Quintessential mountain log cabin in the woods, only 1.5 miles from downtown Breckenridge. It's hard to find peace and quiet like this only a few minutes from the Gondola! Large modern log home with four bedrooms + multiple living areas! Mountain views galore! All the comforts of home, a hot tub, fenced in back yard, and two car garage. Backing up to 60 acres of preserved forest land, and trail systems. Only a mile hike out the back door, and you are in Breckenridge!
As a guest, you'll have full access to the entire property via a garage code, and code entry. No need to stop at any property management in-town and fight for parking and deal with hassle. Drive directly to the property. Guests will have access to the grounds, garage, and driveway. We do have a locked owners closet in the master bedroom.
Our home is perfectly fit for large families or multiple families.
The home features beautifully furnished rooms with soaring, wood beam vaulted ceilings, a spacious and well equipped kitchen, a separate dining room, a large living area, and separate living/game room, a heated garage, loft with office amenities, huge wrap around deck providing mountain and valley views, beautiful fireplace and a large private hot tub. There is a large master king suite on the upper level, a queen bedroom on the main level, a bedroom with a full/twin bunk and another twin bed on the main level, and a queen bedroom on the lower level, as well as multiple living areas.
This home is everything you imagine when booking a mountain getaway. Beautiful log cabin, but with modern finishes and amenities. Large spacious half acre lot which provides privacy, views, and trail access out of the back door!! Enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains, but in a location that is minutes from town! A one mile hike or 1.5 mile drive gets you to main street and the Gondola Parking lot.
Large groups will love the space. Multiple family members or friends can enjoy a home-cooked dinner before relaxing in front of a warm fire the living areas or soaking in the beautiful new hot tub after a big day of mountain activities. Guests will enjoy Internet, access to cable TV and a DVD player in every room. Start all over the next day with breakfast served from the spacious kitchen or enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck while taking in the views.

*Absolutely no open fires, including fire pits, bonfires, or open barbecue
**We highly recommend 4WD/AWD for accessing our property during winter months. Our road is maintained by Summit County, however in heavy snows you'll want a well equipped vehicle. We do not recommend arriving in a sedan or minivan for your winter visit as the road will not be as clean as a Breckenridge city street.
***Please note that there is no air conditioning at the property which is common for high alpine homes. The house cools down quickly in the evenings with windows opened, but want you to be aware of this in summer months.
