Great Place for family

We had a great time with our 3 young kids! They enjoyed the pool, hot tub, swing set, spacious backyard, basketball hoop, air hockey, and video arcade. The property was exceptionally clean.

Perfect for a Family getaway complete w/ Hot Tub and Private Pool. Our host Raj was on top of every detail including some excellent restaurant recommendations. We'll be back!

Nice property for families

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. We had 4 adults and 7 kids here, and we all felt we had plenty of space. The playroom and basement were very nice for the kids, and we all enjoyed the pool. It's not far at all from Indianapolis, but there was enough to do at the property (and we had good weather) that we just stayed at the property the whole time.The owner is a little intense with long messages reiterating the house rules several times, a wifi network that forces you to opt in to their marketing emails in order to use it, and security cameras all throughout the property, which I never feel good about. But we still had a great time and would likely go back again if the opportunity arose.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Retreat! The home was very nicely decorated in bohemian style. Everything was nice and clean inside and out, towels were provided on every bed - even the shampoo/conditioner/body wash was stocked! The pool was spacious enough for the whole family to jump in, and the firepit was a great space to gather for s'mores! The kiddos loved the play set in the backyard, and the yard has plenty of space to run around! There were so many squirrels in the trees and along the fence. Very beautiful home and close to Indy where there is so much to do, if you even wanna leave the house! The house is also tucked away in a very nice, clean neighborhood so we went out for walks as well. It was a very peaceful weekend getaway at The Retreat!

Beautiful property, great host!

This is a beautiful home and has fun things for all ages! We came in the winter but this would be so nice in warm weather with the pool, fire ring, swing set, etc. The house was immaculately clean. Beds are memory foam - very nice. The host was fantastic. He was easy to contact and very helpful. The property is also close to shopping and in a nice neighborhood that felt very safe. A great stay!

Needed to be updated and maintenance done starting at the front door. Bunk beds were wobbly, swing set was not in a safe shape.Plastic hanging off dining room light. Switch wouldn’t work on living room light. Needed a good general cleaning. Bad odor in the basement level. Just to name a few.

Relaxing trip with family

This was our first trip as a family in a very long time. Our two adult children, their spouses & kids ( ages 6 yrs, 2yrs, 1-1/2yrs) had a wonderful time! They loved the house & the pool! The swing set got a lot of use. So happy this home provided items for children. The playroom was a hit for the little ones! The slide was perfect for them. We had so much room to move around in the home. Very clean and quiet neighborhood. We were close to many parks, splash pads, restaurants & Childrens Museum. Family had a great time!

Not clean at all, torn counter tops etc...

The location didn't not appear to have been cleaned prior to stay. My wife and our kids checked in prior to my arrival. Some Images are attached, I have videos as well that show more but this website will not let me load them. Ants all over the wall, stained bedding, AC didn't work up stairs, The fridge was dirty and had an odor, microwave was nasty, dishes were dirty and the hot tub had enough chemicals in it that the kids had a hard time being in it. The pool itself was great, check in and out was easy, the neighborhood was ok but not a high end area like the advertisement makes its sound. This house is not worth the money we've spent and I will go back to AirBnb as Ive never had this issue with them.

Family Weekend

My husband and I stayed the weekend with our 3 sons and their spouses and our 4 grandchildren, ages 2 and under. The house was perfect for our needs! The house is set up to be very child friendly-our littles loved the playroom! The availability of a high chair and stroller at the property was very helpful as well. The beds are comfortable, there was plenty of hot water for all of us and we had beautiful weather to fully enjoy the backyard play set, grill and fire pit. I got communication from the host every step of the way, although we had no needs-everything in The house functioned just as it should. The neighborhood was quiet-we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to any family with small children.

Solid place to stay

The amminities were nice at this property. The owner is a bit much with their continuous followup, and obsessition with making sure you know thier "rules". I thought it was great that there were house rules, but the owner stressed them no less than on 4 seperate occasions. The only other concern is the nuber of security cameras the seemed to activate for no reason. May indicate the owner watches this actively. Aside from that the house is fairly solid if in a bit of disrepair a number of loose tiles in the bathroom and the decking has seen many better days. Overall a solid stay and way better than a hotel. This property is also located on one of the lowest crime areas in Indy, which is a huge plus. I am not sure I would go with this same property for my next stay, but it was a fine property and a solid stay. I do not believe you will be unhappy with the property if you stay here but just be aware the owner is a bit much, and will send mini novels for you to read and fast responses seem expected. All thing considered I can recommend the property, as long as over communication is not going to bother you.
