4 miles to downtown Wabasha and boat launch. Come enjoy this 5 bedroom 4 bath modern contemporary home set in the bluffs. Come for the space, stay for the views. You will especially enjoy the views out every window. *The guest room above the garage is accessible via outdoor stairs and is available during warm months. A spectacular view of the Mississippi River valley, adjacent to an 18 hole public golf course, down hill skiing and near many fun outdoor activities.

Great space, very accommodating host! The place is in the middle of a remodel so there’s a few things that are under construction. We had 16 people and everyone was very comfortable.

Tremendous views and a responsive host. Lots of space. Great central areas to gather. It is a house that is being renovated and those renovations are both good and obvious. Lots of little things are in process of being fixed. Nothing unsafe
 just good to know depending on what you want from this place. For us it was great.

House has been updated since the photos, it was much better than we thought. There is a golf course across the street, and very limited parking. The garage is a workshop to update the house. The view speaks for itself. There is a fire pit in the front yard and also a patio table and chairs.

We recently stayed at this property with a large group for a wedding, and it was a great choice in many ways. The views are absolutely stunning, the location is excellent, and there was plenty of space for everyone with lots of sleeping options and bathrooms, which made it very comfortable for a group of our size. The host was wonderful to work with—very responsive and accommodating—and even let us check in an hour early since the house was ready, which we really appreciated.That said, there are a few things to be aware of. The home is clearly in the midst of ongoing renovations and will be gorgeous once it gets a bit more TLC. We were traveling with two small children, which made some of the safety concerns more glaring. Some of the issues we encountered included an electrical outlet right outside the front door that was loose and popping out, spiral stairs to the lower level that were not fixed to the ground (instead propped up by a rock and piece of wood), and some broken chairs upstairs along with a couch downstairs with a big hole in it. Overall, the property has incredible potential, and with a little more work, it could be truly exceptional. We would suggest updating the listing to make travelers aware of the ongoing renovation so guests can plan accordingly. For now, it’s a great location and spacious option, especially for larger groups, as long as you’re aware of the current renovation aspects.

The layout of this home suited the needs of our family. The views were spectacular. The home was in the process of being renovated. We were not made aware of that. One mouse was spotted in the basement bedroom. The outdoor grill was difficult to light and was dirty.

Strategy Meeting

The house needs a lot of finishing. It is a work in progress. There were not 6 rooms like it said and we needed so one of our team slept on the floor in the family room. The left oven does not work. It is a really amazing view!

Enjoy the updates

Fifteen family members gathered for the holidays. We enjoyed the many spaces to spread out and play games. We loved the new gas fireplaces and large picture windows with amazing views!

Loved watching the eagles.

Many things were wonderful about this place. There were a few minor disappointments though. Loved the dining room table and the views were unbelievably great. The rooms were very spacious with the exception of the master bath. It would have been nice had one of the bathrooms had a walk-in shower for all of us were seniors and stepping into a tub to shower was hazardous. We had 4 eagles that flew just outside our windows most of the day Saturday. They were awesome! We realized that they were doing some remodeling, and should they add some walk=in showers we would highly recommend this place and stay there again.

Riverboat days and Golf Trip

Amazing house to accommodate our group of golfers. House was right on the course and had amazing views over the river.

Can't beat the view

The owners and reviewers acknowledged the house was under repair. That was an understatement. There was much work to be done such as cracked walls, windows calked shut, birds nesting in the roof, dated carpeted bathrooms, noisy old doors, more spiders and ants than one would expect. The state of the house gave the perception that is it was unclean. While the kitchen was well-equipped, it was not organized. Travelers should bring storage containers, wraps, bags, foil and 9x13” pan if these items are needed. All this said, the house has much potential. Loved the layout and the spaciousness. The view helped to overshadow the drawbacks. Would love to stay again if the house received some TLC.

Perfect home base for men's golf weekend

This place was perfect for a group of 10 men enjoying a golfing weekend in this beautiful Mississippi River bluff region in southeastern Minnesota. The view is incredible, and we loved the many cool spaces (inside and outside) to hang out during our stay. The kitchen and dining room were very nicely updated. It appears that the owners are making ongoing improvements to the property, and we were able to enjoy the updated landscaping while sitting in one of the fun outdoor spaces. It's worth stating again, the views from this place are amazing!

Great spot for a weekend of hiking

This home offered everything we needed for a small group to celebrate a milestone birthday with a weekend of hiking, games and good conversation. As others have noted, it is obviously in various stages of rehab/renovation, but that is a minor point overshadowed by spectacular views and a kitchen with everything you'll need during your stay.

Huge and Homey

We celebrated Christmas as a family in this beautiful home. There were seventeen of us and we had plenty of space to eat and play and hang out without feeling like we were on top of each other. The view is also amazing out of the many windows. They had decorated for Christmas which was also a very nice touch. It is not in immaculate condition but if it were I would be far more nervous about having the grandkids there. They provided games books and toys. The kitchen even had a nice kitchenaid stand mixer. We had a lovely time!!!

House totally met our needs. Parts were under renovation and unfinished. Bathrooms where dated and had no exhaust fans. House will be awesome when updated and finished.

The house with a fantastic view!

When we arrived we entered the living room looked out the window and there was a rainbow over the valley welcoming us. How could you not like the location. The house was so clean and welcoming. Very spacious. The kitchen had every appliance and gadget we needed. All in all we enjoyed our stay!
