Ever stayed at an old farm house that has been almost completely remodeled and 15 mins from downtown Indy?! This is the perfect place with fast internet so you can rest and relax while close to Winery, parks, shops, 5 decks, a pool (in-season), creek, and basketball court for the kids. Ping pong, foosball, blazing fast internet, game room with 60” tv stereo/dvd, basketball court etc. Enjoy the refinished massive master bath tub, walk in shower (4 heads)!! Plenty of room to stretch and have some

At the heart of center grove, close to downtown Indy and down the road from Mallow Run winery. Schools less than a mile away with Lassie softball fields 0.5 miles away!

Basketball court with plenty of parking for guests/family!

1.3 acres with a stage and fire pit for campfires. Plenty of firewood for huge smoker grill and also a small grill and large smoker for some cooking out!

Uber is always ready to serve with Grubhub at the ready and most local restaurants deliver.

Bring your swim trucks and goggles and have some fun! Ceiling fans in all rooms. Washer and dryer available and garage is not used by guests. No smoking inside or on the decks please! Pets not allowed in the pool or on furniture.

Girls weekend away

12 of us stayed in the Greenwood Mansion and it was perfect for us. We really enjoyed our stay and the AMAZING pool! We all fit very comfortably and loved our stay.

We went to Indiana to see my brother and his wife and kids, he's in the service so we come up a couple times a year. It was a dream vacation we were able to keep our family in one place and enjoy all they had to offer s'mores by the fire, swimming everyday all day my nieces and nephews were able to come over n enjoy the pool everyday also n there was even an extra room for them to stay in they had so many towels also which was appreciated. They had extra baby equipment high chair bouncer, play penWe had breakfast with the waffle bar it was an amazing stay I will definitely stay there again

Excellent location. Pool area is very large and closer to the house than it looks like in the photo

Beautiful home with wonderful activity areas including pool and game room. Very adequate kitchen including the equipment provided. Check in is very easy. No issues with wi fi access. Ample parking available. Host and Hostess could not be nicer and were most accommodating. Many towels provided and washer and dryer are available to use.

Perfect for a family

Our family met here for Thanksgiving - we had three teenagers two parents and a dog. The house was perfect for our needs - we especially enjoyed the game room! The property manager was very helpful and great to work with.

Our time at the Greenwood house was outstanding! The backyard is beautiful, especially the wonderful pool! We also loved sitting on the porch in the evening. Very relaxing. The house itself is very roomy and comfortable and the primary bathroom shower and tub were fantastic. Also, my granddaughter (and us!) loved the game room. Overall, an excellent place to stay and I will again next time we are in the Indianapolis area. Ps - very responsive and friendly hosts, as well!

My family stayed at this property to attend the Indy 500 this year and we couldn’t be happier with the place! Had plenty of room for all 8 of us, was clean and had everything we needed! We also loved the pool! Definitely recommend it to anyone else with a big group!

As Described (With a Fabulous Pool)

We had a great time on our trip. The pool was outstanding--beautifully maintained with lots of toys for the kids. The host was responsive and very accommodating for any questions we had or support we needed. Would absolutely stay again if we're back in the area.

College Friends Gathering

Stayed here for the Indy 500 weekend and enjoyed the property a great deal. There were 9 of us and the house was spacious and clean. Close to grocery and restaurants needed for the weekend. Great outdoor spaces to make enjoying the nice weather very easy.

Eclipse visit

We had a wonderful time, in part because it was such a nice place to stay. We were especially thrilled with the huge yard. It was the wrong time of year for the pool. We watched the eclipse from the back deck, one of several. I'd be happy to stay there again

4 night stay

Stayed here with my college wrestling team for a national tournament at University of Indy. 10 of us all together. Everything was as advertised. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Very nice game room, plenty of TV’s, internet service, washer and dryer, etc. Highly recommend if your staying with a group in the Indianapolis area!

Great place

Wonderful old home!! The communication with the owners was wonderful!! Pool was awesome as the game room. Bring a fan if you are staying in the summer the upstairs gets a little warm but still not bad. Also instructions need to be put upstairs on how to use the TV but all & all beautiful place!!

Very nice pool house.

Nice older home with plenty of space. We cooked most of our own food. The tvs were good, and the giant playroom was comfy and fun. The pool was great, and all of us spent a ton of time in the pool! I never left the premises the entire time.

