This gorgeous, amazing 10 bedroom home is located in southern Minnesota, near Mankato, one hour from the US bank Stadium, Mall of America and the MSP Airport. It has 150 feet of sandy beach on crystal clear spring fed Lake Francis, a 900 acre, fantastic fishing lake! A 24 foot Crest pontoon with 110 hsp motor is available to rent for $1199.00 per week. Enjoy catching Walleye, Sunfish, Crappie, Bass and Northern. Fishing polls are provided. The Lake is also a great recreational lake! Enjoy swimming, boating, floating (provided), tubing(provided) and more. This mansion has 8 bedrooms in the house a murphy bed in the exercise room (a legal bedroom), and one more in the cabana or guest house sleeping 21 In jthe summer. After September the guest house is winterized and not available. In the winter It sleeps 18. The home has a total of 7 bathrooms. The fireplace is hand made and is the focal point of the great room. It reaches 36 feet tall to the top of the beamed cathedral ceilings. The other side of the great room boasts a wall of windows facing beautiful Lake Francis. Spectacular views can be seen from them! This room has a 32 inch flat screen TV with surround sound. Also a closet full of board games. One of the porches holds a full size shuffle board game. The man cave has a flat screen curve TV for your viewing pleasure and a large U shaped couch. The downstairs master bedroom has a queen hand carved bear bed with it's own private half bath and a 42 inch flat screen TV. Across the hall is a very large master bath with double sinks and a triangular corner tub. The dining room contains a beautiful oak pool table and a touch screen game. The very large modern kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a double oven, microwave, refrigerator, dish washer, and built in stove. Available in the pantry are many small appliances including a mixer, air fryer, crock pots, George Foreman, blender, air popper, Pizza Pizzazz, Mr Coffee, deep fryer, ice cream maker and more. The center of the kitchen is a large granite island with 10 bar stools surrounding it. The main floor laundry is complete with washer, dyer, iron, and iron board. There is an extra full size refrigerator and freezer in the hall way leading to the basement. The beautiful finished basement holds a variety of surprises. The granite bar seats 8. It has a sink, refrigerator, 52 inch flat screen TV, and microwave. The room has air hockey and foosball. In the hall way sits a variety of kids things such as a high chair, swings, jumpers, walker, booster seat, strollers, and riding toys. The basement play room has so many toys they can't all be listed. There is a stage for the band instruments, a stage for modeling the wide selection of stylish dresses and jewelry, Tommy the Train, a Lego block table, a fully equipped desk, and a play house with shopping area, work bench, equipped kitchen, and a loft with slide. The next room in the basement is a special treat for the children. Its a ball room with tunnels, jumping trampolines, basketball hoop and many many brightly colored balls. The next room in the basement is for the adults. It's a complete exercise workout room. It includes a treadmill, work out bench, crunch chair, elliptical, and free weights. This room also has a queen size murphy bed and doubles as another legal bedroom. The basement also has one of the 7 bathrooms. Going up the open wood staircase to the upper level the first room you reach is the master bedroom with a king size Cleopatra style bed. The balcony has spectacular views of the yard and Lake Francis. The attaching full master bath has double sinks, a makeup settee and a large Jacuzzi tub. Down the hall from there is the blue room which has a wood carved king bed with an attaching full bath and it's own balcony. Just further down the hall way is a another up north themed king bedroom with another breath taking view of Lake Francis off it's balcony and an attaching full bathroom. Next to that bedroom is a smaller bedroom with a queen bed. A whole new world is at the end of the hall in the west wing. A second living room or great room with three bedrooms adjoining it. One is a king with bunk beds.. The second is a queen . The third is a king bed. The cabana or guest house is a full cabin with a kitchen, full bath, and bedroom with a double bottom bunk and a top single bunk. The yard is a wonderful game place. Available games are Bean Bags(Corn Hole), Polish Golf, Hammer Schlogan, Crockett, Boccie Ball and Ring Toss. Near by snowmobile trails make this a winter haven. Ice fishing is fantastic on Lake Francis! There are many winter activities around the area such as Ice fishing, snowmobiling, ice skating, cross country skiing and sledding. Down hill skiing is 20 miles away at Mount Kato. During the summer the lake offers fishing, skiing, tubing, boating, swimming and much more. The state bicycle trail goes right through town and two adult bikes and four children's are furnished. There is a canoe and 2 kayaks available for use. Remember to wear your life jackets. A playground owned by the lake association is next door. Relax on one of the 4 decks. Grill on the gas or charcoal smoker grill. Fry up your fresh fish in the outdoor or indoor deep fryers. Have a campfire and roast some marshmallows at the fire pit. Wood is provided. Relax in the screen porch and enjoy the propane fire pit. The small town of Elysian is one mile away. It boast of 5 bars and 3 restaurants. There are two gas stations with mini marts also in town. There is a 8-12 person 24 foot Crest pontoon with a 90 horse Evinrude available for an additional $1199. It includes a full tank of gas, life jackets, and lake floaties.
