This family home in Kanab boasts 5 bedrooms, 2 living areas, a back deck with BBQ, TV, and some fun games for all to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking great meals, or you're close to restaurants in town. After a day of visiting Zion or Bryce, savor your favorite drink on the front porch and watch the world go by. Don’t be surprised to see deer or rabbits wandering past! (Garage is for owners' use only.)



The Space:

Family vacation ready! Desert Breeze offers 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, spacious living areas on both floors, a loft, a private backyard, and outdoor relaxation spots such as a furnished deck. All of that, and it's just minutes from downtown Kanab.



The upstairs living room features a couch, chairs, tables, and a TV.



The downstairs living room features a large sectional couch, wood burning stove, bookcase, and a TV.



The fully equipped kitchen is on the main floor and includes a Keurig coffee machine with coffee pods. Kitchen items include a blender, toaster, baking dish, muffin tin, cookie sheets, pizza pan, hand mixer, roasting pan, pots, pans, and utensils. With a large table and countertop seating area, you'll have plenty of space to dine in style.



The master bedroom is on the main floor and features a plush queen bed and storage area.



There is an ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom that can be shared with the loft bedroom. It's a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. We provide body wash, shampoo & conditioner.



The loft bedroom is on the third floor and features a deluxe king bed, dresser and nightstands.



The three remaining bedrooms are downstairs.



Bedroom 1 features a fun twin bunk bed with both a ladder and a slide coming down from the top bunk.



Bedrooms 2 & 3 both feature comfy queen beds, dressers and other storage areas.



There's also a fun play kitchen area for kids downstairs.



The downstairs bathroom is a full bath with a double vanity and a shower/tub combo. We provide body wash, shampoo & conditioner.



There's a laundry room on the main floor with a full-capacity washer & dryer, and we provide you with detergent and fabric softener.



Craving some fresh air? Take your meals outside to our awesome back deck and fire up the grill for a delicious barbecue. The fenced backyard is perfect for relaxing, playing, or just soaking up the sun. And when the day winds down, cozy up by the fire pit or watch a movie on the deck's large flatscreen TV.



Desert Breeze is approximately 3400 sq. feet. For the safety of our guests and our home, there are security cameras around the perimeter of the house.



Guest Access:

Keypad lock to open the door. We will send you a private lock code prior to your reservation. ►Garage is for owners use only. Please only park in the driveway and directly in front of the home. The vacant lot next to the home belongs to the neighbors and needs to be left open and accessible to them. Please do not park in front of any trash cans that have been pulled out next to the street as the garbage truck needs to have access to them.



The Neighborhood:

Centrally located in the heart of Kanab, yet nestled in a quiet, tranquil, friendly neighborhood. Enjoy Kanab hiking trails, restaurants, and gift shops all located within 5 minutes!



There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.



Equestrian and biking trails are also available.



Getting Around:

This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.



Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.



Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date.



For the safety of our property and our guests, we have cameras around the perimeter of the property. Some of the cameras are monitoring the front/back door as well.

Yard care is every Monday from 9 to 11AM.

Kanab is situated in the "Grand Circle" area and known as the "Hub of the Parks", centrally located among Zion National Park (30 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (77 miles), the Grand Canyon (North Rim - 80 miles). You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (21 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (15 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (77 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (20 miles), Kodachrome Basin (93 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (75 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (50 miles), Horseshoe Bend (77 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (65 miles) and so much more. Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles.
