Offering a convenient mother-in-law suite, this home has two kitchens, two living areas, and tons of places to relax and enjoy your time at the beach!

A handsome brick entryway leads up to the main level of the home, where you'll find the main living area, two dining areas, and the fully equipped kitchen. Wood-paneled walls, hardwood floors, and elegant décor give the living space an upscale feel, with lots of plush seating on tan sofas. A flat screen TV invites you to kick back with your favorite movies and shows when you're not relaxing out on the shore!
The fully equipped kitchen offers all you need to make your own refreshments, from casual bites to carefully prepared family dinners. In the living area and dining area, you'll find glass doors that lead out to the back deck and screened in porch, where you can lounge and relish the coastal weather.
Journey to the front area of the home and you'll find the mother-in-law suite, which creates a convenient space that feels like a second home entirely! It's a terrific layout for multiple families, or for big reunion vacations where the kids can take one side and the adults can claim the other. The mother-in-law area offers two bedrooms that share a Jack-and-Jill style bathroom—one room offers two twin beds, while the second room is furnished with a king-sized bed. As an extra perk, both rooms have TVs!
In the rear of the home, you'll come across the other three bedrooms, each with a convenient variety of sleeping arrangements. One room offers two twin beds, the second a king bed. The master suite has all the plush amenities you'd expect, with a king-sized bed, flat screen TV, and an en suite bathroom with a shower-tub combo.
The master has a bonus den with a queen sofa bed, which has a door that leads out to the back deck. Outside, a wide expanse of green lawn beckons you to soak up the sunshine.
*Please note: Fireplace is not a "working" fireplace. The flue is closed, please do not use.
This property includes a $250 credit to order beach gear when you book a stay between 3 and 14 nights!! There are many options to choose from including bicycles, beach chairs, beach carts/wagons, coolers, umbrellas, beach games, kayaks, paddleboards, etc.! Our partnered company, VayK Gear, will contact you 45 days prior to your arrival so you can place your order and they will deliver all equipment to your rental property. Just another added bonus for booking through Carroll Realty to enhance your vacation experience.
A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 5 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 25 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $1000 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.
ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.

Beautiful home! Very short walk to quiet beach, kitchen appliances and dishes very well stocked! There were 10 of us from an infant to grandparents, amazing stay for all of us, we would love to go back!

We enjoyed our off season stay.
Pros: Great location away from town, easy access to the ocean, and beatutiful views.
The house is comfy and has spaces to both congregate and seperate. Perfect for relaxing.
Cons: Updating to kitchenware and appliances is needed.

We really enjoyed the location and the interior and outdoor spaces (4-5 stars). The kitchen(s) is(are) poorly equipped, they and the bathrooms are really dated (2-3 stars). The furniture coverings are stained (1-2 stars). Would rent again for our purpose (guys weekend), I would not bring my family.

Thank you for the comments. We have replenished kitchen supplies and steam cleaned the chairs and couches. The bathrooms are what they are - and are as pictured in the listing. We have also purchased brand new furniture - lounge chairs, adirondack chairs, and side tables for the back deck and a new comfy teak couch w/cushions for the screened in porch! (will update pictures soon of new furnishings!)

Pleasant Beach Access and Space
This house offered great beach access and spacious areas for our group. We much enjoyed the screened in porch and view. We traveled here for a wedding, and had plenty of space to spread out and visit with our relatives. The younger adults in our group liked having their own area in the separate living quarters at front of house. The kitchen was completely adequate for our cooking needs. The house seemed very clean, there were no odors, and the pictures accurately represent the house and its furnishings. Our group had fun and would rent here again!

89th birthday celebration
We rented this house to allow family from three states to gather to celebrate my father’s 89th birthday. He lives nearby in Mount Pleasant. Although it was November and never got above 60 degrees, my son and grandson had great fun frolicking in the ocean while the rest of us walked the beautiful beach. Location was excellent. Realty company prompt about correcting our one concern. A+

Please note: Carroll Realty is the property management company chosen by the homeowner and requires that their rental agreement be signed prior to occupying the property. This agreement will be sent after a reservation is made along with other helpful rental info for your stay. Cancellation Policy: Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select. If accepted, the 10.8% travel insurance plan must be paid in full within 14 days of making a reservation or you may add the 7% plan up until 30 days prior to your arrival date or final payment is paid, whichever comes first. Travel insurance covers every guest scheduled to come on the trip. Please call us for more information or visit our website for detailed plan information. Upon arrival, if you do not accept the unit you have reserved your deposit will be forfeited.
Power/ weather related cancellation: Carroll Realty does not issue refunds due to acts of nature such as: weather, road conditions, snow conditions, power outages, or forest fires. Additionally, Carroll Realty will not issue refunds in the event of a pandemic (for example, Covid-19) or acts of nature such as a hurricane. In light of these events, we strongly urge every reservation to purchase one of the two travel insurance plans that we offer. Hurricane season technically runs from June through October, but is especially more prone to occur in our area from late August through early October.
