The 1st Camp You'll Want to Stay At! Private Boat Launch & Plenty of Outdoor Fun

Newly renovated waterfront home. The home's canal is a direct 20-minute boat ride to the Jourdan River. It has 2 beds, 2 baths and a full-size pull-out couch. It also features a bunk room on the ground level with an additional three mattresses (2 twin and 1 full size). Please note-- THE BUNK BEDROOM IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE HOUSE.
This property includes so many wonderful spaces - a very large deck area and a play/fun area, both enclosed and great for children or pets. Fish off the dock or float your boat using the private launch. Great for barbeques, fish fries, and days in the sun. There's plenty to do here but if you feel like exploring, it's close to all of the city's attractions. Take a day to go to the beaches, Old Towne Bay St. Louis, outlet malls, casinos, or great restaurants. New Orleans is less than 50 miles away.

Very nice place. Comfortable and relaxing. Enjoyed the outside deck. My husband fished everyday. The only downside was the traffic noise. Owners were very accommodating. Would stay there again.

April 2023 Road Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful coast house. We were able to kayak, fish, and crab trap with the entire family. Wonderful layout with lots of room inside and out. We highly recommend this house if you need somewhere cozy and right on the water.

Quick trip

Golf partner was ill, so wife came along. She was very impressed with overall cleanliness and how it was equipped. We would definitely consider returning, and give the place 5 stars.

Excellent staycation!!

The house is in great area with terrific amenities. We loved all the outdoor spaces for hanging out and grilling. The house was immaculate and exactly as pictured. Having the boat launch was so convenient. Anne goes above and beyond with making the property comfortable and welcoming. Communication was easy and she was very responsive and helpful when we needed assistance. Thanks so much for everything!

Fantastic place on the canal

This was our first VRBO stay. You could not ask for a better experience. Anne is an AWESOME host. Everything you could ask for and more. We will absolutely be repeat customers. We are just getting into Kayaking and this place has a boat ramp in the yard! Absolutely perfect weekend! Thank you Anne.

Family Girls Trip

This place looks better in person. It was clean and had everything we needed and more! The kitchen was fully stocked and even had the extras in case we forgot something. You don’t find that often. It was the little touches they had that will definitely bring us back. We grilled, sat at the table under the deck, fished, threw darts, cooked, and had lots of laughs. The puppy yard worked great for our pup. Thanks for a great camp!

Perfect getaway on the water!

Overall this place is perfect for being on the water. The wrap around deck area was great for lounging and cooking. The house is close to everything in town and the beach. There was a few cleanliness issues considering the cleaning fee is 100 bucks but overall still a nice little home. Kitchen was fully stocked which was great...even seafood trays for crabs. Our dog loved all the grassy areas, fenced in area, and the deck for zoomies.
