With a two minute drive, or a 10 minute walk to beautiful Lake Cushman and closest neighborhood to the Olympic National Park Trailheads, this home is perfect for relaxed family vacations or a great starting spot for the BEST hikes in the Olympic National Forest.

This two bedroom home features a gorgeous floor to ceiling river rock fireplace. The vaulted ceilings and giant windows give beautiful Forest views from this luxurious cabin style home in the woods.

The top floor is a large loft used as the master bedroom with king size bed, while the main floor has another bedroom with queen size bed. The daylight basement has a game/rec room with board games, video games, and a ping pong table. There is a bunk bed with full size futon, twin bed on top and a sleeper sofa making the home perfect for accommodating a large group, or comfortable and spacious for a couple of couples.

A short 8-10 minute walk, or two minute drive will bring you down to the waterfront at Lake Cushman. The area features a park play structure, swim area, dock, bathrooms (with shower) boat launch, gazebo with barbecue pits & picnic tables. Renting this home will allow you access to the homes guest pass to access this waterfront park. If you are planning to bring a boat, jet ski or other water craft, you need to let us know before your stay so we can order the guest pass for you boat and trailer. They will not let you in the park without it. There is a small fee for the passes. Message us for more details. There is no moorage at the lake, so all water crafts have to be pulled out in the evening.

The Lake Cushman Golf Course is a short 10 minute drive up the road. It is an easy going, well maintained course with beautiful forest views www.lakecushmangolfcourse.com

There are two kayaks outside the sliding glass door downstairs that guests are welcome to use.

There is a large deck with a barbeque, the perfect spot to relax after a long day of playing in the Olympics or on the Lake

The home is dog friendly with an extra cleaning fee.

No smoking inside. If there is evidence of smoke smell in the house you will be charged a minimum fee of $250.00

Loved the property, the area and the quiet. Had a lot of fun in the game room with the kids. Kitchen cutlery and tools could use an upgrade. The beds and bathrooms were very clean but dusting and detail cleaning in the living areas was poor.

Beautiful lake and lake access. Download a map and the check in directions/codes BEFORE you get there! Not much phone service. Overall, the space was comfortable and enjoyable. It would be nice if there were a kettle of some kind, but otherwise well appointed kitchen and other spaces. A great space for us (two friends).

House was a great location in the forest yet close to the lake. Seeing deer on the property everyday was very fun for myself and children. Sleeping arrangements were great. I appreciated that my toddler had a separate room to sleep in. House was very comfortable.

Beautiful, well maintained property in a serene area. Loved the master suite and the basement setup. Even the deer seemed to enjoy it, dropping by daily. We had a splendid time.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin and would absolutely book it again! The cabin is cozy, peaceful, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. One of our favorite parts was the private lake. Since it’s only for homeowners and their guests, it was never crowded, making it the perfect place to kayak, swim, and unwind. The owners also provide a grill and a gas fire pit, which made our evenings so enjoyable. My son especially loved making s’mores by the fire. A special thank you to the neighbor, Dennis, who lives there year-round. He was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. He even pressure-washed the kayaks that are there for use, before we took them out on the lake, which was such a thoughtful gesture.If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable place to relax and enjoy nature, I highly recommend this cabin. We made wonderful memories here and can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed this house. It was close to the lake and close to big creek hiking trail. Perfect for our kids ages 3 and 5. The house was well stocked with towels and blankets and pots and pans. Lots of deer around which was nice to see. Very quiet and peaceful.

Fantastic neighborhood. Very peaceful and we loved the 6min walk to the park. Beds were very comfortable and well equipped kitchen.

when we arrived there was some random guy standing on the property right on the back porch, states he helps the neighbor out with checking things", it was very odd and not very settling. He should check things before the check in time of people, he really scared my grand daughter. You pay for privacy and this was very unprofessional.

I would not rate this luxurious. Location was great. House was as comfortable and met expectations except for the kitchen. Delayed check in process by 3 hours impacted our trip. Kitchen should be better stocked to rate in my opinion. Needs replaced basic mixing bowls, frying pans, baking sheets. Responsive communication with host.

Fun place to stay

Had a great time here! The cabin has everything you need for a great trip to Lake Cushman/Olympic National Park. Great neighborhood and proximity to the park is fantastic. Bed was comfy. We would recommend!

The place was so dirty I had to fight to get the cleaning deposit back. The host clearly needs a new cleaning person. The patio needs some serious sanding work done, got a splinter I pulled out. The cabin itself was gorgeous, multiple rooms and fun things to do inside the cabin. We did not try either fireplaces. There are kayaks and fishing poles so bring your roof rack! Restaurants are at least an hour away with odd hours mostly ending at 6pm. If you’ve forgotten some things, type in Hoodsport Coffee, it’s about 25min away and the grocery/gas and hardware store is just a block away. Like visible when looking in the right direction. The coffees were fine, the breakfast sandwiches were awful. At the cabin, we saw multiple deer daily! Bluejays, an eagle, butterflies! And surprisingly no bugs or mosquitoes! The couch and bunk beds downstairs are very uncomfortable. Laundry is downstairs. The room on the very top was the coolest part but got very hot so I moved myself downstairs. Bed at main floor w kitchen and ice maker in the freezer. Coffee pod machine. Not much for spices etc and the pots and pans are best to hell, bring your own or at least on skillet for cooking. Overall 2/5 mostly due to cleanliness. I had to wipe down every touchable surface as there were food and sticky parts. Wiped down railings and door handles. The upstairs bedding had a perfumed old person smell. (No offense to older persons) the sheets were just clearly not cleaned and the bed just remade as is :/