Spacious home for big group

We had a large group attending the Eucharistic Congress at Lucas Oil Stadium. This house was not only a great size for a group, but was also very convenient for an easy drive in and out of the city. The kitchen was convenient and big enough for a large group to cook together, the front porch was a peaceful place to pray in the morning, and the pool was phenomenal! Pat was a great communicator before and during our stay.

Friends meet up!

Indianapolis was a middle ground for group of friends living in different states. Our draw was bringing the kids to the Children's Museum and wanted to stay somewhere we could hang out together that was kids friendly. A perk in our search if we could find out was a pool side we were traveling in the summer. We came across Greenwood Mansion and were lucky they had availability for the weekend we needed! The house had plenty of room for all 10 of us, the kids LOVED the upstairs game room, the pool area was a great addition to the weekend. Greenwood was just a short drive to downtown Indianapolis so getting to the Children's Museum was very easy. The hosts were easy to contact with any questions we had! If we ever meet up in the area again, we would definitely look into booking here again!

College softball reunion

There was plenty of fun activities to do together. There are also great places to relax and chat. The pool is GREAT! The arcade game is AWESOME! Ping pong was AWESOME! Kitchen has everything you need. This is a great place to have a celebration or party. Things that need improving......You need to bring your own towels. Property needs newer, thicker, and bigger towels for pool and bathing. Get rid of ALL the carpet. Furniture looks great, but is very uncomfortable. Pressure wash the house. Fix back deck stairs and handrail to pool area. They are dangerous.

Good but not great

Pool needed a demarcation rope between shallow and deep end. Stairs from deck in disrepair. loud street noise on Thursday and Friday due to the proximity of the busy road. The property owners directly south used a diesel truck to enter and exit their property creating a lot of noise near the pool area. There was not a single place or piece of furniture for the adults to sit in. such as a large comfy chair or couch. Pool itself was very good. The porch was a good place to sit and relax but it needed a few extra pieces of furniture. The kitchen was large and welcoming.

Nice but missed the mark

We enjoyed staying at this house and there were some nice features, but we did have some issues and felt the description was a bit misleading. We had a hard time finding a place for everyone to sleep (6 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler, 1 infant). We also had a hard time keeping the house cool even though temps only got up to the 80's and we kept windows and doors closed. All the bedrooms except master are upstairs and next to each other. It was too hot to sleep most nights. We tried cooking in the oven but it immediately billowed black smoke and we decided to just use the stovetop to cook. Otherwise it was a nice place. It was probably really nice 20 years ago, but some things have gone unattended to.

Brand new heat and air conditioner downstairs and trane heat pump upstairs. The guests left the doors opened and the frequency in and out froze the brand new system completely. The stove was recently self-cleaned and has some smoke when it hasn’t been used in a while. This is 5* place with everything you can imagine.

Great pool, okay house

I was in Greenwood for a family wedding. We needed a large house and this one's pretty large. The pool is large and in excellent condition. I don't know if it is heated but the water was pleasantly warm while we were there. It is surrounded by a deck with a table and chairs and there are lots of pool toys. The house also has a large game room with foosball, an arcade style video game, a television with streaming apps, a ping pong table, and lots of space and seating for a large group to gather. The rest of the house left me wishing it was nicer. The kitchen is in good condition and well equipped. It has a dining table in it but the actual dining room is mostly empty. The living room has a couch and one comfortable chair, not enough seating for eight adults. The downstairs bathroom is pretty nice but the upstairs bathroom needs an update. There are not enough towels for a large party, only one extra blanket, and no extra pillows. And for some reason there are no hand towels. None. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the listing shows a fifth bedroom with a futon in it that is actually the LAUNDRY ROOM. All-in-all I was disappointed with this rental.

Ever had a renter that complained the entire stay? Pretty much nothing was right from the get go with this renter. Complaints every day, which is a first for us after more than 100+ renters at our home that has achieved "Premier Host Status". We have plenty of linens / sheets /pillows at the house and a quick call would have solved that issue. There are 16 chairs in the house that can be moved to any location at anytime and many more outdoors. The beds are <5 years old and are premium mattresses. Again, first complaint on the beds / comfort. The home is listed as "country living" and is located outside of the city a totally renovated 1871 farm house with many additions/extras and we go far beyond to make sure all of our guests have everything they need for their stay.

The perfect weekend

My husband and I loved this property. We rented the house for my 50th birthday. We had family and friends over all weekend long. The pool was fantastic. Easy to operate. The house was very clean and welcoming. We look forward to a possible future stay. Would highly recommend this property.
