Stay at our grand skiing chalet right in the heart of Killington. Surround your family and friends with timeless style, while enjoying all the modern amenities, including gigabit internet and RokuTV. This house is well-positioned, nestled in the woods a few minutes from the slope, and right around the corner from The Garlic restaurant, The Pickle Barrel night spot, and the market.


Architect-designed luxury home with wide-plank floors and luxurious under-floor heating. Very rare in Killington!

Enjoy the spacious kitchen with a large dining room to seat all of your guests.

Outside relax in the large hot tub with views of the slopes. A Tesla EV charger is available for guests to use. Enjoy the coffee bar with espresso, drip, grinders, french press and tea options. A fine china tea and coffee set from Portugal is available for high tea!

You will have the entire property to yourselves.

Please note: If you need a pack `n play or a high chair - these must be requested in advance. When you reach out to us, we can provide a link to request these for a fee via BabyQuip.
‱ We enjoy our fine wood floors -- please do not wear a ski boots or scratchy shoes inside the home.
‱ Our entire home is non-smoking (e-cigs included). You may only smoke outdoors. There is a $500 fine for smoking in the house.
‱ Quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am. We use Minut, smart home technology that measures volume levels throughout the property and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. Summer 2025

Enjoyed our stay at RoyalBear! Lots of elbow room for kids and adults. Easy Check in, very clean, Kitchen was well appointed, and the hosts were responsive to questions during our stay. Nice touch with the locally made maple syrup and coffee as well as a personal note welcoming us! Convenient location as we wanted to take in the sights in Waterbury, Barre, Killington and Woodstock. Only negative was the main upstairs bedroom AC. Made the room extremely damp but without it on it was very warm. That being said, would definitely recommend to family and friends traveling as a large group and would stay again! Thank you for helping us make some great family memories with our children and grandchildren!

Spacious place with good amenities indoor and outdoor

The Royal Bear is a great place and centrally located from all the area attractions. We stayed with our parents and kids and everyone had something to do inside the house as well as outside during summer time. Dan and Holly were very helpful throughout the process and provided good instruction, also were very responsive of any queries. We would definitely love to stay there again.

We had a really nice time at this home. We did have a few issues with the AC units and the owners were very quick to respond and fix the issue. We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot, hosts & comfy beds!!

We had a group of 9 people, and the house was very accommodating. The master bedroom was beautiful! We stayed the end of May but it was very chilly, and rainy that weekend so we utilized the fireplaces which were very nice! The heated floors were also amazing! The house had all the amenities. A fire pit with firewood which we did not get to use due to the weather, and a hot tub which we did get to use. Great place for a family or group, we will absolutely stay again! The host were also great! Very kind, very accommodating and quick to respond if we had questions.
We loved this. Very thoughtful, and the maple syrup and popcorn were a big hit!

Perfect fit for our group of 10!

Our group of 10 all had a fantastic time at this property! Location to Killington slopes and venues couldn't be better (5 mins to K-1 without traffic). We enjoyed the spacious living room/dining room and kitchen, and especially the "hunting cabin" decor theme. The hot tub was in regular use by all ages and provided a nice view of the slopes in the distance. The 5 kids (9-18) enjoyed the game area, and bedding layout was a good match (we didn't even use a room that has a twin bunk bed in it). The kitchen amenities were decent, and the beds were comfortable. We brought our dog, and she enjoyed the 3x/day walks through the neighborhood. The value was really great for this place, although in full disclosure we were there in "offseason" for skiing (April 16-20). The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. Overall, we all had a most enjoyable time and certainly would stay here again.

Perfect Killington Home

We couldn’t have asked for a better place! Absolutely one of the best air b&b we have stayed at. Relaxing beautiful just perfect. Walked around neighborhood in the mornings while drinking coffee and view of the killington mountain Was only a few minutes to drive to Killington mountain. When we got to Killington to ski/snow board.. Parking was easy. Home is so close to everything and right off Killington road. We all had the best sleep we had in a long time at this home! Loved!

Another great stay

We just wrapped up our third stay at this property, and it was just as fantastic as our previous visits. The host was quick and responsive, even following up with a text after our first night to check in on us. The home was spotless and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The layout is ideal for a large family, and the master bedroom bed was incredibly comfortable. We’re definitely looking forward to returning!

Great Stay At The Bear!

Dan and Holly really make planning a great weekend easy! The house was very clean, much more spacious than the pictures make it out to be and is walkable to some of Killington’s best bars and restaurants including Pickle Barrel! Would definitely stay again!!

Another great stay

We just returned from our second stay in as many years and can't say enough good things. Dan and Holly are terrific host and the property is immaculate. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is well equipped and we all enjoyed the Foosball and Basketball in the game room. The location is perfect for a visit to Woodstock and Killington. We're looking forward to going back next year.

Beautiful, Relaxing getaway

End of season ski trip

This home in Killington was perfect for our end of season ski trips. Conveniently located off the access road, minutes to the mountain and all the great restaurants and shops Killington has to offer. The home provided plenty of comfortable sleeping quarters for our group. A nice kitchen for making meals. And a great living room to relax and socialize in. The hot tub was a great amenity after a day long day on slopes.

Amazing home

I can't imagine staying anywhere else in the Killington/Woodstock area. From the moment we walked in I didn't want to leave. The host is prompt with responses and very accommodating. We found the home to be immaculately clean and very well equipped. We'll go back to Killington just for the opportunity to spend more time in this house!

This place was wonderful, the owners thought of everything to make the stay very comfortable.

Very nice place with a ton of charm. One of the few places I’ve ever rented with nice kitchen knives, pots and pans, etc. hot tub was perfect, location wonderful and layout of the house is great. Owners were very nice to work with as well!! Highly recommended.

Greatest weekend ever!

We rented Dan and Holly’s house for the weekend with a few of our closest friends and family to celebrate a birthday in Killington. The house was so gorgeous and very clean. Dan and holly provided a warm welcome gift which was so kind. The bed in the masters room was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in and the day bed and bunks were also very comfy. Getting in was easy and the hosts made sure to reach out and make sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of skiing and they provided plenty of towels to accommodate. Beautiful property, wonderful hosts, we can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you Dan and Holly!

Luxe Killington Getaway!

I can’t say enough good things about this property and experience! The house was spacious, immaculate, and just minutes to town! I stayed with some of my closest friends and family to celebrate my 28th birthday and Dan and Holly and their fantastic caretaker went above and beyond. The house was in incredible condition and we walked into a beautiful welcome gift. Additionally, they drain and replace the water in the hot tub for each new guest! This really impressed me - I had friends who weren’t planning on using the hot tub until they learned that. I appreciate Dan and Holly going the extra mile to maximize cleanliness and truly provide 5-star service. Truly, everything was perfect! I will be staying here again, thank you so much for the most amazing rental experience!
