Host was very attentive and answering questions quickly. The apartment was clean and had everything needed for a multi day stay. It’s a very relaxing place and enough space to stretch out or to have some privacy. I would say here again if I have a need for a multi day trip back to San Diego.. Thank you for a great experience.

Very nice and clean. We felt safe with gated entrance. Nice and quiet. The limited street parking was very difficult. We often had to park a block or so away. We did not realize that it was a Keurig coffee pot with only three coffee pods for our three day stay. We had brought our own coffee with no way to use it. Maybe offer a reusable pod for regular unflavored coffee.

Where to begin. This host deserves to be banned from VRBO. She had the nerve to claim that she had no idea that the city was digging up the street right in front AND that they would be digging up the common area right outside the front door to put in new water lines DURING MY STAY!!! The neighborhood was of ramshackle homes, stray dogs and cats, and NOWHERE NEAR BALBOA PARK! She singlehandedly made me rethink ever renting from VRBO again.

Hi David, I’m truly sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations. I understand how frustrating unexpected city construction nearby can feel during a stay. The work being done on the street and surrounding utility areas was city-managed and unfortunately outside of my control, and I did my best to communicate and accommodate guests as updates became available. I also want to respectfully clarify that the listing does accurately state the home is located in San Diego near Balboa Park and downtown areas, and many guests have enjoyed the location and stay experience overall. I always strive to provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest, so I’m saddened to hear you left feeling this way.
