This tastefully decorated condo is part of the Carousel Hotel, which is famous for its ice rink and amenities mentioned above. Enjoy an oceanfront location with picture-perfect beach views and a convenient balcony. Cook up a masterpiece in the fully-equipped kitchen and surprise your group with tasty meals and beach snacks. Then, retreat to the inviting living room with a flatscreen TV to experience a relaxing evening watching TV.

This retreat features a den/sunroom that can be used as another bedroom/private sleeping area for your convenience.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The perfect condo!

Spacious condo with a great oceanfront view!! It has a well stocked kitchen. There is so much to do at Carousel, we had an amazing trip!

The view from the balcony is spectacular and the building's amenities are nice. That being said, look for a different condo unless you enjoy sleeping in an oven and don't plan on eating there.

Absolutely beautiful!!

1512 was incredible. The views are amazing! You get the sunrise in the front and the sunset in the back. This was beautiful. The condo had everything we needed. The ocean front patio was very big and had lots of chairs. Food Lion right across the street. We hope to come back next year. I would highly recommend this condo.

Can’t beat the location and amenities of Carousel. Unit was clean. Could use some general repairs/TLC and more/better pots and pans. But overall a nice condo. Amazing views.

The place itself was very nice and comforting. However the cleanliness could use some improvements... while looking for one of my children's toys, we looked under the couch, sofa and the beds. Let's just say they looked as if they never been moved to be cleaned under!!!

Great location. Condo is dirty and needs updating.

The location and the amenities of the condo are great. The condo was dirty, sandy and outdated. AC does not work well in the front room. The Wi-Fi did not work for the entirety of our stay. And the kitchen is lacking in silverware and basic dinnerware like bowls.

The unit was nice.

The condo was great for 5 adults and 2 kids (4 & 6). We had an issue with the air conditioning in the queen front bedroom and they did get someone in right away but it still didn’t fix the issue that the AC was not coming through the vent. Also we had to rewash dishes and silverware and the one frying pan because they were dirty. But it really was a nice place and we liked being away from the boardwalk. Lots of amenities and employees were all nice. I would rent there again.

View is wonderful. AC is Not adequate. Front of condo plenty cool, but the back bedrooms, especially the room with double beds, does not get cool. There is a floor air conditioner unit in the sunroom with a big piece of vent hose taped to the bayside window going outside, with a small tube in a 5 gallon bucket inside, that filled with water every other day and had to be emptied. The bucket was full of water when we arrived. The sunroom has a queen pullout, but there is also a china cabinet and dining room table in there (this is also where the bulky floor AC unit is) that room is not functional with the sleep sofa pulled out. The microwave, AC and the kitchen lights are on the same circuit, could only run microwave, without tripping the breaker, if all the lights were off. Smaller issues: all sliding closet doors difficult to open, some off their tracks. Only one sliding door of master shower opens. The Carosel is great, but look for a different condo.

I feel the condo could use some updates. AC did not reach the 3rd BR and the Alcove (comments that were made from previous reviews). It was not an overly hot week so it was not unbearable. Even though it was cleaned it just didn't look clean, maybe due to the age of the unit? Also this was the first time I was asked to strip beds and place in a blue bag, along with towels. Other family members who rented was not asked to do this.

Could have been perfect

Entering 1512 first cursory glance beautiful home beautiful view! Then entering the kitchen floor sticky and dirty, living room area carpet gritty and unswept. Washer and dryer full of linen from previous guest, used coffee grounds in unwashed coffee maker. Foyer and back bedroom at least 20 degrees hotter than whatever temp central air is set. Even when ALL 5 fans found throughout closets in the home. We spent 1.5 hours cleaning before we started our vacation. Contact with property manager was excellent prior to arrival. During visit contacted several times no response. The cleaning fee is very large the home needs to be clean!!

Horrible first experience using VRBO

I paid alot of money for the best condo for my families needs and I was shockingly disappointed. There were many cleanliness issues, the condo was in poor condition and felt like an econo lodge. The description left out a key detail about the ineffective cooling of front room and bedroom so my daughter suffered in miserable conditions. It was frustrating trying to resolve some of the issues and spent a good bit of time away from my family during the vacation trying to remedy the problems. I had very high expectations because I believe you get what you pay for. And in no way do I feel this condo was worth what i paid for 3 nights. We spent less money for 6 nights in a time share in Myrtle with Holiday Inn and that experience blows these accommodations away. I am very, very disenchanted with this whole experience using VRBO and Vacasa.

Lovely spot--but

Beautiful view in 2 directions! We found the condo clean and roomy for us (4 adults + 2 children). Good appliances and good linens. Air conditioning was adequate after batteries replaced in thermostat. On the down side, the elevator situation was very difficult. Two elevators serving 11 floors meant long waits and much crowding. The condo is fully equipped for wine drinkers: many wine glasses. But for families not so good. No bowls (anyone eat cereal?). No reusable plastic cups or dishes (anyone have children?). It is 100% breakable glass. Please buy a complete set of dinnerware and kids' dinnerware (available at Walmart)--much needed. Also please publicize what is available in beach chairs and beach toys. Would greatly simplify things.
