You have sole access to the ENTIRE INN portion of the large house -all yours! Experience the Vaiden House, circa 1781, where Old World charm meets modern amenities. Relax on the grounds of the Revolutionary War. Walk among the 8 acres, where George Washington and other historic figures traveled. Relax on one of the several porches and patios or visit local wineries, breweries, and Colonial Downs.

The front door leads you to the parlor, living room, full bathroom and kitchenette. The large living area downstairs has a leather reclining sofa, Smart TV, dining table and ample seating. Off the living room is a full bathroom with standing shower. The small kitchen has a microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, single-burner, refrigerator, ice maker and plenty of kitchen necessities. The staircase leads to the upstairs foyer and 4 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms. All rooms have USB charging stations, and Smart TVs with high-speed streaming. There are 2 coffee/tea bars, up and downstairs. Enjoy the west and east porches, and large patio with café lighting, firepit and grill. Take a stroll to the creek, down the trail through 8 acres of woods. There is a pond in the west garden, several gazeboes, and hammocks.

We really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful historic property and the photos are quite accurate. Our rooms were very clean. We had an opportunity to meet our host, and she was very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay!

Plenty of comfortable space indoors and several patio spots outdoors. Easy to access from interstate and lots of parking for guests cars. Pet friendly was important to us and there’s even a fenced dog run. Spotlessly clean with many thoughtful amenities. Quite private but host was attentive by text and emails before and during our stay.

A nice stay in a quiet location

The property is very nice, in a quite area away from tons of traffic and noise. The house is very old and has a lot of charm in every room. The four bedrooms were all very comfortable and the upstairs sitting areas were comfortable.

It was perfect for what we needed as a small group who wanted to stay together during our quick weekend trip. The property was a convenient drive to Busch Gardens! Jess was great to deal with, constantly checking in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything.

Convenient Location!

Easy access off of I64. Brought 2 Golden Retrievers that loved the 8 acres of freedom! Great indoor and outdoor space. 5 deer checked us out on our return from Williamsburg. Martha's Kitchen and Trojan Grill were great restaurants!

A lovely inn / large house close to many attractions

We had a great time staying at the Vaiden Inn! We (two families of four, adults and children), just spent my son's 7th birthday at the inn so we'd be in close proximity for a day at Busch Gardens. The home was large, convenient, and well appointed. The host was helpful and accessible. Thanks!

Beautiful Historic Property

We were so lucky to find this amazing property! The pictures don’t do it justice. Beds were extremely comfortable, house was very clean and well maintained. All bedrooms had well-appointed bathrooms. While we were there due to emergency repairs to our home, this would be an amazing place for a bridal party.

The perfect solution for my family and I

My family and I were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect location for our long weekend getaway. I appreciated Jess’s patience as I had a ton of questions and just wanted to find a cute place to stay and relax. Wonderful Historic Home

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful old home. Our family was attending a memorial service in West Point and the location was excellent. There were four adults, one teenager, and two twelve year olds, so it was an excellent fit. My only regret was that family events kept us from taking advantage of everything the inn had to offer.
