Chula Vista Cabin - In Town - Pet Friendly

Welcome to one of Red River’s oldest cabins...Chula Vista Cabin!
Step back into Red River history into one of the first log cabins built in Red River. The Pierce-Fuller Cabin is a Red River landmark and listed in the National Register of Historic Places Collection.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Red River with great views of the slopes of the Red River Ski Area, you are 1/2 block to Main street, downtown breweries, restaurants, shops, Red River Ski Area and Brandenburg Park.

Chula Vista is a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath luxury cabin on the West End of town. This 2 story piece of history has recently been impeccably remodeled. It has everything a modern home offers with a fully stocked kitchen, wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV, newer beds, plenty of room, and breathtaking views from every corner of the cabin. Every room is carefully designed with family in mind.

The first floor features a king bedroom and another bedroom with 2 queen beds. The first floor bathroom has a beautiful tiled shower with glass door. There is also a huge laundry/mud room area with a full size washer and dryer.

The second floor features another two gorgeous bedrooms with 2 queen beds in each room. There is a bathroom with a shower and another 1/2 bath with a toilet and vanity.

Sit and watch the Torchlight Parade and fireworks in winter from the comfort of your porch swing, get a perfect seat for the annual 4th of July parade under the shade of the big trees on your picnic table. Are you looking to come for Memorial Weekend and our Annual Bike Rally? It doesn’t get better than this. Bring your friends, check out the bikes, see what the vendors have to offer and come back to enjoy your little piece of heaven. Within walking distance to stores, restaurants, and entertainment but just hidden enough to give you the privacy you seek. The perfect getaway spot in our beautiful mountain town.

The Cabin‘s location is unreal in relation to all the things you want to do in Red River, whether it be skiing shopping or eating at any of the restaurants
 The location is unmatched. The Cabin Feel is great Customer Service was awesome
 Only thing that we would’ve appreciated was more drawers and storage space for clothes, staying there for a whole week was tough living out a suitcases.

Location is spot on. Very cozy cabin. Pots and pans need upgraded. The coating is coming off and this generation is weird about that lol. A knife sharpener would be great as well. Very nice place. There were 6 of us and perfect

Overall we were satisfied with our stay at the cabin. The location was ideal for our family, it is located right in town and walking distance to everything. The only thing that was disappointing was the cookware that we had to cook with. There was only two small skillets and they were rusted and not ideal to cook for a large group and only one pot. This said we would definitely rent again.

Great cabin!! Great location!!

This is the second time we have stayed at this location. There was a minor issue, reached out to the owners, and they resolved the situation in a very timely manner. I will definitely be staying here again, and I highly recommend this cabin for a couple or for a larger group. My family loved it!!!

Great place to stay in Red River

The place is very unique because of its age, yet it is modernized. The only complaint we had was many of the dishes were dirty when we got there and the washing machine did not work. Maintenance attempted to fix the washer, without success. Management gave us a discount because of this problem.

The property was as good as it could be considering it is a historical house. However, we felt the porch is an accident waiting to happen. The yard also had some issues. For a family of 12 staying the amount of necessity items (Toilet paper & trash bags) was not enough and to get more their suggestion was the local market. I`m talking two trash bags and two rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)!

Girls Class of 1968 Annual Reunion

Property was Ok. Only complaints were dirty dishes in the cabinets, mouse problem, many windows didn’t have curtains and house was not up to our standards as far as cleanliness. We’ve been staying in VRBO properties for approximately 15 years and this house just wasn’t as clean as it should have been.

Lovely historic home

What a special home we had the joy of renting during our visit to Red River. This home has a long history in RR. It’s an amazing combination of preserved history with updated amenities. Loved it!

Amazing Renovated Piece of History

This historical log cabin has been beautifully renovated. The beds are comfortable and the overall space is great for adults and kids. The location is great too, at the edge of town right off of Main Street so it wasn’t too busy. We brought scooters for the kids to ride in front of the house, and it kept them busy for hours! The front porch has a great brow of the ski resort and is nice to watch the deer and also people walking around. The porch furniture needs to be updated as it has seen lots of use, I would recommend bringing your own lawn chairs until the cabin’s can be updated. There is plenty of parking for your cars and ATV trailers! Our family had an amazing experience and would stay here again!
