Year Round Peaceful Getaway in a Prime Location
Start your day sitting peacefully out on the deck just feet from the water's edge or on the private dock watching the bass jump out of the water. Throw a line in the water from the dock or jump in your boat and go fishing for Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike or Walleye (as well as a multitude of panfish).

If you like to power your own watercraft, South Lindstrom Lake is part of the Chisago Lakes Water Trail and connects to many other surrounding lakes.

Just across the lake is Lindstrom, a vibrant small town that revels in it's community events and busy Main Street.

A short drive and you're hiking in a state park or viewing fall colors in the beautiful St. Croix River Valley. All along the way, all year long, there are towns and shops, activities and attractions.

When you're done for the day, grab a beverage and relax on the couch as you gaze out at the lake. Take a hot shower to warm up from a day of ice fishing, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Start a fire in the fire pit next to the lake for some S'mores or to cook up your catch of the day. Take out the kayaks or paddleboat (provided) for some spectacular sunset views. The choice is yours, come enjoy Central Minnesota, come enjoy the Lake. You are Welcome!

This lovely house was exactly what we wanted. I loved the layout and being right on the lake, the view was serene and peaceful. The kitchen was very well stocked and organized. The hosts were great and very responsive. We loved it.

This sweet lakefront cottage was perfect for time on the water and relaxing with my family! We took the paddle boat and kayaks out on the lake and even got to check out a local beaver. It was a beautiful place to wake up and see the lake out the window and have early evening fire pit nights—highly recommended

We had such a nice relaxing weekend at this cabin! It was super clean, well furnished, and had everything you need. The host is very attentive and the check-in/check-out process was very simple and straightforward. We would highly recommend this place for a nice weekend getaway and would love to come back again!

Great lake view. Nice cabin for 4 people. Heat works well. Full kitchen. Bathroom could use updating and the water tasted very metallic. The beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Slept so well. Very quiet areas. Close to Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and much better than the local hotels. Overall, a very good place to stay. 4.5/5 Stars

Water access was basically null and void due to overgrowth of weeds and lilly pads. Definitely need to update the pictures on the listing, no sandy beachfront, unable to swim, and fish off dock due to weeds. Making it hard to get water toys out without trudging through mud and weeds. Water on lake way down I am assuming, but should have been told this ahead of time. Otherwise it was nice and relaxing if you didn't want to do much.

Pleased with the cozy cabin

The dock was enjoyed and lake front wild life feeding. We even caught fish off the dock and enjoyed a campfire.

We enjoyed our stay, visiting wineries nearby. The cabin had what we needed, but could use some TLC/updating. Host was very responsive and friendly.

Nice views from the living room and deck! Was a quiet and relaxing stay. Paul was very responsive and available if needed something. Had everything needed for nice stay! Will definitely return.

Greetings! We are Paul and Kate Blake. We have been married for 12 years, have two children (ages 11 and 9) and live in Maple Grove, MN (our primary residence).

We recently bought this lake house as a second home for our family. We have traveled to this part of Minnesota for getaways since before we had children. Now as a family, the Chisago Lakes area still has plenty to offer us. We have stayed at many VRBO properties across the country and are now excited to be able to host our own property. We love this area of Minnesota, we hope you will too.
