Five bedroom, three bath home in a secluded setting. Set back from a side road on a long winding driveway this newly renovated home is a great find for a large family or 2 or 3 couples traveling together. Located just off of Hadley Point Road, less than a ½ mile from Hadley Point Beach. This beach is a local favorite and not well known to the general public. A great place to beach comb, have a barbecue or launch your boat off the public ramp. This nice home is close to everything Bar Harbor and Acadia have to offer. Downtown Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia are a short 7 to 10 min drive away.

Bar Harbor has many shops and restaurants to fancy every taste. Don’t forget to have a Maine lobster dinner while you are here! Acadia with its 50 miles of carriage trails and many miles of hiking trails is one of the nicest National Parks in the country. The scenery and views are truly outstanding and will give you many hours of enjoyment.

After your day of hiking come back home to enjoy the comfortable lodging Bar Harbor Serenity has to offer. The open floor plan with the kitchen, dining area and living room give an easy place to spread out and relax. With one bedroom downstairs and three upstairs there is nice accommodations for all! This was a wonderful property for our multi-generational family. We had several generations staying together, including young children, and the space worked perfectly for everyone. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The host was very responsive and quick to help whenever we needed anything. The location was ideal, it felt peaceful and secluded while still being conveniently close to downtown and Acadia. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for a family trip with young children. The property was clean and had a lovely outdoor space with grills. It is in a central location: a short walk to the local beach (where you can also drive and park); 10 min drive to Bar Harbor, and easy access to Acadia National Park. This is a fantastic property for extended or large families seeking to stay in one spot together and still have plenty of indoor and outdoor space.

While convenient to Bar Harbor, definitely agree with more recent reviews that this is basically the “landlords special” of vacation rentals. Multiple bed frames are broken and held up by stacked & zip-tied 2x4s or literal garden pavers. The lockbox has the key which doesn’t work on that door so you have to walk to the other door which isn’t horrible but a little annoying. Hot water takes a very long time to kick in, though we never had it run cold so assuming it’s an on demand heater, which obviously has some perks! No shower was a positive experience during our stay, and not being able to get a medium temperature for a bath for our kids in the normal bathtub was frustrating. Based on water damage/bathroom maintenance and things throughout the house didn’t care to dabble with the jacuzzi tub. Overall gave us a place to sleep, it was okay.

Great family getaway

This place was perfect for our family vacation. 10 minutes from Acadia, private, clean. Provided plenty of everything (towels, cookware, cleaning supplies). We really enjoyed our stay.

This property is well located. It’s nicer than shown in photos, and I would suggest they update their photos. Spacious, well stocked kitchen, and I do love it when others leave behind coffee filters, coffee and spices! The issue we had was with the bed frames, they are cheap and one was clearly broken before our stay. A temp fix “rigged up” to support a queen mattress was not adequate…and we had to prop up another tweaked frame on the king bed. Linens are nice, towels fine. All 3 showers are old-style single fiberglass size, which was a disappointment, but we managed. Overall, this home was fine. But if you are looking for an updated, finely furnished place, this isn’t it. We needed a lot of beds, and a living and dining room that would fit our large group, so we chose this one and it worked out fine.

Great location, easy access to Acadia and Bar harbor, lots of space, great kitchen and eating area.

Good house for families, very comfortable, plenty of room. Saw deer and wild turkeys every day, easy walk to a quiet beach - not sand, just small rocks, but lovely place to sit and enjoy the ocean.

Perfect for a family vacation

The house was large with beds for all 9 of us. Location was great, an easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The place was clean, well equipped to make meals (lobsters :) at home. Highly recommend this property, and look forward to staying here again!

The location is very private but close to a beautiful local beach and about a 10 minute walk to the free shuttle stop. The house has a great amount of space and most everything you need. The house was acceptably clean but could use some updating and fresh paint throughout. Overall a good stay.
