Stunning lakefront home with 270° water views and private beach near Acadia

This beautiful, sun filled lake house is perfect for families and groups looking for the quintessential 4 season Maine getaway. Whether you spend the week looking out over the water, canoe and kayak around pristine Green Lake, or venturing out to nearby Acadia National Park or the Waterfront Concerts in Bangor you are sure to love this unique and accessible spot.

We have recently renovated the home and are excited to share this lakeside gem with guests. There are three bedrooms, two full baths, a full kitchen and plenty of space for groups of up to 11 to spread out and enjoy the lake life. In addition to the king, queen and full bed in the upstairs bedrooms, our owners apartment can be made available for groups larger than 6. The newly renovated walk-out features a queen bed, single bed and sleeping sofa, as well as a full bath and kitchenette. The walk-out is perfect for grandparents, friends or as a "kids apartment".

Depending on your group and occasion, please feel free to reach out and discuss alternative arrangements, we will do our best to accommodate your trip depending on season and availability.

Parking is available next to the main entrance of the house and on a gravel parking area at the entrance of the property. Therefore, you could easily park 4 cars on the property during your stay.

There are absolutely no animals (including service animals) and no smoking allowed.
As we have a septic system, please throw only septic-safe toilet paper (provided) down the toilet system, absolutely no sanitary items, wet-wipes, paper towels or oil (especially in the kitchen).

Beautiful lake setting

We had a fabulous stay at this lakeside home! The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. We had plenty of activities to keep us busy with the paddle boards and kayaks. The Adirondack chairs on the dock provided a great spot to get together for conversation and laughter. The firepit was nice in the evening for cooking smores. We spent a day in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, which is a quick and easy drive from Green Lake.

Loon Lounge is absolutely AMAZING!! The views of the lake are breathtaking and can be enjoyed from every room. The house was spotless and had all the amenities we could have hoped for and more. It was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate four generations of our family. The layout made it easy for everyone to have their own space, yet still come together in the large gathering areas. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and sharing meals, and the numerous bathrooms made everything so convenient. The owners were incredibly attentive and made sure every need we had was met. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Beautiful Stay by the Lake

The property was beautiful and perfect for our group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). The kids loved playing games, going kayaking with the adults and fishing right from the backyard. The property is about 45mins from Acadia National Park and we loved driving down for some great hikes in the park. The owner was easy to contact to resolve any small issues we had during our stay. I would highly recommend this property for groups big and small.

Beautiful lake house on quiet lake

We really enjoyed our stay this week on Green Lake. The house had the most breathtaking views, plenty of space for everyone and the water was clean. Any questions we had the host was quick with responses. Thank you! We look forward to coming back again another year!

Beautiful house and property

We stayed with 8 family members. The house is charming with a gorgeous view. It is very clean. We loved being able to swim, kayak and paddle board. We spent a few evenings around the fire pit watching the moon rise. Really a great place for a group. Our youngest was 18 and our oldest was 81. The house suited all of us.

Great waterfront stay for our family

This property suited our family extremely well especially with the apartment downstairs. We set the crib up in there with my brother, his wife and their newborn and it was great for them to have privacy as us upstairs two levels to have sleep! The kitchen was well stocked with supplies to be able to cook for a bunch of people. The waterfront is really pretty and you can take it in from outside or the every season porch. The wifi is probably the only thing lacking, it wasn't really strong enough for me to work remote unless I was extremely close to the router in the front foyer. Thanks again to our friendly host who was only a few houses away for anything we needed.

A Wonderful Maine Getaway!

What an amazing location for our annual family gathering this year! The home was charming with a warm cottage atmosphere and situated right on beautiful Green Lake. It was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and offered our family the opportunity for their own space to spread out - 7 adults and 3 kids (4 and under). The setting on the lake is spectacular and we enjoyed swimming, kayaking, tubing, fishing, and relaxing by the fire pit. The property was well equipped with kitchen items, linens, water gear equipment
everything we needed. The owner was extremely helpful prior to and during our stay with quick responses to any questions and helpful guidance to attractions in the area. We will certainly enjoy our memories of our family gathering at this special Maine spot for years to come
and hope to return sometime in the future! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Siblings trip

We really enjoyed your house. We spent a lot of time on the front porch. Your kitchen was very well supplied with dishes and cookware. Your nice serving trays and dishes helped make our meals look very nice, (we sisters like to serve food in nice dishes)A coffee butler would have been appreciated, we have lots of coffee drinkers in our family. We loved to look out over the lake and enjoy the beauty of nature,God’s creation! We have some birders in the family so they had their binoculars out scouting the lake. We heard the loon call the first morning.Thanks again for letting us make memories at your house. Marlene

My family and I are excited to be able to share this amazing spot with visitors from around the world and hope that you will enjoy Green Lake, Acadia / MDI and the entire Downeast area as much as we do.

Our extended family has vacationed around Green Lake for over 100 years, and we were so excited to find a place of our own just around the corner from our extended family cottage. This house is one of 3 that was owned by another family, our grandparents were close friends, and we spent over 2 years completely renovating and updating all houses to create spaces that can be enjoyed for generations to come.
