Unit J is fully furnished with 2 Bedrooms, 1 King bed, 1 Bunk bed full over full, 2 bathroom(s), Fully equipped kitchen, Balcony , Washer and Dryer, Flat screen TVs, High speed wireless internet (WIFI) and an Outdoor shower(s) . Also included are beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and boogie boards. This condo is very comfortable and homey providing whatever you need during your stay. Terry is quick to respond if you have any needs/questions during your stay. This was our 4th year staying here and we’ve already reserved it for the same week next year. The location is great in the complex, it’s very easy to access. This condo is set up perfectly

Another fantastic stay at this location! This trip was a spontaneous getaway, and the owner was incredibly accommodating. She’s always wonderful to work with and promptly responds to any questions or requests. This is my favorite place to stay in Atlantic Beach because it feels like home, but even better! The place is always spotless, and the surrounding area is beautiful and conveniently located.

Highly Recommend. Clean. Comfortable. Convenient. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would stay again. As mentioned in other posts, Terry, the host, is very responsive, and includes lots of nice extra such as beach chairs, towels, coolers, and ice packs. My only suggestion is to bring a wagon if you have kids or walking is difficult as the unit is in the front of the complex nearest the road. Having said that, my husband and I had no problem hauling a few things to the beach ourselves. The unit is in a great location if you want to be away from some of the crowds yet a short drive from restaurants, shops, and more. Since it was mid September, we enjoyed the quiet. I’d expect it would be a lot busier during summer months. The grounds are clean and well kept. Having two pools with the one near the beach also having restrooms is an extra bonus if you are spending time at the beach. The unit is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 for cleanliness is I’m extremely picky, but I’d give it a 4.5 if I could.

Relaxing Vacation

This was our second time staying in this condo in the last few months and we’ve stayed here in the past as well. It is my favorite place to stay on our vacations to Atlantic Beach. I literally scheduled our vacation around when this place was available because it is so welcoming, so clean, a beautiful and home-like property. The owner is so kind and responsive. I just love it and hope to spend many more vacations here in the future. It is sincerely one of the highlights of our trip.

Love this beach

I love this beach because it doesn’t drop off really fast. So many boats to watch, also. Southwinds is a quiet community with some families with children, but not too awful many. The particular unit we stayed in is ground floor at the very front near the main highway. The location is perfect. Balcony is in the shade in the afternoon and we had a breeze there. The unit is well stocked with anything you could possibly need. The owner is very generous and kind, and very responsive. I did notice the dampness in the air and a bit of an unpleasant smell coming from the air conditioner, but I have a sense of smell like a dog. Most people would never notice it.

Amazing Beach Vacation

This is our Second time staying at this property and I’ve already booked a third. It is most definitely my favorite of all the properties we’ve stayed in over the past 11 years. I would stay here every trip if possible. The host is so nice and quick to respond. The condo is beautiful and super clean with everything we could possibly need during our stay. We love it here. Wonderful Mother Daughter Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The space and layout were perfect. It was quiet and clean. It really had everything we needed - supplies and the washer and dryer were an added bonus. The 2 pool options were great as well. We would love to come back!

Family Vacation

I have rented numerous units at Southwinds over the years, but this unit was by far the nicest. Modern decor throuhout, very lovely. All you need to bring is your clothes & food. The host, Terry, provides galore amenitities.The unit has about everything. I highly recommend. EXCELLANT stay

Family Vacation

The property was very nice and had everything we needed. There was an internet issue during the stay and Terry contacted the provider and worked to get the issue resolved. All of the amenities were as listed. I would recommend bringing a wagon if you have a lot of things to carry to the beach. It is quite a long walk if you’re carrying things.

Great stay at beautiful property

This was one of our favorite properties so far. The location was perfect and close to all of our favorite restaurants. The beach is beautiful and accessible from the property. The home was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was extremely comfortable and that’s always a huge plus to me because I have had several back surgeries and have a lot of difficulty finding beds that’s aren’t uncomfortable but this one was great! We will definitely rent here again in the future. Thank you again!

3 nights isn't enough!

We chose Terry's property to stay at for visiting the MCAS airshow in Havelock, about 30 min away. Great hostess and very prompt to answer questions! This was our first time in the area and being at this property made it very enjoyable and easy, thank you Terry! Great short get-away. This was the perfect size for our family of 6, (4 children 1-9 yrs old). I love that this property is on 1 floor and doesn't have any inside stairs to have to watch the baby with. Wonderful short walk to the quiet private beach and the pools are great to have too. She provides lawn chairs, sand items, cooler bags which came in handy because I forgot my wagon. Cooking dinner was a breeze. Awesome location. We really love that it's quiet yet so convenient to everything we wanted to see including Beaufort. Will be back!
