Notre chalet est sĂ»r de vous offrir l'escapade dans le nord que vous recherchez! Que vous soyez le type aventurier qui veut faire du ski nautique, ou le pĂȘcheur Ă  la recherche de la pĂȘche Ă  l'achigan ou au dorĂ©, ou que vous vouliez simplement vous dĂ©tendre sur vos 100 'de plage de sable privĂ©e, nous sommes certains que notre chalet rĂ©pondra Ă  vos envies de vacances. Mon mari et moi avons achetĂ© ce chalet en octobre et l'avons rĂ©novĂ© en dĂ©cembre 2016. Nous avons de nouveaux appareils, planchers, meubles, lits, literie et serviettes en acier inoxydable. (Pour cette raison, nous n'autorisons pas les animaux de compagnie ou de fumer de toute nature dans notre propriĂ©tĂ©). Notre maison est situĂ©e au bout d'un cul de sac privĂ©, Ă  seulement 15 pieds de la belle plage de sable et du bord de l'eau. Notre quartier offre un parc privĂ© juste Ă  la fin de notre rue calme oĂč vous pouvez avoir une partie familiale de baseball, de volley-ball, de disc-golf et laisser les plus petits se balancer et jouer sur la structure de jeu. Le plaisir que vous pouvez avoir ici est illimitĂ©! Nous avons un pĂ©dalo, un canoĂ«, un kayak, une planche Ă  pagaie, un quai privĂ©, un trou de maĂŻs, un croquet, un grill pour vos prises du jour et un foyer pour s'mores et assis aprĂšs une longue journĂ©e de natation ou de ski nautique. L'emplacement ne pourrait pas ĂȘtre mieux pour votre escapade dans le nord! Nous sommes Ă  moins de 5 minutes du cĂ©lĂšbre Boone's Long Lake Inn et Ă  environ 10 minutes du "meilleur glacier" d'AmĂ©rique ... MOOMERS! Nous ne sommes qu'Ă  environ 15 minutes du centre-ville de Traverse City. PrĂšs de nombreux Ă©tablissements vinicoles, restaurants, Interlochen Arts Academy, et Ă  environ 30 minutes des dunes de sable Ă  couper le souffle. Nous sommes ravis de vos prochaines vacances en famille Ă  Long Lake Cottage; sĂ»r d'ĂȘtre rempli de bons souvenirs.

This was a great place to stay, inside and out. It was clean and had what we needed. My toddler son loved playing on the sandy beach and in the water with the stand up paddle boards and pedal boat. I would recommend it for a relaxing time away.

Perfect Lakeside cabin. Clean, well furnished and equipped and perfect location. Just feed from Long Lake. Easy to get to and check in was simple. Host lives next-door, which was very nice if I needed anything she was available, but there was nothing needed.

We rented this unit for a week in July with my young family and it was perfect! The water sports made for easy kid entertainment and the views were excellent. The hosts were great to rent from and very accommodating and responsive. I recommend!

We had a great stay! It's a great location close to Traverse City, as well as Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. The cottage has beautiful views of Long Lake, making you feel like you are right on top of the the water!

What a beautiful spot! Very clean and quiet!! We had a little rain so the patio was a great place to hangout. My family enjoyed their time and asked to come back next year! Owner was very friendly! Five stars for sure !!

Beautiful Family Cottage!

We had the BEST getaway ever! The peaceful and beautiful setting was just what we needed. The location was great, close to almost everything that Traverse City has to offer. The cottage felt like home and had all the amenities and more that I would expect. Can't wait to come back.

Great “Up North” Vacay

We loved our time here. Our two kids enjoyed the mini beach and lake and kayaking/paddle boarding/etc. Fabulous location where you feel relaxed and away from the world but still close enough to get food and groceries and the comforts we enjoy. We will be back for sure!

Family Vacation

Our famiy vacation went great, so much to do in Traverse City area. Jason and Suzy were great hosts, helped with anything we needed. The house is in a great location and kept very clean. We had a few barbecue cookouts, and had a great time eating, playing and boating!

A great time!

Perfect quiet little cabin with great water access. Water was clean and lake was clear with little muckiness to it. We had a great time with our two children (2 under 4) and they couldn’t get enough of the pale boat and lake access. We will definitely be back!

Great week on Long Lake!

My husband and I brought our 8-year-old and 16-month-old to Long Lake for a week vacation. The cottage was right on the water and had a wonderful little beach for the kids to play on. Suzy and Jason were exceptional hosts! We would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin close to everything!

Thank you very much for hosting me at the cottage on Long Lake in Traverse City! The kitchen and bathroom are brand new and the decor is very nice throughout the cottage. I especially loved the covered patio for drinks and BBQ. What a peaceful spot steps from the water! Listening to the loons calling was another highlight. Comfy beds and very clean throughout! I hope to be back next summer!

Holiday getaway

We had the perfect stay at this charming waterfront property. We enjoyed all it had to offer: the outdoor patio area, the fire pit by the water in the evening for smore's, and the water gear (paddleboat and stand up kayak). The host was more than accommodating to our needs and had a sweet treat upon our arrival. Besides our fabulous stay, we left forming new friendships that we hope continue to flourish.

Lake Life

The property is literally next to the lake, which makes for an incredible view. All necessary amenities and comfort for a small family. Communication was excellent throughout, and any questions were answered in a timely manner. If you’re looking to enjoy a lake with your own private beach, this is the place for you.

Great getaway

The house was perfect in every way. It had all of the essentials (which made packing so much easier), very clean, and the location was perfect. I had my three boys with me (16, 12, 6yrs old) and fun was had by all. Owners were very responsive to my questions prior to arrival. Very easy check-in/out process. Will definitely recommend this place to others and hopefully be back in the future!

Relaxing retreat

We had a wonderful getaway to Long Lake in the Traverse City area. Jason and Suzy were very hospitable and provided a comfortable and accessible location for our family to enjoy the beach and lake. The stand up paddle board, kayaks and paddle boat were great for enjoying the lake. The fire pit was perfect for making s’mores and enjoying the sunset. And the Weber grill was perfect for making burgers and ribs. Highly recommend!

Quintessential Lake Getaway

This cottage is so comfy and was everything we wanted and needed for our get away. The bed was super comfortable and the living spaces spacious and well-appointed. Windows everywhere provided lovely views of Long Lake and there are so many cozy corners to curl up in and enjoy the view and the sounds of lake life. The hosts were kind and hospitable without being intrusive. We had everything we needed in the cottage and the hosts provided wonderful tips for the local farmers market and even a neighborhood walking path. They are super responsive too which is always helpful when you have a question! After a few days back at home, I find myself dreaming each morning of that first sip of coffee as the sun rises over the lake and all the birds start to stir. We fell completely in love with the whole area and can’t wait to go back!

We bought this unique property in the fall of 2016 and realized the importance of sharing it with other families to create many lasting memories. Life is so busy and so fast, we know the value in taking time out to spend it with the ones you love.

First and foremost, Long Lake is our favorite lake in Northern Michigan. The fishing and swimming are awesome. It is very clean and close to downtown Traverse City. It has a few great islands to hike and explore the wildlife. You can even order a pizza from the Long Lake Grocery and boat across the lake on your rented pontoon to the public dock to pick it up! Aside from that, this property has one of the nicest beaches on the lake. It is so serene in the cove and just a perfect getaway spot.
