Come enjoy thr Dragonfly Cottage! Mid Century Modern home with large front yard, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths directly on Lake Martin! Just a few minutes boat ride to Kowaliga Restaurant, Goat Island and Chimney Rock. Enjoy the floor to ceiling windows along the front of the home for sweeping views of the lake! Enjoy the quiet, deep water of our slough that is secluded and private. This lake front home has been completely renovated with new furniture and mattresses to create the perfect vacation oasis! Memorial weekend

We had a great stay at Dragonfly Cottage. The house had everything we needed and we loved spending time on the nice dock. Quiet location and very relaxing weekend.

Perfect Lake Home

This home was clean and welcoming. Plenty of space for the family without everyone being on top of each other. The dock was amazing. Really no reason to leave when you get there.

Didn't want to leave!

Our stay at Dragonfly Cottage was wonderful! The house was clean and comfortable, and it was just what we were looking for. The dock was perfect for relaxing, fishing and swimming in the lake, and the kayak, paddle board and floats that are provided were used every day. Beth was an amazing host and replied quickly to any question I had. If we plan another trip to Lake Martin, we will definitely stay here again!

Lake life

We had the best time! The house was perfect and had everything we needed. It was spacious and clean and felt like home. we loved having coffee each morning on the porch and the dock was our favorite spot each night , swimming , floating and enjoying the sunsets. The lake is clean, refreshing and all we hoped for. We will definitely be back!!

Great family getaway

The house was great and has all of the amenities needed. The neighborhood is very private and quiet. Beth was awesome and her communication was great throughout. This all made for a fantastic getaway for my family and I. We really just wanted to "go off the grid" for a few days and we did just that! A full weekend of the lake was exactly what we needed. We will be back again because the house had everything that we needed/wanted. Thank you Ms Beth! We will be back.

A pleasant surprise

We have stayed in other houses on Lake Martin over the past several years. This is by far the best. We had everything we needed to cook, sleep comfortably and relax. The back porch was comfortable and has a great view of the water. The dock is new and well constructed. We had plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, towels and things to clean up the kitchen after cooking. This is the first place we didn’t have to get these supplies. We plan to come back next year. Thank you Beth for helping make our stay enjoyable.

Relaxing Lakehouse

Our family of 5 plus 2 friends were very comfortable in the house. Everything was well stocked and exactly how described. Communicating with Beth is very easy. The area is so peaceful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent Dragonfly Cottage again.

Super relaxing and peaceful

Our family of 4 loved staying here for a short vacation at the lake. Remodeling and furnishings were very stylish and comfortable. The back porch and new dock was so peaceful and relaxing for sunning or sitting in the shade for coffee or reading a book. However, we did have to sweep off the back porch and furniture (lots of pollen, leaves and cobwebs) before using. We really enjoyed using the kayak and YOLO board! They too (especially the kayak) had to be scrubbed down before using. Living room and kitchen area was very spacious and conducive to gathering for meals and games. Bathrooms are a bit small but loved the original tile (pink tub could use a new caulk job). We rented a ski boat at the Real Island Marina and it was very convenient. Overall we had a terrific time at the Dragonfly Cottage and would definitely rent there again!

We are so excited to share our little slice of Lake Martin heaven with you! We live in Santa Rosa Beach, FL and love to escape to our lake place. We have poured a lot of love, sweat and more love into updating and creating a place that will be enjoyed by our family and yours.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We fell in love with this mid century modern cottage because it was different and unique. We loved the large wooded lot with potential for our touch and upgrades that were important to our family. We are excited to be putting in a new dock in January 2022 and plans for a Master Bathroom renovation, new expanded front porch and garage apartment in the next few years. Both my husband and I attended Auburn University and have very fond memories at the lake! Now we get the best of both worlds by having family time at the lake and traveling to Auburn for football games.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our home is on a quiet slough so minimal boat traffic. We LOVE this so the kids (and adults) can play in the water easily and safely. We love the gentle, sloped yard with plenty of room to lounge in the hammock or enjoy a bonfire at the shore. Each space in the room is conducive to relaxing and enjoying your company!
