. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Can’t say enough about how great this place is…great location. Yes, on a busy street and in the flight path but there is a curfew on incoming planes between 11:30 pm and 6:30 am. Didn’t bother me at all.

Perfect for a short visit to Balboa Park museums and gardens. Room was great, location was convenient to Balboa Park. Staff were helpful. Area is filled with homeless people, so that is something to consider. All of the parking in the area is metered and short-term, so you need to get the parking spot in the garage.

Great spot, in the middle of everything in san diego. We went to the zoo, little italy, and petco and didn’t move our car once. And parking is free on the streets around it. Would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed my stay and think this is a solid option for a solo traveler or couple looking for a place to stay while exploring San Diego.The location was great, being only a block or two away from Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, which made it easy to get around and explore. The studio had the basic amenities I needed including a mini fridge, bathroom, and coffee/tea provided.One thing to note is that it is close to the airport, so you will hear planes flying overhead. Ear plugs were provided though, which I appreciated, especially for lighter sleepers.During my stay, I did notice some stains on the futon cover, some harder stains/residue on the floor that I ended up cleaning myself, and some noticeable scuff marks on the walls. Besides from those things, my experience overall was positive.If you’re looking for a simple place to stay in a convenient location and mainly need a comfortable place to sleep and explore from, this is a reasonable option.
