3 blocks walk to the Mayberry Courthouse and Wally's Service Station from the Andy Griffith Show, 7 blocks to downtown Mayberry/Mount Airy. Large front porch with swing and comfortable chairs, 2 BR home- KING AND QUEEN, large kitchen all w/SS full size appliances and kitchen amenities, beautiful new modern decor, new 55" TV, WIFI throughout home, full work desk w/new Lazy boy chair, setup for remote working with all the amenities of home. New paint inside and outside and new decor throughout in Fall 2021. Home just remodeled for Airbnb.

This home is convenient to downtown Mount Airy and also drivable to Elkin and Pilot Mountain.There are many shops, restaurants and trails in the area. We enjoyed our visit to Angry Troll Brewing and found a restaurant in Pilot Mountain, Two Chefs, that has an exceptional breakfast.

The location was within 10 minutes of downtown Mayberry including historic sites , restaurants and shopping.The home was very clean, inspirational decor, anything and everything you needed for your stay. Recommend this for a Mayberry get away. We will return!!!!

I work with an architectural and engineering firm and enjoy decorating homes and keeping everything in top shape. I have been renovating and managing rental homes since 1993. I love Mayberry. The people in this town are so nice! I love walking the 0.6 miles to downtown and visiting with folks. Downtown is very historic, one block over from downtown is Market Street more modern with pubs and restaurants. The home being so close to downtown is a major advantage!

0.3 miles to key historic locations such as the Mayberry Courthouse & Jail and Wally Service Station, 0.5 miles to downtown Mayberry. This home allows lots of privacy with as much or little interaction with folks downtown as you would like. Home is decorated in a modern inspirational Christian theme mixed with Mayberry traditional theme.
