The house was beautiful and the host was wonderful to work with. We really enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing of the water. We were close to the Schoodic Peninsula side of Acadia so that was perfect for us.

The house is in a great location - secluded but very close to the Schoodic Peninsula, which we either cycled or hiked everyday. House was well stocked with everything we needed. Bonus is the garage, which we used for our bikes.

Very clean and comfortable house. The ocean view was spectacular! Saw several seals and dolphins swimming by. Also saw several eagles and deer daily!

Lovely house right on the water. Great star watching and easy access to Schoodic side of Acadia. Loved hiking both sides of Acadia. Property well described and was fully equipped. Great communication about house and local area.

Everything was great. The stairs for the loft are off the master bedroom so keep in mind the kids will be able to come in and out through there. The views are great. There’s a swimming beach not far away. Great place to see Acadia from. Zero problems with this property.

This property is an hour drive from the more popular area of Acadia. It’s in a beautiful area and right on the ocean- very nice. Very clean and pretty well stocked - a little short on towels for 5 people. Alison was wonderful to work with. Very friendly and paid attention to the details which is rare these days so we really appreciated that!

The property is as listed in the property description. The area is peaceful and the view of the golf/ocean is excellent. The living area was spacious for 4 of us. . The beds on the 3 rd floor are a nice addition but accessing them through the master could be tricky with a bigger group. Would make a good place for kids to stay. We had a great time putting a puzzle during our stay There are places to get food nearby and markets to buy necessities. Bigger grocery trips to Ellsworth is about a 45 min drive or there is a grocery store in Bar harbor if already making a trip there.

Perfect retreat for a sisters vacation

The view was beautiful with spectacular sunrises. Loved the 4 bedrooms so we could each have our own bedroom and privacy if we wanted.

The location was great, very private and the view was awesome. The sunrises were spectacular and the house accommodated us all nicely. Bar Harbor is just a ferry ride away or you can drive. Acadia NP is a must see. We drove to Bangor and it was a very nice drive.

Beautiful home located on the water. Everything we needed for our stay was there. Kids loved tide pooling on the rocky beach. Enjoyed evenings around the fire pit with Smores. Great family place. Restaurants are limited but what was there was quite good.

Great Vacation Home

The Schoodic Oeninsula is a hidden gem and this house was perfect! I would totally stay again. Hosts were responsive and everything you could need was provided.

This fully equipped house was better than promised! It was clean and beautiful and so comfortable.We loved staying here and the view was amazing!! It was easy to get to everywhere we needed to go from here and Alison was always easy to reach and pleasant. If I could give this a rating higher than 5 stars I certainly would! What an awesome vacation home!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed the house it was clean and perfect for our family. It was exciting to see the lobster boats, seals and schools of fish out in front of the house.
