Imagine waking up to the fascinating and ever-changing tidal views of Egypt Bay, on the Mount Desert Narrows, from the comfort of one of six beds you choose to make yours. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea lounging on one of five decks overlooking the water. Grab a book and stretch out in a hammock on the rocky ledge above the bay. Give your body the movement it craves on our waterside yoga platform or hop in a kayak and paddle to one of the nearby islands as the resident Bald Eagles soar overhead. Eagle’s Eyrie offers a private and serene escape where you can find adventure, reinvigorate your senses, and rediscover your connection to nature.

This was out second time being hosted by Jocelyn and we were again very house with our stay. We loved the spaciousness, the cozy fireplace, the complementary blueberry wine and jam, and the fact that we could bring our fur babies with us. We hope to be able to stay longer next time!

WOW WOW WOW! What a beautiful property with an incredible view. Jocelyn was an incredible host and provided all sorts of added amenities that were thoughtful and absolutely above and beyond. Our entire family (and 30 pound rescue dog) had an amazing time. We would absolutely stay here again.

The location was absolutely perfect! We all slept really well every night, with the smell of ocean air the light breeze cool morning warmed up to 74 every day with sunshine could’ve asked for a better trip we loved going out for coffee in the morning sitting in the Adirondack chairs right on the Waters edge, watching seagulls, saw an eagle a couple of times, seeing the tide come and go out. It was a magical experience.

Better than I thought, cannot recommend this property and the hosts enough. Only thing worth noting, is you're somewhat close to the highway nearby, so there is some road noise for those that are sensitive. Not a problem for us, and again, this place was better than we expected. Will be coming back next ME visit if they'll have us!

Incredible property and just as described! Every detail was attended to including firewood, beach towels, game room, hot tub, kayaks, hammocks, coffee, and s’mores kit. The location is outstanding and it was fun to watch the tide roll in and out. Jocelyn was super attentive and you can tell she really cared about making sure everything was perfect.

This place was an absolute gem! It was like a dream come true for relaxation. The host was super attentive and made sure everything was spotless. Breathtaking stay!

Our stay at the Eagle’s Eyrie was absolutely incredible and truly one of the best experiences we’ve had. Jocelyn and Ryan were wonderful hosts who were quick to respond and answer every question we had leading up to our trip. The home was immaculate upon arrival - exactly as shown in the listing! Wish we had stayed longer!

Perfect Maine getaway

This property was even better than advertised! A quiet oasis along the water that is well isolated from the road and other houses. Close enough to spend time in Acadia and Bar Harbor but enough amenities at the house that you may want to just stay home some of the days. The host was incredible with communication and made sure that we had anything we needed during our stay. Home was set up with extra touches (s’mores kit, local food/drink items, toiletries, etc)- very welcoming for adults, children and pets. My family had an incredible vacation and would absolutely recommend this property :-).

Wonderful stay in Hancock

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking, using the hot tub, playing ping pong and the arcade game, and making s'mores at the firepit. We went to Marlboro Beach and Lamoine Beach many times since they are nearby. We saw eagles and ospreys from the house and we had a fantastic porcupine sighting in the yard. Our kids loved the house because of all the fun things to do, plus each of them had their own room with a tv! Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Overall it was a great vacation and everyone in our family enjoyed it.

Gorgeous setting

The point of land where the house is located is so beautiful, like you're in a secluded park. The house has tons of light making the view amazing from the coziness of the house even when it was snowing or raining. Lots of details like integrating the granite ledge into the house foundation on the lower level. Very thoughtful.

Magical experience

This was absolutely the most beautiful stay away from home we have ever had. Jocelyn is a thoughtful host and has carefully designed the home to be a peaceful retreat in the lap of luxury. The hot tub, yoga deck, kayaks, along with the view had us in peaceful bliss. All the extras provided (blueberry wine, dog biscuit, handwritten card, cooks kitchen, etc) made the stay extra special. Great place for a family or friend retreat!

Couldn’t have gone better!

This property was perfect for my family of 7. The first night the kids were out on the kayaks, while we enjoyed the great views. The large indoor and outdoor space allowed everyone to have their space when needed. The drive to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor was easy. We would definitely come back and recommend this property to all others.

