Villa Rosso Di Sera: 2 Minute Walk from the Beach

Villa Rosso di Sera is a spectacular villa in a Caribbean style with a Mediterranean feeling. Set on a ridge overlooking the picturesque Taylor Bay on the ocean and iridescent Chalk Sound, it captures the ocean breezes which naturally flow through the entire house.
Spacious living and dining areas are enhanced by a fully equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and also has an adjacent wet bar that is a natural area for conversation.
The four well-appointed luxurious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms are situated to maximize the unique view. All bedrooms have king-sized beds with two of them able to be separated into king singles. The bedrooms are spread over the three floors allowing much privacy for a variety of accommodation. Two air beds are available to accommodate 10 guests.
Outdoor screened areas offer four distinct areas to relax and enjoy the Caribbean tradewinds, and hammocks offer the perfect opportunity.
The interior of the house is trimmed out in Caribbean cedar, with a cool palette of ochre and reddish browns.
Taylor Bay is a short 2-minute walk away. Taylor Bay is usually quite calm and secluded. The villa includes beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers for your perfect day on the beach. Additional amenities include a Jacuzzi, flat panel TVs in every room, WiFi throughout the villa, and kayaks. Shared tennis courts are also available.
This property provides daily housekeeping and is perfect for any vacation agenda.

A great value, especially if you bring kids

This house is roomy, attractively (and comfortably) decorated, and well located in terms of reaching the beach, a five minute walk. ( And, yes, Taylor Bay is the right beach for young kids.) Between the beach in the morning and the pool in the late afternoon, our 3-year-old grandson was well entertained while never being exposed to the full heat of the day. Speaking of heat, the bedrooms have AC, but we didn’t need it, thanks to the wonderful breezes the house is positioned for. Good beds and bathrooms, esp the master suite, which also has access to several second-story porches. Quiet neighborhood. Good outdoor grill. Management is extremely responsive. When we reported that the beach umbrella was broken, the house manager, Pamela, tracked us down on the beach an hour later to hand-deliver two umbrellas that she’d just bought for us. Two small things: House directions to the beach could be clearer. (FYI, the path to the gate runs right beside the tennis court.) And, hey, it’s a big house, so it would be nice to have more than one hairdryer. But overall, this house was terrific and I’d happily return.

Great getaway for family or friends!

The villa was beautiful and clean. Pool was great and super close to the beach! The property had everything we needed for the beach - chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach toys for kids, etc. Would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful house and location and very responsive host/mgmt

Our entire family loved the house and its proximity to Taylor Bay. The house was clean and beautiful. Well-constructed and great value and lots of space. We had a few questions during our stay and Caicos Isles mgmt were very responsive and helpful. Will likely stay here again next year.

great trip

We really loved this vacation property and the property manager was very helpful the whole trip. The grill was not working properly and a toilet did not function well and the sent a new grill and toilet the next day. Taylor bay beach is small. So be prepared. You have to walk out deep to go under but it was the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen and we have seen many carribean sunsets. The property did not have beach umbrellas which you will need so bring your own. Shopping and supermarkets about a 15-20 min drive. Kitchen was great and we sat by pool at night when we cooked. We had drinks on the upstairs balcony which was gorgeous. I would suggest that they fix the screens off the master bedroom porch because we all got eaten alive . Hopefully that will be fixed by next stay Overall it was such a great trip and a great house. Again--property managers couldn't have been more responsive and helpful. Would def go back

Paradise

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. Pam was great. She stocked our fridge and bar as requested. The walk to the beach was 2 minutes away and the private beach was gorgeous. The taxis are super expensive though but still wouldn’t rent a car and risk that left side driving.

Paradise Awaits You


My experience renting Villa Rosso was 5 stars from start to finish. The house is even better in person, very well appointed and decorated. We were a group of 6 friends on a 40th birthday trip. We planned to eat dinners out and have lunch and breakfast at home so Shahida was SUPER helpful getting our requested groceries for us and pre-stocking the house. I noticed they even went to 3 separate stores. Having all your food and drink ready to go when you arrive is definitely the move! Pam and Crystal greeted us at the house with drinks and were there to answer any questions we had. A wonderful welcome. They also came by when we left, a very nice touch. There were a few little quirks with the house (as any home has), but we had virtually zero issues. I didn’t even alert the team because everything was so minor. The best part of the house is the location. So close to the most gorgeous beach we visited while on the island. We met several other tourists while on the beach who asked if we were staying nearby and all said next time they would choose to do as we had and stay near Taylor Bay vs. the more popular Grace Bay. As a first timer to Turks I am SO GLAD I happily ended up choosing correctly the first time. Five stars all around and would happily return to Villa Rosso again and again!

This villa is big. It is about a 15 min drive away from Grace Bay however we were a 5 min walk from Taylor Bay beach and it’s gorgeous there. Overall we had a good stay. The biggest issue is mosquitos so be prepared to wear insect repellent or ask the property manager to fog the perimeter of the home. The wifi is weak if you’re upstairs and downstairs. On the main floor the wifi is pretty good. We had some minor issues but the property manager was very quick to respond and fixed the issues really quickly. We cooked most of our meals and their kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The A/C units are only in the bedrooms and we read that the A/C units are metered so make sure to turn them off if you don’t use it. We found the cross breeze sufficient to keep the main floor cool. The pool was amazing and equipped with plenty of floating doughnuts. You just need to a quick clean the of pool daily to remove the debris from the windy and breezy nights. There are barely places to eat nearby and the closest grocery store is about a 5-10 min drive. That was ok for us because we chose to cook our meals. Overall a great stay. The pictures are accurate and it’s a large space for the 9 of us.

Family Vaca

House was as stated on VRBO and we would go back again. Gave 4 stars as a few items were either not functioning or difficult to function. Hot tub did not hold water as it apparently has a leak so unable to use. Ceiling fans have new remotes with no instructions on use, TV’s we’re missing a remote and needed to be rebooted and finally the Wi-Fi was just Ok. If you’re needing to work while away, and have large GB files, it is slow. Would recommend host to upgrade.

Great Customer Service

Turks and Caicos is one of our favorites! We’ve rented several different houses depending on our group dynamic. This time we took our family. We had three teenage boys and their girlfriends along with my parents. The house was great! We did have a couple small things that were addressed and corrected so quickly. Everyone we dealt with was very helpful and accommodating. Thank you!!!
