Welcome to paradise! This 2BR/2Ba condo is located on the 6th floor of The Palms of Destin Resort. Across the street from Henderson Beach it has unobstructed views of the ocean. The master offers a king size bed and adjoining bathroom. There are twin trundle beds in the small second bedroom bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has a laundry closet. The living room has a new Cozy queen sleeper sofa. As a convenience to our guests, we provide a beach umbrella with a sand mount, 6 beach chairs, 1 beach mat, igloo cooler, wagon, beach toys, and beach towels. Short 25 minute drive from VPS Fort Walton/Destin Airport. The Palms Of Destin stands out as a top choice! Situated on the East end of Destin, our location offers utmost convenience for exploring the area. We're surrounded by golf courses, restaurants, and the Destin Commons outlet shopping center. Enjoy the onsite coffee shop, bar and authentic Italian Restaurant The Blue Lagoon. Nearby amenities include a Dollar Store, Urban Air Adventure Park, Morgans Sports Complex, and Bealls Department store. Plus, a Walmart is just a block away. Henderson State Beach, with its mile-long beachfront, is across the street, along with dining options like Back Porch Restaurant, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Peppers Mexican Grill, Joes Crab Shack and Bubba Gumps greets you near the entrance. Enjoy complimentary shuttles to Harbor Walk Village, Destin Commons, and the beaches, eliminating parking hassles. Our condos feature washer/dryers, and there's a gym onsite. Sports enthusiasts can indulge in basketball, pickleball, tennis, and cornhole. Unwind at our resort pool area, open until 11:00 pm, featuring Destin's largest lagoon pool, a heated pool, a spacious hot tub, and a splash pad. Nearby, The Track offers GoCarts, mini golf, and arcade fun. For dining, Fudpuckers is just a few blocks away, offering unique experiences like feeding alligators and touring the alligator museum. Beginning May 15, 2026, Henderson Beach State Park will implement a day-use reservation program. All day-use park guests entering the park by vehicle must have a reservation for entry into the park. Pedestrians and bicyclists will not need a reservation. You can go to their website to purchase an entry. $6 a car. It is $2pp to walk on. Rest assured, you won't be disappointed!

Enjoyed this property for a weekend stay. Great location. Great pool and is in walking distance to the beach. A shuttle to the beach is available, as well.

Family trip

Overall our teen really enjoyed the pool and property. The coffee shop makes very good beverages from simple lattes to more involved specialty drinks (no need to travel to starbucks!). The lounge and restaurant are a nice add-on and there was entertainment every night.

Great location, fun trip

Our host was very communicative, with very quick responses to our questions. It easily housed 3 adults and 2 kids. Even though the automatic ice maker didn't work, there were a couple of trays to make your own consistently. I would definitely recommend this location!

Good stay

Our stay here was overall good. The trundle bed is in a very small room (I think intended to be a small laundry room) and best for smaller children. The ocean is a 5-7 minute walk, but we ended up driving to Henderson State Park most days. Great restaurant options around. The quality of the resort is less than what the video makes out but was still a great stay.

Everything with the owner and their place was great! The property is lacking little stuff like ice machine and hours for valet. But other than that it was amazing! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool area and outside bar were great for adults and kids!

The condo was exactly as described. It was nice to have kcups available for the Keurig, as well as additional trash bags and tp. Was conveniently located right off the elevator, and was a very short walk to pool. Pool was gorgeous!!! Gym was nicely equipped as well. Nice place!

Wonderful Spot

We stayed in this unit for a month in February 2023 Host was terrific and did her very best to make sure we were well looked after . Answered any questions quickly and made sure we were satisfied in every respect. Unit was spotless and well equipped. Great view of Ocean . Close to everything from restaurants to shopping. We fell in love with the Destin area. Highly recommend this unit and amenities. Nanette was wonderful.

Great stay!

This was the perfect little getaway location for my family and I! Spring Break went perfect thanks in large part to this condo! Perfect size, just as described, and the pool/amenities were fantastic! Restaurant on site, walking distance to the beach (which was AMAZING!) and several shops/restaurants, and centrally located within a short drive to everything you want to see in the area! The communication with the host was even better than I’d imagined, and the space worked wonderfully for our family of 3! My son loved the option of sleeping on the “top bed or the bottom bed” and said both were super comfortable! Wish the air was a touch warmer so the lagoon pool was less cold, but that’s to be expected in March and of no fault of anyone! The heated pool and hot tub were more than enough for us!If/when we ever return to Destin, this condo will be on the top of our list! Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Enjoyable stay

The host was very engaging and pleasant. The property was beautiful and as described. We gave them 3 stars for cleanliness because of mold on the ceiling in the 1st bathroom due to condensation from the shower. We just closed that bathroom off and used the 2nd bathroom for our stay since we only had two adults and 1 child in the room. This can easily be corrected and the property would be perfect. In fairness to the owner we did not reach out to her for correction. We do recommend this property.

Cute place!

Nannette was a fantastic host. All instructions were laid out extremely well, there was no confusion on check-in and the entire place was clean and ready! Only giving 4 stars for the location/resort itself, if you haven’t been to Destin or The Palms before — I would say the pictures fool you on what to expect from this resort. It’s pretty seedy and a lot older than I thought it would look in person. Everything smells like a kids gym — but, the workers were extremely nice and Nannette’s giant living room TV is PERFECT after a day of Sun, and you can still walk down the street to the beach. But, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this spot, personally.
