Great get awat

Its pretty easy to keep a house clean, but what this host has is great communication added on top of it all. Instant I should add. Theater room is really cool especially if you like to game. Overall great experience.

Great House Close to Ski Resort

I highly recommend this place! Rory was a great host with prompt communication resolve or answer any questions you may have. The house is really beautiful with great views. Honestly the pictures don't do it justice. The layout of the house was great for our group. The kids loved their own floor while the adults enjoyed ourselves in the main floor. The hot tub was great as well! The location was conveniently close to the Gondola and Main St. Thank you, Rory for a great trip!

Great home with fantastic views

This duplex side by side home has a lot to offer, great views, very open design for entertaining in the kitchen/living/dining room area but each bedroom offers it's own privacy to relax. We had 6 adults 2 kids and never felt we were stepping on each other toes - lots of room Hot tub, movie theater, shuffle board game, popcorn maker, fire pit, all kept the family busy and entertained 10 minute drive to Breckenridge Main St (probably a bit longer in the winter months) shuttle pickup is a short walk away As the pictures show the house is built into a hillside so be aware there are a lot of stairs from top to bottom and at close to 10,500 feet we felt the altitude the first 24 hours getting acclimated I would definitely stay here again and recommend the house to friends P.S. Rory at Ideal Mountain Property was very helpful and responsive

Family Christmas

We had a wonderful time. First time to Colorado. It was 8 of us. Each couple had their own room and bathroom. The main level was perfect for all of us to be together and gather around the table for meals. It snowed everyday and the roads were always cleared. We were very convenient to downtown and ski resorts. Overall I would highly recommend.

Lovely stay

We stayed here for a long weekend with two families of 4, with kids ranging from 1-8years old. The property and home were beautiful, with plenty of space, and nice amenities. The only downside is that we thought we could take the nearby shuttle to Breck, as our main purpose of the trip was to ski. Unfortunately, it only runs once per hour and the timing was not conducive for getting the kids to ski school on time so we did need to drive and pay to park at the mountain. We had a few questions prior and received quick responses from the manager. For a relaxing mountain getaway I would definitely recommend this property!

Mountain Winter Wonderland

We arrived to an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains. The house was impeccable and included everything you could ever need. We took advantage of the hot tub, the movie room, the shuffle board table, sleds and family games. The kitchen was well stocked and the large windows looked out onto the beautiful mountain landscape. The kids encountered the local fox who lives by the house. Lots of room behind the house to play in the snow, build snowmen and sled down the hill. Conveniently located to the free shuttle, but also just a quick drive into town. Rory was great to work with and super responsive. Quick and easy check in and check out. We loved everything about this home. My only suggestion would be to be prepared for the altitude adjustment if that’s something you’re not used to and to have an AWD vehicle.

Great place for a group!

Went to stay at this place with great views of the mountains. Provided ample space for a group of 9. Very clean and well kept up with. Bedrooms are all large with full bathrooms as well. Enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again. Note: The bus route was great and only a couple minute walk from the front door. Make sure you are on time as the bus only loops every hour.

Incredible view and great home!

Our family of 9 loved this home! The view was unbelievable. It was convenient to the free shuttle bus that we used several times to go to DT Breckenridge. With the 4 bedrooms & baths we all enjoyed having our own space, on different levels of the house from each other. Loved using the theater room for watching the Tour de France on the big screen. Used the tabletop shuffle board for 2 nights of family shuffle board tournaments. The home is walking distance to The Baldy Trailhead; several family members hiked and mountain biked on that trail multiple times. House was well equipped with everything we needed. Mike was quick to respond when we had questions. The home does have lots of stairs; we just considered that good excercise, but something to keep in mind if someone in your group has difficulty with stairs. Being able to park in the garage was a real plus, as was parking right by the front door of the home. It sure made unloading & loading the cars much easier.

Great views in a great space

This location worked very well for our two families with 5 kids. Kids could play downstairs or watch movies while adults were free to hang out in the living room. When we all wanted to be together for meals there was enough space at the table. There also was enough room in the living room for us all as well. All bedrooms having the en suites was extremely helpful. The gas fireplaces provide a lot of warmth as does the radiant floor heating. The only major inconvenience was that when leaving one car (FWD) did have trouble getting out of the driveway. This was a combination of factors due to heavy snow, cars compacting the snow, followed by warm days, and then leaving early in the morning. Ultimately they needed to call a tow truck which was a bit of a bummer to the end of the trip. Another car with AWD had no issues at all. Property management was extremely flexibility and gracious with us on arrival/departure times and dates within their ability. Overall this location, with its size and amenties, as well as proximity the the shuttle stop, was a wonderful choice for us!

Stunning!

Perfect getaway house. Mike’s check-in instructions and recommendations were super detailed and helpful. The house was very clean and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful place; we would stay here again easily!

Amazing Snow Days

This property was even more beautiful than the pictures. Located on top of the mountain overlooking Breckinridge mountain we were able to completely relax while watching the snow fall on the evergreens. Several of us watched as fox and moose would meander by the evergreens in the yard. The property fireplaces, laundry room and kitchen helped to make it feel like a relaxing snow day; while the close by skiing and sledding gave us all something to relax from. The downstairs movie room and games added an extra special retreat for the kids. Thank you for a great stay in a wonderful home.

AMAZING!

Absolutely amazing family trip, and the house was the icing on the cake. Mike (property owner) stayed in contact with me the entire time to make sure we had everything we needed. One of his business partners even stopped by the house to drop off supplies and chatted with my mother-in-law a bit. Very nice people. The home was in a perfect location, within a 5m drive to the center of Breck, had every single space that we needed (and then some), and the view, oh the VIEW. The pictures do not do it justice. Every morning we drank our coffee on the back balcony, and every night we drank our beverages on the back balcony. Sunrise to sunset, it was breathtaking. Snow was pretty heavy so we were unable to use the seat/firepit area behind the house, but the balcony was perfect. Oh and the two local foxes were a treat for the kids for sure. Will absolutely rent this home again. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended! A+++++

A little piece of heaven in these crazy times!

We decided to plan what we called a consolation trip when Rona prevented us from traveling internationally this year. We love the mountains and chose this property because it had king-size beds and what looked to be a gorgeous view. It did not disappoint! While it was a lot of square footage for two couples, we enjoyed it thoroughly and had an immensely fun and relaxing vacation - just what the doctor ordered! We slept in, played games, watched movies, sat in the outdoor chairs enjoying the view, biked, hiked, and cooked some great food! A friendly fox showed up each afternoon and we enjoyed him from a distance. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat! It was convenient to town but removed enough to be refreshing and tranquil. It is attached to another rental, but there were no occupants in it while we were there and I don't imagine that would have mattered anyway. The house was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Be aware that there are several stories that had these Texans breathing hard as we acclimated to the altitude change, but the experience was so worth it! We returned home recharged and refreshed. Great Place

One word to describe the home is great. Kitchen great. Bedrooms great. Location to town and ski slopes great. Hot tub entertainment room great. Communication with property management great. Be at ease renting this home it is a great place.

Wonderful property

The view was amazing! The house was great and really worked well with all our needs. We spent Christmas here and cooked in every day! Loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with all the appliances needed. I will truly miss this home and the amazing morning views.
