This Spider Lake Cottage is the perfect place to enjoy the natural beauty of Spider Lake in comfort. The interior has been freshly painted, new carpet, two freshly remodeled bathrooms and new furniture home is tastefully decorated, and offers all amenities including; air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, crisp new linens for all beds and baths, and a Foosball table for family fun. Large windows upstairs and downstairs frame beautiful year-round views of the lake. There is 60' of private sandy frontage and dock for excellent swimming. Enjoy a sunset BBQ on the upper deck after a day on the lake, wander down the unpaved road through the woods, or head to downtown Traverse City (just 15 minutes away) for shopping, dining or sightseeing. Two kayaks and two paddle boards for use on the 450 acre all sports lake.

Internet, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 6 and pet friendly!

There is security camera on the front and back of the house.

Great home and beautiful view of the lake! Property is exactly as shown on listing. Street is quiet and cute to walk. Only 25min drive from downtown traverse city which was great. My one minor complaint would be that the main bed isn’t very comfortable. Overall great stay and we’d go back.

We loved being on the lake for coffee in the morning and for wine/cheese in the evening. Best stocked kitchen in any vrbo....everything we needed. When the electricity went out on the second morning, Cary texted me with the expected return of power. I left my ipad by the bed and Cary wrapped it perfectly and returned to me priority mail. Couldn't ask for a better host!

The cottage has a great view of the lake and plenty of windows to enjoy it! It rained most of our stay so we didn’t get the opportunity to enjoy the deck for relaxation. It was clean and comfortable, however, so that was relaxing! The host was readily available and answered my questions promptly. Overall, the weather was the only downside of our stay on Spider Lake. Great place! Excellent condition! Great waterfront with clear sandy bottom next to the dock. The cottage is well stocked! Great fishing lake! We would stay there again for sure! Only caution would be to any older or handicap guests may find the steps to the lake a little daunting. Cary is very responsive to any questions or concerns!

Quiet getaway

The cabin was everything that was advertised. It has beautiful views of Spider Lake and was perfect for a quiet week away. Having boogie boards and kayaks on property was a huge plus. Little bit damp in the downstairs bedroom. The board games and foosball table were also a plus for the family. It was close enough to Traverse City for visits to the bay.

We had the best time! It was a beautiful property that gave us a wonderful week of bonding as a family! We swam, paddle boarded, fished, kayaked, relaxed, and just spent uninterrupted family time together. It was exceptional having the stocked kitchen with supplies and also a laundry room. We loved all of the incredible views and felt like a home away from home. It was nice not having to feel like we had to go anywhere because there was so much to do there. We also loved the guest book and leaving a rock with our family name. Personal touches and comfort was very evident. We definitely plan to return if they will have us!

Had a great time in Traverse City. The cottage had a beautiful view of Spider Lake, and the home itself was cozy. A well-stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner.

Didn’t Want to Leave!

This was our first visit to Michigan we fell in love. The cottage was in the perfect spot to explore the area - and to just sit back and relax. We enjoyed the sunrise every morning, kayaking, paddle boarding and sitting on the dock just enjoying the view. The cottage had everything we could possibly need and was very clean. We just loved everything about it!

This Place Is Fantastic!

We had a restful stay in this beautiful house by the lake. The house had everything we would ever need, was quiet, and just far enough off the beaten path to give us the solitude we wanted. The owners were easy to communicate with and promptly replied to our questions. We'll be back!

Beautiful quiet location right on the lake

House had all amenities we needed. Two baths, modern kitchen an amazing view from the back deck. We had a relaxing stay at this cozy house. Called Shawn’s boat rental and they delivered a pontoon right to our dock on Spider Lake! Just lovely. Highly recommended.

Beautiful lake cabin

We loved our stay at this beautiful home on Spider Lake. Everything about it is welcoming and cozy! To begin, the view cannot be beat and the deck overlooking the lake was a favorite hangout, especially in the morning and the evening. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was extremely well-kept. We look forward to staying here again!

July 2024 Spider Lake Family of Five

Property was as described-clean and very comfortable. Great view of the lake and sand bottom for swimming. Fishing was quite good off the dock as well and the kids enjoyed the paddleboards. Would definitely stay again in the future.