AMAZING & BEAUTIFUL

We are a family of 8 with kids ranging from 12y/o - 10 months old. The house was amazing , roomy , very clean and very inviting the amenities were awesome. The property was very clean and taken care of nicely . Just far enough away for nature and being peaceful and being on the water but close enough to key cities esp Bar harbor & Arcadia park. We highly highly recommend. We wished we booked longer this was absolutely an amazing stay and we will be staying here again come next year.

5 Stars – Perfect Coastal Getaway!

We had an unforgettable week at this beautiful home on the coast of Maine. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The house was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could have needed—and then some!Our 3-year-old son was in heaven with all the toys provided. It was such a relief as parents to have plenty to keep him happily occupied, both inside and outside. The kayaks were a huge hit for us—the perfect way to enjoy the stunning coastal views and peaceful surroundings. We also loved the selection of board games for cozy family evenings.One of our favorite touches was the fully stocked coffee bar. It made our mornings extra special as we sipped our coffee while looking out over the water.This home truly has something for everyone, and the hosts have gone above and beyond to make it welcoming for families. We can't wait to come back!

Incredible Family Stay with Thoughtful Hosts

We had an amazing stay with our two teenagers (ages 14 and 16) and two small dogs. The house was spotless, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. There was something for everyone - our kids loved the game room, kayaks, and fire pit - and the hot tub overlooking the water was the perfect way to unwind each evening.What really stood out was how our hosts went above and beyond. They proactively reached out and arranged for a second kayak rental to be delivered during our stay so I could go out on the water with my son - an unexpected and incredibly generous gesture. It’s rare to experience that level of care and responsiveness.The views, the peaceful setting, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return and would recommend this home without hesitation!

AMAZING! Waterfront! Clean home and great host!

Jocelyn and her husband’s place was amazing. The house was clean, they thought of everything you might need while away and they had it there for you. They even left a treat for everyone in the family. Jocelyn was super responsive and provided our family great recommendations for entertainment and food while we were there. Above all the location of the home was amazing, great views of the water from every view, hammocks to relax, fire pits, kayaks and a hot tub outdoors. The kids also loved the game room with basketball, ping pong, and arcade. The location was only 20 min for us traveling from the airport and no more than 40 min in town to go to Acadia and Bar Harbor area. I highly recommend staying here, it is a wonderful place to unwind and relax!

Relaxing, rejuvenating, and maybe too comfortable?

Stayed here for a week with my family (children age 2-11) and was completely blown away. We were provided with all the amenities we could have hoped for. Hot tub was clean and easy to operate, game room had arcade games and ping pong for the children, and was its own little escape with a rock wall the kids could boulder around and climb on. While we had Intended the cabin to be comfortable and a nice home base while we explored Maine and Acadia, it was possibly TOO comfortable?! It was hard to convince the kids to leave such a comfortable and relaxing place with no shortage of things to do. Kayaking was great, although watch out for getting caught at low tide when you can’t get back to the house. Hammocks were hung, fire pit well stocked with wood and starter,. Honestly everything felt like it was thought of, and even had a welcome basket prepared. Truly deserving of a 5 star review across the board!

Beautiful location!

The house is beautiful, very clean and well stocked with just about everything you could think of needing. I love that all 9 of us could fit at the dining room table for dinner, a rare find in a house that sleeps so many! The coffee and biscotti were a nice treat! My sister and I loved having a quiet morning coffee together in the chairs on the cliff watching the sunrise. It was my favorite place! We had a bit of adjustment getting used to the tides and the length of time without water, so make sure to consult the tide schedules and plan activities accordingly. The kayak trips out to the Islands were awesome! The location was close to a number of sightseeing places. We were able to visit the Tidal Falls Preserve at different tidal times it was so close. We traveled into Bar Harbor and took a whale watching tour, seeing numerous whales, porpoises ,sunfish and seals. We spent quite a bit of time in Acadia National Park during the week too. The view from the top of Cadillac Mountan was amazing! Don’t forget to try the pie at Mount Desserts! So good!
