This 2 bedroom, 2 baths furnished home is set up around your comfort. Perfectly situated 1.5 miles from campus and the NCED Conference Center allows you to come and go quickly, while enjoying OU games, visiting students, or attending trainings.

Smart TV and large, comfy couch are perfect for game night, afternoon nap, or watching The Office for the millionth time. The kitchen is fully stocked w/ dishwasher, refrigerator, and electric oven/stovetop. In-house washer and dryer make laundry a breeze. And for your dog, there are; dog bowls, a large wire kennel, and of course, a fenced-in backyard.

Cleanliness is next to godliness. Between every stay the floors are shampooed, mattresses vacuumed, and bathrooms become spotless.

The sofa was worn and obviously patched but very comfy. (In my family, my mother would have put a slipcover on it!) The mattress in the front bedroom was horrible and was made worse (not better) by the addtion of about an inch of foam rubber that reached almost, but not quite, to the edge. On the other hand, it was comparatively inexpensive, was very clean and had everything you needed to be comfortable.

We are 8his place was a shoc1 YO. This place was a shock! Place is in SERIOUS need of repair/rehab.Cleanliness of property is VERY poor, & the furniture looked like Goodwill rejects. Llisting is EXTREMELY misleading. Pictures badly misrepresented condition of the property. Beds, linens, towels were minimal,old,mismatched;carpets stained, wrinkled, worn; walls dirty, stained. Due to travel delays we missed first nite & arrived 1am of second nite after traveling 630 miles. We arrived so late we were stuck with situation for the second night. However the place was so rundown my wife did not sleep and refused to sleep in either bed. She sat up on the couch but did not feel it was clean enough to sleep there either. Couch even had a duct tape patch. I was exhausted so I slept four hours in one of the beds, but showered as soon as I got up as I did not feel clean. Pictures/reviews in the listing VERY misleading; did not accurately portray the conditions. Kitchen old but utensils adequate.Only positive feature. I took pictures (below),but they don't fully show conditions. We are hereby requesting our money back for the stay as we weren't confortable using the place.We left lat er in morning of night of arrival and found other lodging. I spoke to owner, Joel, about our concerns. He was polite & understanding and offered to refund our full bill, including first night. However that has not happened yet. We left place same condition as found. Sadly disappointed in this VRBO listing!

For an older place it was good and clean. I do think that it would be better if the carpets were switched out for hard surface flooring. It is always nice to find a pet friendly place when traveling.

Lovely little place close to campus. Pet/ family friendly. We’ve stayed here a few times now and the owner is very fast to respond to messages, which is really appreciated.

This property was awful. Carpet was badly stained with holes in it. Some towels were stained. Could see oily head prints on the headboard in one bedroom. Bathroom floor was 70's baseball trading cards that had turned yellow with age. Window blinds torn completely up. Couch had large rips. It looked like a college boy's apartment that had hosted lots of parties. Will absolutely not recommend.

Check in was easy. The duplex was great and in a great location. Loved that it had a back yard. I didn’t use the kitchen, but it had everything you need to cook. It was in a great location and super close to campus.

Good set up with 2 Queens and 2 baths.

Check-in was easy! Good instructions from owner. Beds were comfy. Lots of work has been done updating. We slept very well. 2nd bath still needs updating. Need hooks or more towel bars in bathrooms. Nice and close to our family in Norman.

Home base during SoonerCon

We arrived Thursday at check-in time (4pm), dropped our bags and then headed over to the Embassy Suites for setup. We got back to the house a few hours later and collapsed on the super-comfy sectional sofa. And that pretty much describes the next 2 days! We showered, slept, cooked and ate there. The neighborhood is calm and quiet, and the duplex was a chilled-out haven. My friend had high praise for her bed (she was in the primary suite), mine was comfy too, and both of us loved having our own bathroom. If you’re going to do a lot of cooking, it’s probably a good plan to check with the host (very responsive) on any specialty cookware or appliances you might need — the kitchen is covered for eating and drinking, but we ended up buying an aluminum-foil casserole pan — we should’ve asked! Would definitely like to stay here again, and we found Joel to be a dependable and unintrusive host — thank you so much!

Peaceful and private setting. Slept comfortably. Park and trails were a great bonus just a walk away. Host is responsive and courteous with communication.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The location is perfect for active, dog lovers, who want to be close to campus without being "stuck on campus." There's a great walking path just behind the property, an amazing dog park is just down the road, and my personal favorite, Lake Thunderbird is 12 minutes door to door. My GSP loves swimming, so every lunch break is 12 minutes there, 30 minutes of swimming, and then 12 minutes back just in time to be ready for my next Zoom meeting.
