Welcome to our waterfront retreat. Enjoy the peaceful quiet setting . You can surely get that ahhhhh moment relaxing on the back porch with the water just a few feet away. Take the opportunity to sit on the pier at night and enjoy the breeze blowing across the lake. Bring the kids and fish from the pier, swim, and bring along your kayak or use one of ours(bring your own life jackets)and enjoying great paddling right in front of the house. The slow sloping, smooth sandy bottom, is ideal for kids who love the water. Pull your boat up to the pier and enjoy the entire lake. Bring your jug lines and fill up on catfish. You'll find a fish cleaning station on the covered patio. Pellet smoker/gas grill combo awaits on the back porch. Two queen beds and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is a queen and a twin inflatable mattresses available if needed. Be sure to check out the updates that we have done. The cabinets and countertops have been updated throughout the house. The big addition is a new sun deck and french doors accessing the deck from the 2 lakeside bedrooms! For those that just have to have a television during their getaway, we have wifi and a large screen tv in the living room, tv in two bedrooms, dvd player and a large selection of dvds. I'll be glad to provide as much information as I can about the excellent fishing, local bait shop, catching your own bait, local grocery store and more.

Thank you for writing a review. I’m sorry to see that you were somewhat disappointed by noting that the place needs some TLC. You are correct though. This is a work in progress. I have upgraded a lot of things but there is a constant battle with maintenance and needed improvements. I hope you come again sometime.

We enjoyed a family visit! Fished but it was super hot so fishing wasn't great but that's ok. We grilled and sat around and visited alot and relaxed. There are corn hole boards but again, the heat drove us to the porch for an adult beverage. There are also new kayaks - bring your own life vest! Be aware there are no ceiling fans on the outdoor porch but there is a large shop fan.

Elechia thank you for writing some details in your review and I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. It’s to bad that the heat wave slowed your outdoor time so much. I had to quit repairing and/or replacing ceiling fans after the 4th set in 4 years due to storm damage and resorted back to the fan on the stand.

My husband and I were there for our 25th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the peaceand quite. We caught a few fish. The house was very clean and beautiful. The yard was well kept. I will be back again.

The sunrise and sunset views are beautiful. There is plenty of room to visit with family and friends. The outside deck has wonderful views of the lake. We had our dog with us. There is a gated pen in the yard with shade. The neighborhood is very quiet and the roads are easy to walk your dog on. All the bedrooms are upstairs. 2 of the rooms have French doors which open up to another wonderful deck. There is plenty of room to cook in the kitchen and the refrigerator has plenty of room for food. Our only issue was the stairs. All of us are in our mid to late 70's, 2 with hip replacements last year. There is a partial railing on only 1 side of the stairs, which was difficult for us to maneuver. The other side of the stairs has trim. Fortunately, there is a half bathroom downstairs.

Despite the bad weather, we had a great time there. When it finally warmed up, caught a six pound blue cat, a pretty nice sized gaspar goo and a bunch of little channel cats.

Robert was generous and forthcoming with the info needed for our stay. Don’t let the outside appearance of the cabin fool you; the inside has been redone and was comfortable for my family, providing all the amenities needed for a fun stay. Great fire pit in the backyard and many fish were caught from the dock. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Cute little lake house!

Enjoyed our stay at this property! It was perfect for a small family getaway. Beautiful views and easy access to the lake. Great spot to bring young kids and still enjoy the adult time.

Excellent fishing place!

We go on an annual fishing trip with our elder parents. They have so much fun at this place and the fishing never disappoints. The place is nice, the movie selection is great. We look forward to staying here every year!!

Needed Vacation

The house was wonderful. The beds were soft, rooms were cool to sleep in. Everything was provided pots pans dishes cups toaster coffee pot. We enjoyed it very much.

Had a great time at this home!! Even though the fish wasn’t biting, we still had a blast!! Nice big yard, an area you can keep your dogs in. The house was nice and the beds were comfortable also. Great place for fishing!

Our family has now stayed here 2 years in a row, and the fishing has been great both times. The house is as listed and it is comfortable and perfect for a fishing weekend. The owner is super responsive.

Great location and house!

2nd time renting this cabin! Love the location and fishing here. The owner is great too! Grand kids love the deck and huge yard! Fishing off the dock in the evening is the best!
