A-frame cabin features 1,200 square feet of cozy living space. You'll feel miles away In the Black Hills National forest all tucked away in the woods and hidden by towering pine trees.
The cabin is centrally located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and is a perfect lodging location while visiting Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument, Devil's Tower National Monument, Hill City 1880 Steam Train, Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Historic Deadwood and Rapid Creek fly fishing for browns and rainbows located just below Pactola Reservoir. The cabin is located among the pine trees on Edelweiss Mountain (5800 ft elevation) just twelve miles north of Hill City South Dakota and four switchback country miles off of the Scenic drive of U.S. Highway 385. The cabin is located within minutes of Pactola Lake, the Mickelson Trail, and the Centennial Trail. Situated in a quiet wooded area, the picturesque property is surrounded by acres of pine trees, offering ultimate peace and relaxation.

Please note: Three switchback country miles off of U.S. Highway 385 to cabin location.
There is ample parking for vehicles and trailers, so bring your ATV's or rent from one of the many local vendors in Hill City. There are endless ATV/UTV trails right off the property!

We fished for four days and were close to Pactola lake. Nice to relax in a mountain setting.

Very quiet location!
It was a great property! We enjoyed the quietness!! Spent most of our time outdoors on the deck enjoying the forest like surroundings. Definitely met our needs! Would recommend this property to others!

Very nice out of the way cabin
We very much enjoyed staying here. It is a bit out of the way, but the roads are well maintained. If you want your vacation to include some quiet relaxation this is a great choice. If you like being in the middle of the action maybe not.
The cabin is rustic enough to feel like a cabin but modern enough to be comfortable.

Black Hills Family Trip
Loved the location and the property was clean. Inside was a little dark, maybe more overhead lights. Would maybe suggest another couple fans as it got hot upstairs. Overall would stay there again.

Great cabin!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Deck was perfect for enjoying quiet evenings while grilling as well as morning coffee. Cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed - we only had to bring our groceries. We had a question about the internet and the owner responded within minutes.

We loved everything! The cabin was cute and roomy enough for my kids and grandkids. The deck was great for spending time outside and watch the grandkids run around the property. Short drive to Black Hills attractions.

Loved it
We really enjoyed the cabin and all of the room. We liked sitting on the deck! We also loved there were movies to watch at night. The communication with the owner was great!

Great location and home.
Plenty of space for my family of 6. 3 adults, 2 teenagers and three adults. You are in the mountains and you really get the feel of the black hills. Would 100% stay here again. Michael was responsive to all my questions.

Beautiful location. The deck railing is not suitable for small children and the upstairs bathroom will not accommodate adults due to the ceiling height.

Thank you very much for staying with us as it was a pleasure. The cabin is in a beautiful location in the Black Hills National Forest, and we love to share it with our guests. You can relax in peace on the deck and yet go out and explore the nearby attractions and activities. The A-frame cabin has a wide bottom floor and is narrow on the second floor due to the design of an A-frame cabin. The upstairs bathroom is perfect for our grandchildren, and they love the sleeping loft! Happy Trails to you and your family!

Exactly what we were looking for!
Such a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location! We had a wonderful and comfortable stay and enjoyed all the things this cabin had to offer. Quiet despite having other cabins nearby and we loved sitting on the porch in the morning watching the squirrels and listening to the birds.
When I had questions for the host, I received a quick response! We would definitely stay here again!
