Two local companies offer visitors access from Winter Harbor (the village next door) and Bar Harbor. The Bar Harbor-Winter Harbor Ferry travels between Bar Harbor and Winter Harbor. The route through spectacular Frenchman Bay passes lighthouses, mountains, mansions, and working lobstermen.
The Schoodic Ferry connects passengers, their bicycles, and leashed pets to the Bar Harbor from Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Peninsula. Relax as you cruise between Bar Harbor and Winter Harbor, unconcerned about traffic or parking during your 45-minute ferry ride.
