This all-ensuite 3 bed/3.5 bath cottage offers beautiful views overlooking the 8th Hole of Pinehurst National, the prestigious course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Located at the center of the action for Pinehurst and Southern Pines play, Legacy Cottage is one of few stays in this elite, gated community. This gorgeous property is well-equipped and furnished for comfort and convenience. You've found your place to stay... now get ready to relax and unwind!
One dog is welcome to stay for a nightly fee of $25 (fee collected after booking with pet agreement). Weight limit is 50 lb. *Note- dog must always remain on a leash when outdoors. The property is not fenced! SERVICE ANIMALS ALWAYS WELCOME
Parking is available for 1-2 vehicles at the house; additional parking just down the hill near the clubhouse.

Wonderful House on #9 Course Pinehurst

We came to Pinehurst for a wedding. This is a prefect location and beautiful home near one of the greens on #9 Course (#1 rated public course in USA).Everywhere we need to go (rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception) were all within 8-10 minutes of where we stayed. Also met friends for lunch in Southern Pines Village; also just minutes away.We definitely will be back!

Great place and great location

This property is one of the best we have ever stayed in. It is clean and the hosts have thought of everything. The house is big and having the 3 suite bedrooms is perfect. The location is beautiful and has a magnificent view of No.9 . It is close to the Pinehurst club and the village. We would stay there again

Family Holiday weekend

In a word… Outstanding! We absolutely loved the location and neighborhood - spectacular golf bourse views and a great, fully equipped kitchen for family meals! Owners, Erin and Joe could not have been nicer and were attentive to even small questions we had. Thank you so much and we’ll definitely be back for another vacation stay!!

A Fabulous Getaway

This home is simply gorgeous. Comes with so many special touches and everything needed for a perfect getaway. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend for couples as the 3 MBR’s worked great for our 3 couples. We are already planning our trip for next year.

Far and away the best property we’ve ever stayed. Our hosts left no stone unturned in providing first class accommodations including many thoughtful personal touches. Wonderful rental

The most well-appointed home I have ever rented. Clean, well maintained, beautiful views, adequate parking, accommodated small children and our small dog. Everything you could need in the kitchen, laundry, bathrooms and outside. Located across from the pool and tennis courts. You can check in here and just bring food, everything else is provided. We had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone young or old.

Stunning and peaceful

My first impression was how serene and peaceful the home and area were. I was in Pinehurst to bury my parents, so it was awesome to immediately feel relaxed and pampered. 2 of children and 3 of my grandchildren were with me….perfect place to enjoy each others’ company. Beds are super comfy. Kitchen well equipped (bring your own oil and seasonings other than salt and pepper. Coffee was provided! Shampoo, crème rinse, and body wash also provided. We sat on the deck with cocktails and enjoyed the golf course view. Great location….awesome rental. Highly recommended.

You might be confused about the title of my review. When I say EVERY bed in the house has the best and most comfortable mattress on which I have ever had the opportunity to rest my head, you'll understand. This property was top drawer all the way. Two huge bedrooms upstairs, each with ensuite bathroom, and an equally enormous master downstairs with large bathroom and closet. The kitchen and living area are well designed for comfort and entertaining, and the situation in the back gave us ample enjoyable viewing of passing golfers! Erin and Joe were quick to answer any question or issue that came up and I never waited more than a moment for a response. They unsolicitedly offered up suggestions for places to take my grandchildren for fun outings (which I greatly appreciated). I recommend Legacy cottage at a 5 star plus! If you have any thoughts about visiting the Sandhills, I doubt you'll find anything better.

This was our 2nd time. It’s a perfect home for 3 couples since it’s a 3 MBR. Hosts are easy to communicate with. Only negative is both times we’ve stayed there the fireplace has not worked. This has been a disappointment however we would stay there again.

Fabulous golf view house with 5 star feel.

Terrific property close to Pinehurst #9 Golf Course!!! 10 minutes from Club House Pinehurst and main hotels. House itself was amazing with top notch comfortable beds and amenities that made our stay very memorable!!! We will definitely be back.

First time playing in the U.S. Kids National tournament

This property is extremely nice, and comfortable. Our kids were golfing and we utilized the course and the green every evening so they could practice.. The home is laid out well, the bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen is perfectly laid out and there are a lot of amenities there that you don't find in other houses...Washer soap, dishwasher soap, shampoo, nice towels, pool nearby and the food at the club is ok... WE enjoyed our stay there immensely and will book again when the kids qualify for the tournament next year...
