Located on a 150 x 80 foot lot with a fenced in back yard, Garage with automatic opener, Jacuzzi Tub and walk-in shower, Stove-Oven, Dishwasher, Disposal, Large Stacked Washer & Dryer, Dining Table, Social Sun Room, Fireplace, Outside Porch/Patio, Ceiling Fans throughout. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Sleeps six, one queen size bed, one full size bed, and a set of bunk beds.

This home was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. We felt so relaxed during our stay. Check-in was smooth, and the host was incredibly responsive and easy to reach. A wonderful getaway spot!

The best rental on the coast. This was our second time staying here for a month.We have stayed at many and have found this one to be quiet, convenient to the interstate and to the Sandhill Crane Preserve as well as comfortable with everything you need for your stay Also, because it backs up to the golf course, you have a beautiful vista before you. My Doodle made great use of the fenced yard!

We booked a 28 day stay with thoughts of maybe staying longer; but so disappointed, we left early. The house is very dated and filled with old furnishing. Both recliner/chair have noticable stains from years of use without cleaning. All the blinds are in disrepair, especially in the front sunroom where we pieced together slats with tape just to provide adequate privacy. And honestly the beds, bedding and pillows are so old and worn out, they are not rentable and should all be replaced. The toilets need servicing. The water has noticeable rust in it. The ice maker is unusable leaving corrosive metal in the cubes. One bath exhaust fan broke. While another I was asked to service. The broken one was replaced while we were away on a day trip and without our permission to enter the premises. While the host allowed an early check-in and the use of an extra table, we felt our privacy was invaded and our stay inconvienenced. The owner claims there are no cameras inside the house, but the ones in the garage and driveway seem to always be recording. He also accessed the computer and many other things in the house remotely during our stay; all which made us very uncomfortable. The yard was poorly maintained and required us to ask and even be further inconvienced to have it mowed. The house is poorly situated with no sidewalk on a very busy road and location is very remote, with no close fishing available and a very poor golf course on site. All in all, we would not rent here again.

Wow, this is a shock to me. Never once was I informed of any disappointment. Always positive and communicated a lot which I always responded to. The Guest said, and I quote, "Mark, everything looks great, super clean! Thank you for allowing us to rent your home and check in early." The Guest did encounter some repair issues which I addressed. The Guest never complained. I let him park vehicles and trailers at my residence, loaned him an additional 8' table for his Garage Sale the Guest was running. I wanted to do a repair on Saturday, the Guest wanted Father's Day, we settled on Monday, but the Guest was not home and was not responding to communications I sent, so I went ahead and repaired it. I only remoted into the computer to diagnose the smart hot water controller that malfunctioned. Anyway, the Guest left such a mess that my cleaner had to be paid double as it took her 5 hours instead of the normal two. The Guest left dishes which is against house rules. I wish I could go back and say I would not rent to him again, because I did not expect this reaction. I just don't know what to say, except to view all my reviews, they are mostly very good.

Our family had an outstanding stay. If you're passing through on I-10 or in the area for golfing, fishing, etc. then consider this charming, quiet place on the 16th fairway of Hickory Hills Golf Club as a great option. Very well thought out & easy to use information from the host.
