Aransas Channel Dock & Fishing Pier on Harbor Island

Enjoy our newly constructed cottage and patio that faces beautiful Redfish Bay and South Bay.
Bay Dock Cottage has a patio deck, a boat dock, a 100’ fishing pier with lights, a patio and lots of parking. Our two bedroom 2 1/2 bath house sits next to the 14’ deep Aransas Channel. Shrimp boats and fishing boats use this waterway to navigate local bays as they make their way to and from the Gulf of America through the jetties. This is a family friendly property. We are located 3 miles east of Conn-Brown Harbor and 3 miles west of the Port A Ferry.

We stayed here first part of October and it was fantastic. Fishing off the porch/pier we caught tons of fun fish. The house was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Enjoyed the whole stay!

This was our second year staying at this fantastic location. The house is perfect and walking right out to the pier to fish is the best part of it all. Everything you could possibly need for a great time is right there. Bait shop next door is so convenient and the daily sighting of the dolphins is wonderful. We will definitely be back next year.

Love this place! Right on the water so fish from backyard! Super clean, nicely decorated and with all the necessary items provided. We stay here 2 times a year. Love the owners too. Great people.

Great spot for a relaxing time

We enjoyed our stay at bay dock cottage. The views were amazing. We fished everyday and enjoyed catching plenty of fish. Dolphins swam by several times every day. If you are looking for a place not too far from the beach but prefer a little quieter vibe, this place is definitely it.

Family Getaway!

3 adults, 5 kids - before the first full day was over everyone was begging to make this an annual trip! The pictures don’t do it justice! Perfect location! Not only on the water, but close enough to the bigger places you can get there fairly quickly and easily without the business of the city! Accommodations were more than accommodating! I almost forgot! There’s a bait shop next door (we caught some and bought some!) and the kids and adults all caught fish! I would recommend staying here and it sounds like we’ll be back!

If you just need a place to come and get away from it all, this is it. The property is easily accessible, but highly private, with no close neighbors, so you really get the feeling you are off the beaten path, and can relax and experience a degree of solitude, while really unwinding.
