Very nice location and place, the room with bunk beds was smaller than had thought, but couch worked as extra place to sleep instead, but would definitely be small for adults. Appreciated the beach items for use with our kids!

We were in Muskegon for a few days and stayed at the Lakeside Escape. The place was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay (bath linens, paper towels, kitchen utensils, etc.). A full size washer and dryer is a nice convenience. The location is between the beach and downtown so it is only a few minutes drive to everything there is to do. We had our dog, so appreciated having a dog friendly neighborhood to go for walks. The checkin and checkout was easy.

We were So pleased with the property, the home and the location. On top of that the owner of the property was fantastic and would easily and quickly respond to anything you had questions about. The location is beyond perfect and the neighborhood is so quiet and safe. It is right in the middle of everything you want to do and anything you may need is just a short distance away. It was definitely beyond and better than our expectations and will definitely return. Recommended for anyone traveling. It was just my daughter and I but definitely enough sleep space for more. We had family visit and there was enough space to hang out and watch football lol. Looking forward to returning

Cozy Little Getaway

We had a great stay with the grandkids. Although the cottage was cozy we had plenty of room for the 5 of us and we’re all adult size. Mishelle and Dezi was very responsive when we had issues with the air conditioning. If we come to the area again we will see if the house is available again. Thanks for such a great experience!

A little further from our wedding location the. I understood from listing ..but was extremely happy with the property....clean, comfortable and cute. Michelle was very much appreciated they the entire process ...thank you ..we would certainly consider again if the occasion arises

Lakeside Escape exceeded our expectations in multiple ways. The upper level apartment is updated, clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed.The kitchen/dining/livingroom area is open and spacious. I loved the window seat overlooking the street out front. The main bedroom is nicely decorated with great views, lots of storage space and the beds are very comfortable. The second sleeping area is such a clever use of space with the bunkbeds being built into an alcove area attached to the laundry area. We did not use the pullout couch. The bayhroom was great as well. Very roomy shower/tub combo with the best shower water pressure. Definitely appreciate that! The neighborhood is charming, quiet and easily accessible to Lake Michigan, Lake Muskegon, walkable to Lakeshore Drive with it's bars, restaurants, ice cream shops and biking path. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Mishelle is great with communication, so no stress there. The overall experience at Lakeside Escape was 10 out of 10.

Mishelle is a Muskegon native, and enjoys her summers here with family & friends. She is a professional wedding, portrait & commercial photographer based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Your co-host, Desi is the owner of the property. Desi has lived in and around the Muskegon area for most of his life. He is a Marine Corps Veteran, and enjoys working as a Journeyman Electrician for Local IBEW.

Please Note: Your host, Mishelle lives outside of the Muskegon area, but is very responsive to your needs. The Co-Host/owner of the home resides in the lower level unit year round. Both are attentive & available in case of emergency, and are available to meet your needs in a timely manner. Please feel free to message using the VRBO app. Emergency contacts are located inside the folder in our rental upon check in.

Lakeside is home to a local marina, country club and trails leading to the lakes & much more.
